During our stay in Orlando, we came here twice. Nice place, well decorated and very clean. They also have outdoor seating if you want to have fresh air. On our first visit, I ordered the Pabellon arepas and loved that it's very well-seasoned, but the only downside was the beef was pretty dry. My BF got the Lomo Saltado and the meat was juicy and overall very tender and seasoned well. 2nd visit, I ordered the Steak and Eggs, the steak was perfectly cooked and not salty, and the chimichurri was spectacular and complimented my meal. My BF wanted to give the Pabellon arepas another try and this time the meat was not dry which was great. We also got the Nutella Empanada for dessert and was delightful. Charrusco steak was EXTREMLY chewy. The empanadas were nothing special. The yucca was boiled but a bit under cooked. Honestly it felt like a tourist trap, pictures of the food look amazing but the reality left me disappointed. I will say I have had way better food in Orlando. read more

Came here for quick bite, left feeling like I got way more than I expected. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and vibes were great. We got the pelua arepa and the Venezuelan empanada with beef. Both items were super delicious and definitely the stand out of our trip to Orlando. The empanada had a strong beefy flavor with that very mildly sweet fried dough. It was crisp and perfectly textured. The sauce provided a good balance and I absolutely loved it. However, the empanada itself was amazing without the sauce; strong contender by itself. The arepa was decent size, and was very well seasoned. The texture of the arepa itself was very pleasing, not dry and with just enough moisture. Let me start by saying I love Latin food I've been to some incredible restaurants across the US and abroad. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with this place. I placed a pick-up order and tried to call ahead to add some extra flavoring like hot sauce or chimichurri--but they don't answer their phone once you've ordered online. So, if you want any extras, you have to ask in person. The chimichurri sauce was good and had a nice flavor, but the hot sauce was an extra $2-$4 per side, even just for regular sour cream, which was a bit disappointing for a Latin restaurant. The Churrasco was delicious and super filling with 3 sides. I asked for medium but it was more medium well. Luckily, it wasn't too dry or chewy and the chimichurri sauce on top was so fresh and vibrant! The Churros were decent but they served it to us in the beginning so by the time we had finished our entrees and got to it, they were pretty cold. How I'll sum it up being of a Cuban decent is that while being 1000 miles from home, it was pretty darn close to a home cooked meal growing up. I have never been to a restaurant with this system that they offer. When you enter, the menu is displayed on screens on the wall, there are 2 computers available to place orders that can only be paid by card, and there is an attendant for those who prefer to pay in cash. The attendant was not very friendly, and did not offer us any kind of help unless we asked. When you place your order, you take a number and go to the table of your choice. Some time later, a waitress came with our drinks and cutlery, she did not ask us if we needed anything or not. Our order was "Brazilian X-frango frito" $12 and two "Colombian burgers" $14, Coca-Cola drinks $3.50, Corona $6 and iced mocha $3.25. Our dishes did not take long to arrive, the two Colombian burgers, according to my daughter and husband, were tasty, but my Brazilian X-Fried Chicken was nothing more than a large fried nugget, a total insult to any Brazilian eating that, tasteless and super greasy. After we received our food, no one else came to our table to ask if we needed anything. My husband had to go to the bar more than once to ask for things. In addition to the terrible experience with my food, my daughter's iced mocha had to be remade because there was plastic inside her drink. Before the Holidays we were down for Christmas and had another amazing group dinner here! We come here every chance we are down in Orlando since they first opened and we had their breakfast. We are all Vegetarians and I am Mandatory low sodium and still able to eat here without any complications!! Kiddo & I split the cheese Empanadas and all get the vegetarian platter meals. I am able to comment they make awesome black beans, I really do miss having them and I get one or 2 to enjoy from my DH! We all get the fried yuca, sweet Plantains & Tostones they get the beans & I order the odd item left out for the day and we share. Everything is delicious and cooked to perfection! You can say this is a hybrid setup where you walk up, order your food, pay, sit at a table and wait for it to be delivered. So drinks and the food arrived, but there is no silverware. After I asked for some eating utensils I was told "later" and it was never brought to the table. We ended up taking the silverware from the next table. After we finished eating and requested a box for leftovers someone came over. I pointed out the missing silverware and poor service. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
