Wow! The food here is AMAZING! We had some really great drinks also. Highly recommend the Tripleta with a side of plantains. Couldn't have been happier with my selection. The ONLY issue was that the checkout process up front is SLOW. I am not sure if the young lady up front was new or not, but also the gentleman there was taking phone orders at the same time as ringing up people in person. If they could find a way to handle the rush a bit more smoothly, it's definitely 5 stars read more

Walked over from my hotel around 6:30 for dinner. very nice greeter and explained the menu. Ordered and sat at the bar and about 5 minutes later they brought the food. Excellent steak with potatoes, plantains and rice. There were tables inside and outside. Next time I'm in Orlando, i want to try more from their menu. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. read more

This was a very cute place. You order your food before you sit at the counter and they bring it to you. I highly recommend getting the croquettes they are amazing. The café con leche that they offer is more like a cappuccino and the arepa mano was cold with the cheese not a slight but melted or warmed. Super cute place to have brunch or lunch with your friends or family. I would come back. read more

Very good food. Lost of choses. Staff was very helpful though they spoke little english. I didn't really care that I had to set down pick what I wanted, then go to the counter to order. read more

First time trying Cuban and South American food-this place is amazing! You CANNOT go wrong with any of the empanadas and the roast pork! Will definitely be returning if I'm ever in the Orlando area. read more

Everything I got was delicious. I live about two hrs from here and I took home one of each empanadas and tried the arepas. Oh my every thing I ordered was authentic to its culture. I will be back when I'm back in town. read more

Great place, food amazing, very good price. My family of 5 had the most amazing breakfast here. The service is amazing. The only thing I would recommend is to sit people first and have a regular sitdown experience. Having to order before sitting down is off putting to people like me. I think the majority of people would agree. I almost left before ordering. Thank God my wife persuaded me to stay and give them the chance. It was well worth it and we will definitely be back. read more

Excellent Latin American food. Had the roast pork lunch and chicken Milanese with rice, beans, and sweet plantains. Passion fruit smoothie and cafe con lech were excellent too. read more

Rice and beans were bland and cold. Chicken breast was barely cooked, barely seasoned, and tasted like rubber. Paying service level restaurant prices for fast food. You order at a cashier, in which a tip is requested before you even get your food, and then you're given a table number. Pollo Tropical tastes better than this. I'm a local so tourists STAY AWAY. You're better going off to Havanas Cuban Cuisine across the street. They never disappoint and I regret giving Sofrito a chance instead of going to my old reliable. read more

Great selection of Latin fare. The empanadas were really good, as were the mini tequenos. Passion fruit juice was yummy. Solid mojito, for central Florida standards, Just a little heavy in the ice. Large portions so you can definitely share an entree and a few small plates. Make sure get dessert. The Nutella empanada and coconut flan were well worth the calories. read more

Good and clean. The servers were very helpful explaining the menu. The food was good, the only gripe that I had really was my churrasco was a bit on the small side, it was really more like a baby churrasco. The taste was good. The other thing is i ordered medium temp, and it came me out more like medium well. Everything else was good tho. read more

Fantastic food! The good people working here are very helpful (I left my reading glasses at the hotel). I was craving empanadas and they delivered! read more

Excellent food. Price was good. Staff was friendly. We would come here again in a heartbeat. Arepas were amazing.

Warm welcome from friendly staff, great menu and pricing, and AMAZING food! I had the Cachapa with beef and fried plantains and a Papa Rellena (for an appetizer). We we seated right away and the food came out quickly. It looks like you can sit outside in warm weather on their beautiful patio. Until then , they have a sweet dining area with lots of seating. I am looking forward to returning in the future. read more

As we were leaving to head home, I found Sofrito's on Yelp! I'm so glad we decided to stop. The food here is delicious! The guava empanadas are just the right amount of guava and cheese. One of the kids chicken Cuban empanadas came out open, they quickly brought out another one stating that when they open, the meat may get too done. Also had the chicken with yellow rice and black beans, plantains and a salad. The flavor in the rice and beans was absolutely great! The staff here is helpful and attentive also. Prices are good! Win-win situation! read more

Excellent food and friendly staff. Had the churrasco steak, cooked perfectly, papa regena was tasty, and empanadas were delicious. Defenitely will make the trip back to Orlando for this food. #lovesofrito read more

We visited this place on our first day here. I was extremely excited to try their different empanadas. Their sandwiches sounded amazing. First thing we tried was the Colombian empanadas and it was amazing. The Argentinian Empanada sounded extremely good but when we got it it wasn't fresh and we both leaned over to the Colombian. We also tried the stuffed potato and that was AMAZING! Each one of us ordered different items, the best plate our of 5 was the Shrimp with the Garlic sauce and white rice. Runner up was the Columbian Burger which was extra tasty!!! I ordered the classic Cuban Sandwich but it was a thumbs down for me. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be hot or cold. The staff is very friendly and very fluent in Spanish and English which helps a lot!! The place was pretty clean and seemed relax and good to have dinner with our family. We also tried each and every dessert on the menu, they were all amazingly good. My favorite was the 3 Leches Cake. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu. read more

Ordered the Churrasco (skirt steak) with white rice, Yuca, sweet plantains. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh! Their chimchurri sauce was also very tasty. The staff was friendly. We will definitely stop back in the next time that we are in the area. read more

We were in Orlando for a week and this was hands down our favorite meal. I had the roast pork with white rice and black beans. The pork was juicy and tender, and the flavor was amazing! My husband had the Pabellón Criollo with white rice and red beans. I don't know what they put it in but it's delicious. We finished every last bite, and we wish they had a restaurant in California! read more

I have been in this place twice and it's okay. Not the best food but it's not bad either.. it's pricey but they are very well located. You have to order and pay before you get serve. They bring you the food. It takes a little bit too long to bring you the food.. but they have a lot of option in the menu. If you love empanadas they have Argentinian, Colombian and Venezuela style. The customer service could be better but they are also understaff so that doesn't really help. The decoration is very nice and clean! read more

The Churraaco was recommended so I ordered it. It was very good. Meat cooked nicely. The plantains were the best I've ever had and I really liked the red beans. I also tried the pandebono empanada which I guess is Colombian cheese bread. Eat it while it's warm, it's better that way. read more

Personally, I am not one to write reviews nor judge my food to any extent, however, for this restaurant I had to. The system is very strange in the way that you need to pay for your food as well as tip the restaurant before you even get the food. We paid $150 for 4 plates which I find completely outrageous and would only expect the absolute best from this food. We ordered and sat down and the food was out in practically 3 minutes. Many may find this as a good service, but it truly is not. There is no way that 4 plates are ready so fast. Not only that, the food itself was cold and even raw. I did not like this food at all and I truly do not recommend eating at this establishment. read more

We were staying in one of the Disney Resorts and were looking for a reasonable priced place to have a decent dinner after days of junk food at the parks. This was a great selection. We were able to order online and pick it up. We order a tripleta, a pernil sandwich and a Pabellon criollo. Everything was delicious but the tripleta was AMAZING! read more

This place is the bomb! The Venezuelan beef and cheese empanadas were delicious!!! The pelis arepa amazing, loved the garlic sauce and fantastic coffee made with an espresso coffee machine.
