The peanut butter pita ya bowl (added pb on top). So delicious!!
Jennifer B.

First time. I'll be back. So delicious. Quite refreshing. Nice employees. Super helpful. Clean store. Good vibe.

Delightful. Absolutely loved my açaí bowl from here! There was a bit of a wait (~30 mins), but that goes to show just how popular this spot is! It is conveniently close to the beach so it's an easy walk down to enjoy your bowl with a view. I loved the chocolate one - it wasn't too chocolate heavy, rather more peanut butter heavy, which is exactly what I was looking for! The fruit was fresh, the bowl was loaded with toppings, and the pricing was pretty standard (maybe a little high) compared to other açaí shops. I'll be back!

Tried to go here after my favorite acai place closed down and I feel skimped out of my money. Majority of my bowl consisted of a ton of granola and fruit. Very disappointing and needs to be corrected for the price of money people are spending

My two favorite bowls are the electric pink and peanut butter pipeline. I prefer the pitaya over the açai. Paradise bowls is consistent and the price is fair for the portion you get / the ingredients they use. The staff are friendly and often local students. Good beach vibe.

Classic smoothies and açaí / pitaya bowl spot in downtown Manhattan Beach. Simple straight forward menu, small storefront with an ordering counter. Take your order and enjoy it at the beach! Limited metered parking around the area.

If you follow anyone who lives in or frequents Manhattan Beach, chances are you have seen them post a picture of a Paradise Bowl held up with the Manhattan Beach Pier in the background. I can't even hold them though, I was on the same sh*t. It was one of my last days in LA for a minute, so I took the pup down to get a bowl. I knew I was in good hands when one of the Gen-Z kids took my order and began making my Gaucho bowl. They always be cookin with acai bowls, coffees, and smoothies. I got a medium size ($12.50), but realized my error when I got handed my bowl as it was HUGE. Hefty portion sizes here. I mean you know I love a good portion but fruit is sneaky with sugar so I felt bad eating all that but what am I gonna do? Throw out perfectly good food? This bowl was BEAUTIFUL. Inspiringly beautiful. You probably think I'm being dramatic but look at the attached pic. An acai based topped with granola under loads of blueberries, strawberries, and sliced bananas with a fresh honey drizzle to finish. GOD DID! Me and the little man walked down to the strand, got the notorious pic with the bowl in front of the beach, took a seat, demolished the bowl and listened to music for a minute while the story likes came flooding in. It's like that... Ig @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Guava pitaya bowl maui wow me
Brenda L.

The good: Acai bowls are one of my favorite desserts. I got the Maui Wow-me bowl from the Pitaya menu (they have an acai menu too). It had guava juice in it and was delicious with an island flare. I liked the bee pollen topper. It was under $11 for a size small (good for 1-2 people). I thought it was a fair price and it was made in a timely manner. The location is beachside so it was a wonderful snack to take with you while walking along Manhattan beach. There are also lots of cute shops around here so it's a very walkable area. The fruit were fresh. There were many menu items to choose from. They sell smoothies too. The bad: There was no indoor seating. However, there are benches nearby outside. I've been here twice and the second time the wait was a half hour. They should have a text phone alert set up for when your bowl is ready. I felt like some of the workers were just moving slowly taking their time. The interesting: The kitchen is open so you can see folks cutting up the fresh fruit. They have 2 other SoCal locations. This location's their original.

The amazing açaí bowls and smoothies are in high demand here. There is always a line but they have several staff working around the clock. They told us it would be about 15 min so we stepped outside to wait. We got the bikini smoothie and the gaucho açaí bowl. The ingredients were fresh and tasted so yummy. Would definitely recommend the medium sized bowl for the most value. The menu has so many good options for a refreshing snack.

Gauva Sunrise and Gaucho

This was definitely a busy place at 11:30 on a Sunday. It did take about 10-15 minutes before we got our bowls. The only downside is that there is nowhere to sit to eat our bowls. We got the small size of the Gaucho and the Gauva Sunrise. Both were delicious and a perfect size. Would definitely get again the next time we are in town.

I really like Paradise Bowls. I really enjoy Acai bowls in general, but I've had some terrible ones over the years. This little shop does it right. The Peach Bum and the Coconut Breeze are my two favorite items on the menu but honestly everything looks like it tastes good. Overall the have Acai bowls, pitaya bowls and smoothies. Ive only ever see one person working behind the register but they are moving quick! They're almost no seating so you'll more than likely need to take your order to go which is no problem since you're a few feet away from the beach so you can take your bowl and go enjoy the views. Would definitely recommend.

Razz Party

Delicious acai bowl! I added mango. The Razz Party has a hint of tart lemonade flavor

Cute little storefront serving fresh drinks and bowls! It takes a minute to make since it's all made to order, but is right on the beachfront and a great place to hang out.

Gaucho Small

Came here for a quick healthy snack while walking the strand. I was very excited to eat it hence the picture of it half eaten already lol. I ordered the Gaucho bowl and it was very good! All of the toppings were very fresh and portion to price was solid for acai bowls these days. Blend wasn't as think as I normally like but still good. Staff was friendly and attentive. Go check it out next time you're in the area especially on a warm day!

Delicious and nice. Staff is nice and works hard during rushes. $13 for normal size açaí bowls and totally worth the price!

Slow! Slow! Slow! Make sure you have a lot of time on your hands if you go there as I think they're growing the bananas in the back.

Also, don't automatically assume you're ordering a low-calorie "diet" drink just because it's a smoothie. Some of these can be surprisingly high in calories, especially with all the nut butters, dates, protein powders, and add-ins. Delicious? Absolutely. Light and innocent? Not necessarily. I still enjoy coming here as a treat, but my wallet and calorie tracker both need a warning beforehand.

Then, when the crowd dwindled, I was pretty much the only one still there so, yeah they def forgot it. I usually don't like to say anything, but I also didn't want to be there any longer than I already had been, so I kindly mentioned I hadn't received my drink yet. They were ok about it, I guess (definitely not nice) and I get when an establishment is busy, sometimes orders can sometimes get lost or accidentally not added. Whatever the reason may be, I eventually got my order and it was definitely rushed. I ordered the Tahitian Vanilla Bean Matcha and it was eh. I'm sure it's probably better but literally very low effort was put forth to make it. I decided to give this place a second chance during the week, when it's less busy. I got an acai bowl, I believe the Brazilian and it was good. I got a drink also, but it wasn't very memorable. Overall, it was ok.
