The female employee said the store wasn't open yet & that she needed 5 more minutes. One, maybe you should keep the door closed then, if you're not open. Second, maybe you should arrive at least 10 minutes before you open to give you more time than just 5 MINUTES to set up & do what you need to do. The front of office girl and nurse were both really sweet and welcoming but I didn't have the best experience. Shortly after my IV treatment began, a small group came in for treatments. I checked on the progress of my bag a couple of times and noticed when it was almost done. I kept thinking that someone would come check in but after 45 minutes...still no one. My bag was empty and I continued to wait and enjoy the quiet time. But I guess too much time passed because several minutes later, I looked down at the IV in my arm and the tube was filing up with blood. Feeling slightly panicked, (not knowing if this was supposed to happen) I unhooked my IV bag and brought it to the front desk. She was on the phone but looked surprised when I came out with a blood filled IV. She quickly turned the dial and assured me the nurse would come see me soon. A few more minutes passed and the nurse finally came in. She said she promised this was normal and apologized for the wait as she got caught up with the other patients. The treatment went fine and nothing was "wrong" but I was surprised that they let the bag go empty for as long as it did and that I had to go out and find help when I started bleeding!
