Convenient location beside the Sheraton, open early for breakfast. Authentic Latin American food, at a great price. I came here 3X during my stay. Venezuelan empanada, churrasco, and pepellon are the highlights. Scorpion hot sauce too. read more

One of the best meals I've had! The Churrasco was cooked perfectly and the Venezuelan Empanadas are a must-have. The decor is simple but classy and the atmosphere is energetic but not chaotic. The waitstaff are excellent. We had a very short wait for our food and all the staff were friendly and anticipated our needs. The only bad thing is that it's in Orlando and not in Michigan where I live! I'd be here at least once a week if I was local. read more

Great Latin food and atmosphere! Everything was delicious ! I've never had Venezuelan food, it was really good. They of course had café con Leche which went well with the food. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. It is in a great location. My girlfriend and I were looking for authentic food that was not a chain and we were surprised by the Selection of food. If we did not go to the Epcot Food and wine festival the day before we would have sampled the craft beer on tap. read more

Amazing! We ordered the Churrasco (skirt steak) and Pollo a la Plancha with yellow rice and black beans. Couldn't have been better. I also got the sangria and enjoyed it. Fried yucca was a bit like eating fat french fries with less guilt. After reading some of the reviews here, I had the sense that this was a hole-in-the-wall, but that's not at all the case. While you order at the counter, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. I'd love to return when we're in the Orlando area. read more

Ordering our food took a long time. After ordering it took 35 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered a vegetarian sandwich, the vegetables were raw inside. I paid for quesitos, afterwards they told me they didn't have any so brought me something else instead. We ordered an arepa de jamón y queso and the cheese was cold and not melted. The Argentinian empanada was salty and reheated. We also had to wait a long time for tables to be cleaned and there is lots of food on the floor from previous patrons. They did gave a good salsa on the table "Scorpio". I wouldn't need to come back here. read more

We came out here for spring break and before we arrived we looked up good Latin restaurants this was one that I bookmarked on yelp and was very happy to finally try it it was amazing I can't say enough good things about it I can't wait to go back to Orlando and eat at this place. There is a large selection of Latin foods that have generous portions lots of flavor and they are reasonably price. I had such a good time at this restaurant that one of their dishes I fell in love with and had to find the recipe to make at home! read more

Great selection of Latin food, coffee and desserts. Not an expert, but all 3 families in our group love it. Will definitely return. read more

We came in at 3 pm wondering if they were open. Friendly welcoming staff, we tried their appetizers, chicken empanada, mini taquerias and fresh guava juice and mango juice. Everything was flavorful and delicious! Definitely coming back! read more

We went here 3 days in a row while staying in Orlando. The price for what you get and for a sit down restaurant is fantastic. The sweet plantains are incredible. 3 sides with your entree? Amazing. Big portions, Great food, great service, great price, 5 Stars. read more

The food was excellent and the service was great. There was a miscommunication on the order they took it back and fixed it right away. The food came out wonderful and I would definitely go back again. They even offer a check in offer! read more

We had breakfast there and it was amazingly delicious I tried to leave a 5 star before but for some reason only one star appeared, I don't know what happened ‍ read more

For starters it is very different then a traditional restaurant. You have to sit yourself then get back up to the register to order your food then get a number and sit back down. No mixed drinks just some pre-made drinks, wine and beer. Food is delicious!!!! Drinks are sweet (not strong) quick service. Basically cashiers and runners. Food came out within 5 minutes. read more

The place was really good and it was full inside and outside. I really wish they had at least Panamanian food as an option too.

Just amazing! Great food, fair prices, nice friendly people. My only issue was the French fries were not quite crispy enough.

Food was delicious!! Delivery time was very reasonable. Order was accurate and very authentic especially compared to our Latino restaurants in the area. read more

Great fun Latin American food - all different types. Some food came at different times but it all tasted great !

Authentic food with good vegetarian options. Great food with quick and friendly service. Great steak and rice, well seasoned food with a variety of sides. Good place close to Disney shops. read more

I found this place via Yelp while looking for gluten free food and I was so excited to have a meal here. I was not disappointed. Food was delicious, portions were really big, and cafe con leche was spot on. Even the kids meal portions were large. I appreciate all the gluten free options and the staff were really friendly and helpful too. I wish this restaurant was near to where we live (Seattle)... definitely a winner! read more

Great lunch, informal, freindly, good food, good price. All the staff were outgoing and exceptional. Will go again next time I'm in town read more

We were staying at the Sheraton right behind this restaurant & decided to place an online order for breakfast. It is within walking distance, so it's a great option if you don't care for hotel food. The food here was awesome! Breakfast options were affordable too, all less than $10. The yucca fries & the cheese bread were delicious! I wished we had dined here for other meals but alas we didn't have the time. read more

The food here is good. I enjoyed what they have to offer. But the problem and the reason for my low rating is due to the amount of time they take to get your food out. I understand it takes some time to cook. But I don't feel like they need to take an hour to bring out food. Not just that but there is a lot of communication problems with the employees. What I mean by that they don't know or they get confused on what food to hand out or they forget. I been here multiple times so it has not been the first occasion. So food is good Management- needs improvement. They are friendly though. read more

Excellent food we tried one of each empanadas. Roast pork and lomo Saltado were cooked well and had lots of flavor. They were out of tres leche cake but were offered guava and cheese nuggets, which were tasty. Definitely coming back next time in Orlando. read more

TOTALLY yummy! I'm so glad that I checked Yelp and went to this eatery. It's counter service, so order at the counter and they'll deliver the food to your table. It's incredibly reasonable for outstanding food! The staff was wonderful, they humored our travel companions who have less adventurous tastes and everyone enjoyed the meal. The empanadas from different locales were excellent, the Cuban sandwiches were superb, and the shrimp was wonderful. thank you read more

I stopped by this café for some brunch before heading back home from Orlando. It was a good choice, as both the ambience and food here were comforting. I appreciated the open space despite its quaint size. I hate when small restaurants are filled to capacity! The decor is very trendy and the customer service is exquisite. I ordered roast pork and yellow rice as my main. The portions were moderate compared to other Latin restaurants, but they tasted very flavorful. My favorite part was seeing that they had soursop juice which is my fiancé's favorite! They use cute Mason jars for the juice making it even more appealing. I also loved seeing the modern theme (ie. menus hangings on twine, rustic bulbs) that Sofrito portrayed. It puts even more edge to it all. read more

Awesome place! Authentic and very tasty! Ordered: grilled chicken, steak, and snapper. All with yellow rice, black beans, and plantains. In short: the chicken was juicy, the steak was cooked medium to perfection and the snapper was light and flaky. The rice, beans and plantains all great! I will definitely be coming back!! read more

It's always nice to find a small place that away from the rest of the world that's not a chained café. Food was delicious and at a great price in a area that's the heart of LBV where things are so over priced and you don't want to take your kids to a fast food place! They have a very comfortable atmosphere in which you can relax and not feel rushed and they offer boardgames in which you can play with family and/ or friends! Really worth the visit especially if you like Spanish food. read more

What is going on here? This place has 4.5 stars and it's empty on the Friday night!!! Came here and got the pork, black beans, yellow rice and sweet plantains. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and they even have board games to play! This may sound weird, but the booth seats are SO COMFY!!! My food was so good. The pork was perfectly seasoned and the salad was very fresh. Why aren't there more people here?? Please eat here!!! read more

Favorite local restaurant. Why go to the fast food places across the street when you can pay the same price to go here and get twice the food (that's also super flavorful!) I've been here so many times and it's never that busy. Pros: -seriously such flavorful food. If you don't know what something on the menu is, google it- I promise it's worth it -great price for so much food! (if you order the meal that comes with three sides and a side salad!) -right next to the entrance to Disney Springs....why go anywhere else? Cons: -first time going can be kind of awkward: grab a menu that's hanging off the chalkboard, wait in line then order, go grab your own water, find a place to sit -right next to a souvenir shop so you wouldn't think it was a nice place Overall: would and have recommended this to many friends. If you are near Disney property and don't want to travel much, this should be a no-brainer! read more

Let me start by saying this is NOT Mexican Food...this is real, authentic, no-kidding LATIN Food. There are menu items from Cuba, Chile, Argentina, all over Latin American. This place is legit. Like, amazing! I included a picture of the wedge salad because, although it is not "Latin," Sofrito's serving size is ridiculous. I had 1/4 of the salad...it's an entire head of lettuce! The flavors are rich and soulful on all their menu items. We had the soupa de pollo, vegetarian sandwich on Cuban bread, pollo a la brazas, yellow rice, black bean, fried plantains, and of course, the wedge salad. The ambience is great...wish the patio was open but the industrial feel is nice! Add this to your list if you want a non-traditional Florida dining experience. read more

Friendly staff. Servings are perfect size. Prices are fair. Food is a palatable for anybody who's looking for Latin American food. No funny sauces. Just food. The pargo fish was not fuzzy but an excellent piece of fish. The churrasco was better than other Latin places. I didn't really care for the alfajor. It was too soft and not enough dulce de leche. I'm going back today to try other items in the menu. Excited! read more

Not sure if I caught them on a bad day or what but the service was horrible. More than half the tables had not been cleaned from previous customers. Cachapa came out cold. Chicken soup had no flavor, they didn't bring the beer out until after I had already finished eating an empanada which was at least 15 mins after I ordered. Update: I received a response from the owner apologizing. While I appreciate her taking the time to respond I must point out that I was born and raised in Venezuela so I have been eating cachapas my whole life. Cachapas are NOT eaten cold/lukewarm. read more

This is a seriously amazing restaurant. It was authentic and inexpensive. The plates of food were huge. My four year old loved the place. It has a very community feel with board games and books to use while you wait. My pork with 3 sides was only 8.99. I could barely finish it all. Best hidden secret in Orlando! This place is a must! Update! We went again! It's so good. Try the coconut flan. It's to die for. read more

Sofrito was a good, fast casual dining experience. I would lean more towards casual than fast casual as nothing felt fat food about this place. The staff was friendly, and he food was good. If you haven't had Cuban before, just know it is authentic and that it is fairly bland because of it. Enjoy by yourself or with a friend! read more

This place was so good my wife and I went 2 nights in a row and strongly considered a 3rd night. First time I've hit the same place back to back in five years or longer. The staff is nice , but I wouldn't recommend this place 100 percent . I was staying in a hotel near by and door dashed dinner which was great . So I decided to go in person to eat breakfast the next day with my family before leaving Orlando .. .First time going in , one of the girls asked if it was our first time . We said yes so she gave us an option to order with them or on their pos. I ordered on the pos , payed for the food and even added a tip since it asked for the percentage of what tip we wanted to leave. I ended up leave 15%. Honestly I wouldn't of left that before if I knew how it was going to be. They have a sign saying you're family in there . But honestly they need actual waitresses . I order through the pos and part of the order was ham and cheese sandwiches . Gave us an option for add ons. I added eggs and avocado. Didn't give us an option if we wanted it inside the sand which or to the the side so assumed it was on the side . When we got our order they included the eggs and avocado inside the sandwich instead of on the side which is not what we wanted . So the sandwiches ended up tasting crappy and it was a mess since the eggs were over medium. On top of that they brought 3 out of 4 meals . Leaving my 7 year old daughter to wait for her breakfast . Finally when she got her waffles , they were cold and hard .. it's just nothing like how I expected . It was a nice place , staff were nice but not the experience I expected . I feel like service could be better . read more
