Great service and amazing food! I used the order food function on my yelp app and I was able to put in my entire order and pay for it all through my phone. I picked up my food 15 minutes later! Loved everything about my experience. read more

This place is delicious! We were across the street for a conference and walked over for lunch. Service was quick and very friendly. Food was high quality and delicious, large portions for great prices (Cuban sandwich for $7, pulled pork platter for $9). Would love to return in the future. read more

We ordered the pork with yellow rice and beans. The pork was tender and flavorful and the rice had bacon and fresh cilantro. Very delicious! For $6.95, it came with a side salad as well. Excellent little place with cute decor! read more

Excellent food quality and unique eats. Vegetarian friendly too. The coffee was average to below average, resulting in dropping one star from the rating. read more

What a great find in what appears to be an area of endless chain restaurants. Roast pork, skirt steak and shrimp were great, as were the deserts that followed. read more

Great find for casual dinner! Food was delicious, portions were good, service was nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about. Great meal for the price. read more

The best Latin food I've had in orlando. I had pollo a la plancha with yellow rice, sweet plantains, and fried yucca. I also had the nututal blackberry fruit juice. The food was delicious and all of the staff was so friendly. We got there at 10:40, lunch didn't start until 11:00 but the manager was nice and let us order lunch. read more

This place is a nice new restaurant in town. It's only about 15 minutes away from Disney so it's a nice break from the hum drum food there. Very pleased with the options. read more

The food was really good. However, we were a group of 7 and in the middle of our lunch, the lady interrupts our conversation to ask who paid for the meal because THEY charged incorrectly and we owed a dollar. I quickly went to just give her a dollar in cash and she said no, that they had to refund the card and charge it again. Really? For a dollar?? We found this incredible unprofessional, especially since they were the ones who made the mistake. read more

You know you should come eat here when you see the lines. Very popular with tourists and locals alike, the food is pretty good. A little salty for our tastes, but we don't use a lot of salt. It's probably perfect for most folks. We had roast pork and pabellon criollo, both with rice, beans and plaintains. This Latin American restaurant has better black beans and rice than many Cuban restaurants I've eaten at! The food was brought to our table quickly, but they were slow with bussing tables, and the bathrooms weren't tidy. The restaurant is big, but not much indoor seating considering how busy it is. And, who wants to eat outside in Florida? I'd definitely eat here again! read more

Best meal I've had in a while. Authentic South American experience and very reasonably priced. We're going back for dinner again tomorrow! 6/5 stars read more

We're in Orlando for an quick weekend getaway. Hubby and I were starving and we're looking for a Latin restaurant on yelp. This place was very close to our hotel. It's a casual modern setting, looks like it use to be a bar. You place your order at the front, get a number and they being your food. We ordered tequenos for apps. They were really soft and cheesy, yummy. It was nice that the menu had the items showing which country it was from. I ordered the cachapa, it's like a sweet arepa, or you could call it a Venezuelan tortilla :) it had such yummy cheese with the right amount of salt, I added the roasted pork to it, it tasted nice, but you could really order it without any meat on it, that's how good it is. Hubby had the pork with rice and beans it was ok. The only thing was the service could improve a little. Many customers had to come up to the bar to get napkins, ask for cutlery or condiments, things which should have already been on there table. Other than that we liked it. read more

I'll cut to the chase: get yourself a Venezuelan roasted pork cachapa and side of plantains during your afternoon break from the theme parks. After that, get the Nutella empanada and coconut flan. You'll be singing. They are just that good. This place is a huge bargain for really phenomenal Latin food. You would easily pay twice the amount at nearby soulless chains Bongos or Cuba Libre. We tried other things, a few small plate empanadas, a Cuban, and a burger... those were less impressive. The Cuban needed more dressing, the burger was just ok. But just so it's totally clear: the cachapa, plantains, Nutella empanada, and coconut flan are heavenly. This place will be a part of my Disney-visiting routine from now on. read more

This was really good Latin food! Highly recommend for those with gluten wheat allergy. This is why we decided to come here. Everything on the menu was clearly marked with a yellow dot for being safe to eat for a gluten allergy. There were MANY options too. They even had gluten free bread/empanadas! The place had a cool/elegant vibe even though it was fast casual which is always a plus in my book. Try it! read more

We found this place by accident and it was definitely a good accident! The place is new and needs minor improvements to get five stars but we will definitely go back. The food was very tasty. My sister in law loved the empanadas. I didnt like that the food was served on paper plates with plastic utensils but I quickly got over that once I tasted the food. The flan and Tres Leches cake was amazing. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. We went there for dinner and will be going back for lunch. read more

On vacation here, and was looking for something new (I'm from the west coast) my son myself and my mother all ate here on a afternoon and it was the most pleasant experience in a long time. Great music, amazing service and even better food. read more

To be in Cocoa Beach and to not enjoy a meal here at least once would be a tragedy. Pork sofrito bowl.

so we literally just finished dinner here. the food was amazing ! I was super happy to see they had vegetarian options on their menu as well. I had the vegetarian entree with black beans yellow rice and boiled yoca. everything was super flavorful I even would go as far as saying probably the most flavorful food we've had this week. another thing that I thought was pretty cool is they even offered vegetarian empanadas. which was delicious ! besides the food being great the service was great as well. everyone we encountered was super nice and friendly. I wish we had some place local to us at home ! read more

Food was excellent. Great service. The chef came out and spoke with our table. I ordered the pork entree with black beans, yellow rice and fries. It comes with a salad, too. The dressing is so delicious. Everything is well seasoned. Such a good value, too. A ton of food for the right price! I can't wait to go back. read more

Thanks Yelp! As out-of-towners, I was so happy we found this gem!! The Columbian empanadas were so good that we had to go buy two more! The perfect blend of crispy shell and mildly spicy meat, potato, and cheese inside. The fried plantains were delectable, pork entree flavorful, and even my daughter's fries were enviable! We enjoyed the atmosphere too, high end fast food (you order at the counter), with a very clean, modern space. I would highly recommend this place! The service was very friendly. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the ham and cheese puff pastry appetizer came out cold in the middle and we had to send it back. They were extremely accommodating though, and remedied the problem promptly. read more

Upon entering we were greeted by Bety and José Manuel who were super friendly and recommended the best Venezuelan food I've ever tried, arepas y cachapas! The atmosphere is very relaxed and music is authentic to the theme. We will definitely come back and recommend to everyone!! read more

Me, the wife and 3 kids 15, 8,6 are from WV and try to indulge in the cuisine of other cultures whenever we can especially somewhere with authentic food like this. We enjoyed the Cuban, Columbia Burger, Churrasco, and Cachapa. All were prepared well and exceeded expectations. read more

This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for the yellow rice. I ordered a few things via DoorDash because my mom recommended it as she had ordered from there a few days prior. She had some leftovers that I got to try and they were fantastic even a couple days later. I ordered a couple empanadas, one Venezuelan and one Colombian. Both were great but the Venezuelan one stood out. I also had a ham and Gouda arepa. If you love cheese you'll love this. It was heavy on the cheese side but I love cheese so I enjoyed it. Now here is where I took a star off, the yellow rice. I had some of my mom's leftover rice and it was delicious so when my order was delivered it was the first thing I took a bite of. I must have received a bad batch because the rice was super gritty. It was such a disappointment.I tried to power through it because the flavor was still there but I just couldn't get past the undercooked grains. I will for sure give them another chance at some point and maybe eat in next time in case there's an issue. read more

Our first time in a Cuban Latin restaurant. This was delicious. meat was super moist and full of flavor. Yuca was super delicious and moist. The beans we're perfect. Best churros I've ever had in my life. We are in Orlando for a week we might come again. read more

Very nice restaurant. The food is really good. A little expensive but a nice and clean place and the service is really good

Great value! I got the roasted Cuban pork with yellow rice, sweet plantains and fries. The pork was tender and moist, but it lacked any deep flavor. The rice was standard and complimented the pork very well. The plantains were delicious and perfectly fried. The meal also came with a house salad. All in all you can't beat the price and knowing it was prepared fresh. I will return but next time I'm going to try their large selection of empanadas from different Latin regions. read more

I've never been to a restaurant where an employee greets you at the door and shakes your hand to welcome you. We were asked if it was our first time in, and since it was for the majority of the group he took the time to explain the menu and the restaurant's set up (order at the counter, get a number, have your food delivered.) I ordered the Argentinian empanada with spinach and cheese as a starter, the pollo a la plancha with plantains, tostones, and yellow rice. For the price, this meal cannot be beat - it was delicious! In addition to the 3 sides, my meal also came accompanied by a small salad that was fresh and served with a tasty dressing. All in all, this was a win of a find, and I'm happy it is not too far from my side of town; we'll be back!! read more

Ask for Otter if you need help with gluten free. Had the pollo a la plancha. And get this! Separate fryer for yuca so no cross contamination. One of the best places we went to in Orlando. read more

I haven't been to a Latin restaurant anywhere in Florida that has such a nice variety of Latin American for that is so tasty. Each of us (4) had a meal from a different country and all things were excellent. Dominican chicken soup, Cuban media noche, Colombian hamburger and Venezuelan pabellón. Service was fast, staff was friendly and the music was good, too. read more

I give this a two only because the staff was so accommodating. Came here for breakfast...yes, I know most of the reviews are for lunch or later, but you would think it would be fine. Both breakfasts came out cold. I had the B.E.C. which was only saved by the flavor in the Cuban bread. My wife had the avocado toast with egg that was delivered cold. When I returned the dish they did remake her a BEC which was delivered on the cool side of cold. I hope our experience was a rare one. read more

So delicious! Ordered online for pick up and it was ready when we got there. Super friendly staff. Will definitely return when I'm back in the area! read more

Looked on Yelp for a casual place close to our resort. It's a little more casual than I realized. You order and pay at the front before being seated. But the reviews were correct. Everything was fantastic and a step above what you would expect in a place like this. Sat outside on a beautiful evening. Pollo a la brasa and roast pork. Everything was so good and fresh. Very good value. read more

Authentic Venezuelan food! Legit. The Tequenos, cachapa, cachito, and empanadas are outstanding. Everything is homemade, and staff truly cares about the customers. I also love the cubano sandwich. So good!!!! read more

As a Latina I am quick to point out the negatives that non-authentic Spanish restaurants make. However Sofrito was on point with their food. The Pulled Pork Cachapa was D E L I S H ! I've never tasted something like that before, the plate gets a bit wet from all the ingredients blending but it was so good. I also had their rice with chicken and sweet plantains... so good! Will definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the Orlando area. read more

My, oh my. This food was so good. Generous portions, authentic meals from a few great places across the globe. Great atmosphere, too, especially if you don't like blasting TVs, long waits and huge crowds. read more

I went here for breakfast and I was not happy. I would like to go back for a dinner and hopefully my experience will be better. The breakfast selection was poor; however the empanadas were very good. I had no issues with service, I was just disappointed at the breakfast. I felt I could have made a much better breakfast at home. read more

BOMB! Dropped in for my first time while on a business trip from LA. This spot holds it down. Was surprised to find a draft IPA. Needless to say, I started my meal with a quality and very cold microbrew. Followed that up with a Argentinian Empanada as a starter; they have various styles of Empanadas inspired from different countries. The main event was the Churrasco I ordered, which comes with three sides. I chose Puerto Rican inspired Yellow Rice/Red Beans and Tostones. The staff is very friendly, which makes for a great vibe. Definitely worth checking out. read more

Excellent authentic Latin cuisine with warm friendly service. Definitely check this place out if you're in Orlando.

Sofrito has to be one of the most happiest cafes we've been to. Happy crew, music and ambiance. We went in for breakfast and found the menu to truly represent south american comfort food with options ranging from empanadas (Colombian/Venezuelan/Cuban), yuca chips, arepas, cuban flat bread sandwiches and variety of egg preparations. Generous serving of coffee and lot of draft brews available on tap. Cilantro and garlic sauce is a must try and goes well with almost every savoury item on the menu. All in all, a great breakfast joint for a relaxing vacation day. Will definitely visit again. read more
