Gonna give 2 stars instead of 1 because it looks like they just opened. Do not come here (yet) if you are on a time crunch. There's only 1 person making drinks and a line. I will come back because the matcha looks really good I just need more free time to try lol it look like a 30 minute minimum wait for a drink. After 10 minutes in line and seeing her not take orders I was over it. Super cute in there tho! And the girl making the drinks looks sweet but they are definitely understaffed on a Saturday morning. read more

Tried the Coastal Cloud Latte and the Mango Matcha both incredible! The Coastal Cloud has this unique smooth flavor and the Mango Matcha is made right in front of you tasted it! Soft Cafe - Espresso and water - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Hawthorne, California

I have walked past this Cafe while walking to the gym . The smell of coffee and the beautiful , clean aesthetic drew me to stop by with my husband today . We ordered the RAF , one lightly sweetened with lavender and the other heavier on the sweet with vanilla, both were absolutely delicious. The barista was so courteous and knowledgeable, we asked for suggestions and the RAF that she suggested was spot on . She mentioned they have only been up and running for about 2 months , it's so important now more than ever to support our local businesses. First time visit , definitely won't be the last . read more

I really liked the banana matcha and the ham croissant. My friend got the strawberry matcha and the salmon croissant too. You can still taste the grassy flavor without it being overpowering. While it is a bit on the pricey side, I'd say you get the quality of what you pay for. My friend and I really enjoyed it and are planning to go back soon!! read more

The service and drinks are consistently good, and parking is easy. The Acai bowls are delicious.

Absolutely delicious. We were lucky to try Soft when they were still in their early soft open days a few months ago. We were sold on the coffee and matcha and couldn't wait to come back when the menu was settled. Today we came back and holy shit. The Acai bowls were absolutely fantastic. I mean so freaking delicious. They do have sorbet to add, so it's much more like a treat. And it was so so good. Their chia pudding in the Acai bowl was the perfect consistency. I also got the strawberry matcha and the iced vanilla latte which were both chefs kiss. Can't wait to make this our regular neighborhood spot! read more

Great spot I would say. The decor is very clean and warm, not over the top. Plenty of space to sit. I ordered the Madagascar vanilla latte and a breakfast burrito. The latte was simple and good! No powder mixes here. The burrito was also good. Freshly made, not greasy. The blonde lady, I'm assuming the manager, was very kind and friendly. She offered my dog a treat and was attentive to other customers. Overall cool spot. Music not too loud, lots on the menu. I'll definitely be back to try more. read more

Soft Cafe - matcha w matcha cold foam & strawberry matcha - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Hawthorne, California

I've came here a few times and every time has been a delight. But yesterday (9/9/25) I came here and usually there's a bit of a wait, I don't really mind it as I've seen new employees, probably still training and haven't gotten the hang of things quite yet. One of the owners I'm assuming she's always there when I go, was honestly super rude to the employee. Regardless of how busy, hectic things can be, you don't treat your employees like that especially in front of customers. The lady that took my order was a gem! She was super polite and welcomed me with kindness. I wanted to say something but thought maybe not. Overall the acai bowls are to die for, their muffins are delicious, and their drinks are honestly like anywhere else I've been. read more

This is a cute little spot. The ice cream is good but the price points on the drinks, sandwiches, and pastries are ridiculous. They are higher than Starbucks which doesn't make sense. There are no trash cans to throw anything away which is weird. The staff is a little cold and standoffish. They are not warm and friendly people. For the amount of money they charge and the attitudes they have, I won't be back. It's too bad because I really wanted to support this local business. read more

This place is such a great find! Went there with my mom for tea and dessert, and my mom is the kind of person who doesn't like going out and prefers simple food at home. Surprisingly, she loved the place and she really enjoyed her chia pudding. The food here is great, the drinks delicious, but what really sets this place apart is the service. It's been a while since I found this kind of "small-town" vibe in LA--truly caring, warm, attentive people. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

I never leave reviews! But they deserve one! I'm always on the hunt for the best coffee around the Southbay. This one hands down might just have to take first place! Every other coffee spot is overhyped and has no flavor and is just bleh tbh l. It's a family owned business and service is excellent! The ladies were so sweet and even gave me a free cookie which totally made my day. Thank you will be back! read more
