I visited Florida on vacation. There were four of us and we visited Sofrito Latin Cafe. The reviews were raving at 4.5 stars on Yelp. The food was served one meal at a time with 10 minutes in between. We certainly did not eat dinner together. The food was tasteful, but the service was AWFUL at best. If you have time to waste and like eating alone, this is the place for you. No idea how to run a restaurant. read more

Superb food. We did takeout after a long day at the theme parks, getting a large, rich Venezuelan corn pancake stuffed with homemade melted cheese, a half chicken baked in a variety of herbs with a green garlic dipping sauce, a huge kale salad with a bunch of ingredients, a hot piping beef empanada fresh out of the oven, tres leches cake, and coconut flan. All were excellent, a fun variety of tastes, and ready in ten minutes for all of $38 (portions so large we had leftovers despite being ravenous.). Place was popular but moved fast. Definitely worth repeat visits. read more

My American friend who is a picky eater suggested we go here to eat lunch, as he had dined here before. As a Latina, I thought the food was just okay. I understand my bias. Personally the portion for my meal, Venezuelan Patacon(pork) and tequeños, was significantly smaller than other restaurants I've gone to for the same price. Friend ordered pork with fries and white rice(like I said he's picky), rice was bland and pork was okay but could use more flavor. If you are not familiar with Latin food, go for it. If you are Latino and enjoy family owned hole-in-the-wall restaurants as I do, I'd recommend eating somewhere else. Also not trusting that particular friend's food choices anymore. read more

We where just there on a Thursday morning. Excellent service, as well as the cuban coffee and the café con leche. Food was delicious but the service was horrible, customer service wasn't good. The system was antiquated you have to make your order with a cashier that had a bad attitude, also tip the server before without to know how will be the service ( I'm considered myself a good tiper 20%). If you want to add something you have go back make the line to pay for whatever you add to your order. If the restaurant can fix that system will have more repetitive customer. But once again food was delicious. read more

Was in town for a conference and looking for delicious food options. This place popped up on my yelp search and with all the great reviews, I had to try. The line was out the door when I arrived but everyone was in good spirits and looking at the menu as they waited to order. The inside is beautiful and has a very welcoming vibe. Customer service was amazing. Everyone I encountered was very friendly. The gentleman who helped my indecisive self order was extremely patient and offered some great suggestions. I ended up getting the Churrasco with plantains, yellow rice and black beans for dinner and tres leches for dessert. I totally meant to take a pic but I was hungry and completely forgot when the food arrived. Everything was well seasoned, the steak was tender and the tees leches was the perfect size to satisfy my sweet tooth but not overindulge. I'll definitely come back if I find myself back in the area. read more

I have been to this restaurant several times and one thing I can say is that the owner does care a lot about a great experience. After posting a prior review and it not being so great the owner personally reach out to me to make things right. She send me a gift card for my family and I to go and have a dinner experience on us. It was on disclose the time and date that I would return to actually have a meal on her. We decided to go tonight since it was our anniversary. The restaurant was busy and almost no seat was empty. We ordered our food at the host stand. He sat down and waited for our meal and drinks. I ordered the beer flight for my husband and a sangria for myself. The beer flight was brought to the table with no label so we couldn't tell which beer was which. The sangria didn't taste bad but it wasn't the best I've ever had. It didn't taste like the fruit I've been soaked in alcohol which usually goes if that fruity flavor. It looks like the fruits were just dropped into the red wine. I explained to one of the gentleman at the bar that I didn't care for the sangria and if I could have something else instead. He offered me another drink which I didn't care for at the time. Or a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. We chose the desert. Our appetizers were brought to the table a few minutes later. We ordered the Venezuelan empanada with chicken, one with cheese and a Cuban empanada with beef. The Cuban empanada came Looking pretty small for the price tag of $2.75. It also broke open on one side and looked a little burnt on that piece. We asked them to replace it and they did. However when they brought it out it had chicken in it not beef. We ordered ham croquettes for the table. When they were delivered to the table they looked like they were not rolled tight enough because they we're coming apart. Our main entrées came a few minutes later. For my son I ordered the Cuban Sandwich. It looked fine and put together well. I tried a piece of the pork from his sandwich and it didn't have much flavor. You're my husband I ordered the Colombian burger which she said was very good, and was presented nicely as well. The french fries did not seem fresh. My assumption is that they were very busy and prepared a large batch of french fries at one time. They were slightly warm and could use a bit of salt. For myself I ordered Lomo Satado which is a Peruvian dish I am very familiar with. Usually it has an abundance of sauce on the plate that way the french fries get submerged in the sauce and you eat it with the steak in the rice. The presentation was mediocre. There was barely sauce on the plate so the french frids stayed pretty dry. This particular dish definitely could've used the extra sauce for the french fries since like stated before they weren't Very good to begin with. The dish itself, meaning the steak was seasoned and taste very good. The rice taste fresh, soft and fluffy. When we were done eating we asked the same gentleman if we could have dessert. We ordered the churros and coconut flan. The two rolls came out literally seconds later. Obviously they were already made and probably sitting there for people to just grab and bring up to the table. They were soaked in oil. When I say so but I truly mean barely finger touching it pushed out oil. Instead of being light and fluffy like they're supposed to be they were super crunchy and overcooked. Probably the worst ones I have ever had in my life. being originally from Miami you know that I have had a lot of churros in my life. The coconut flan was delicious. I'm not a fan of coconut but I decided to give it a try. The coconut flakes on top didn't need to be there honestly because it added an artificial taste. The taste of the flan was actually very good and I enjoyed the liquid on the bottom. Overall the few times that I've been there I noticed that this restaurant lacks consistency. Sometimes you'll get a good meal and sometimes you won't. I have been there on days when the restaurant is not busy and days that it is busy and no matter what the chance of you getting a good meal is the luck of the draw. Take your chances when it's good it's great when it's bad it's terrible. I think it wouldn't hurt to take a look at The staff Hiring people who care about the integrity and presentation of the food. It's not just about getting food from the kitchen to the table in a timely manner it's about getting quality and consistent food every single time. read more

My family and I are on vacation to Orlando from different parts of the country. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal, except for me. I got the vegetarian main event with rice, beans, and tostones, with a spinach and cheese empanada to start. Just based on my order, you can probably tell that I don't eat meat. Empanada was great - nothing crazy, but not bad. My entree vegetables were steamed(probably in the microwave) without a drop of oil, or any seasoning. Just. Steamed. Vegetables. The tostones were actually so beyond overcooked, they were inedible. The rice and sauce were actually really good. Flavorful, seasoned well, cooked well. Beyond every other disappointment listed above, what was the most disappointing of my entire experience, was eating some of the black beans with my rice(that is advertised GF and V), and finding multiple hunks of pork in the beans. I get it. I understand that traditionally beans are cooked with lard/animal fat, and pieces of meat. But please don't advertise something a certain way, if it's not going to be served that way. Highly disappointed in my experience. read more

I came here for lunch I liked the food it was great. You are required to order your food, pay and then it's brought to you at your table I didn't think it was that bad till you needed a refill and have to stand back in line to order another drink or after lunch you wanted dessert and have stand in line again and order. Now I understand this is typical for a fast food restaurant per day but this is actually a really nice restaurant gives of the impression of table service which they do not offer. I must say tho the food was very good I had a corn tortilla with plantains beef and cheese and croquette even the passion fruit juice I ordered was amazing ... read more

Went here after a long day visiting the mouse. This place could be great, but when the staff's attitude is they're doing you a favor by being there it turns me off. I hate it when a restaurant should be sit down, but is walk up, order and grab a number. It's not Chik Fil A...why???!!!! But a lot of Latino restaurants do this!! Why my people, WHY??!! Then the food came out a different times. And when I say different I mean 30 minutes from my plate until my wife's plate came out. My wife ordered the chuleta. Apparently they must have butchered the pig in the back because I was done with my food, after waiting for a long while for her's to come out and asking three times. If it's a specialty item that takes that much time, warn your hungry ass customer! Lastly, I wanted to order a Tres Leches cake and a cafe con leche, back up to the line I go, where I was told by the cashier there were closing (it was 8:45 and they close at 9) so I probably couldn't order it, but I should check with the bar. So I went to the bar and the bartender took care of me, albeit a little reluctantly. So why 3 stars? The food is good. It's not great like another spot we found (see my other reviews) but it was above average. The service however needs to improve. I shouldn't have to sit in line for 15 minutes with 4 people in front of me. You could increase your volume if you went the server route, and increase the amount of each tab with drinks and desserts. read more

I don't know if it's fair or not to write a review based on the fact I didn't eat at Sofrito but the attempt was made. They serve Breakfast, lunch and dinner but have very different menus at very specific times. So here it goes. If you plan to have breakfast or any egg related products on a SUNDAY after 11 AM do not go. I arrived at 11:15 AM on Sunday and no breakfast available, look a business has its policies, I respect that. But it doesn't mean I agree with that on a Sunday morning the breakfast menus is gone. Very disappointed to leave this review. But the management at this restaurant lacks customer service. We came to this restaurant 2 days ago. When we finished eating we ordered desert and paid. Desert took a long time to come out and my wife and completely forgot about it and we left. We came back 2 days later to eat again (because the food is very good). I brought it up to the manager, and her response was "there is nothing she could do". Basically calling me a liar after spending close to $100 on 2 seperate occasions. My wife was very upset of the lack of customer service... We had to leave gratuity before we ate. We tipped good without even knowing the type of service they offer. Because there is no service, pay before, serve your own drinks, etc. Anyways, sadly... This will probably be the last time I come to this place, untill the 25 year old manager learns manners and how to treat clients. I could only imagine how she is with her staff. read more

Food: 7/10 Service: 3/10 (Missed an item) Value: 6/10 Ambience: 7/10 TL;DR - If you order take-out, check to make sure everything is there before leaving. Food is mediocre overall. First time ordering here, and they managed to mess it up, even though it's not busy at all. We ordered half chicken and yellow rice with some soup, salad, and fried plantains, and Colombia empanada, but the plantains were missing when we unpacked the take-out. Chicken was tender and savory, rice and salad were fine, soup was meh, and the empanada was so tiny (felt kind of rip off). No comment on the invisible fried plantain of course. Probably won't order here again, but it was a nice change of pace with the failed service and all. read more

I'm a fan because of the Venezuelan empanada, the atmosphere and the service. 1) Do try the empanadas. I ordered the Venezuelan empanada, and it was DELICIOUS. (Empanadas are something that I HAVE to try if I'm at a place, and they offer it.) 2) The atmosphere is so chic, modern, intimate but also fast food-like. A very cool twist on things. It's a good family-friendly environment, but also a good place for one of your side pieces. ;) (Or your main piece. xD) 3) Everyone was super friendly. They always came to check up on my table. Other than that, the Cuban sandwich and the churrasco were just okay. I only ordered that because I kept seeing Yelp reviews about how good these items were, especially the churrasco. For me, the service, atmosphere and empanada are what saved my opinion in order to give it a "4 stars." read more

We visited Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at Disney Springs, and this was definitely one of my favorite meals while in Orlando. We started with the White Peach Sangria, the Church Lady Deviled Eggs, and the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp. Now those shrimp deserve their own moment. They're tossed in house-made hot honey and served with remoulade, and they were SO good. Sweet, a little heat, salty from the bacon... just a really good combination. For dinner, we shared Art's Famous Fried Chicken and the Meatloaf Main Plate. The fried chicken is buttermilk-brined for 24 hours and came with creamy mashed potatoes and a cheddar drop biscuit. The chicken was seasoned, juicy, crispy... exactly what fried chicken is supposed to be. And the meatloaf surprised me because I don't usually go somewhere like this thinking, "Let me order the meatloaf." But I'm glad we did. It came with mashed potatoes, Southern green beans, and that cheddar drop biscuit. Comfort food done RIGHT. Everything we had was good. Not "it was okay" good. I mean we were sitting there eating, sharing plates, and talking about how good everything was. And apparently it was good enough for me to completely forget I do food reviews and should probably take pictures first. Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at Disney Springs... I'll definitely be back.

We were staying at a Holiday Inn near Disney Springs so we decided to come here for a late dinner. One of the best decisions made here. We did a late night walk through the shopping center and landed here around 9:50 pm. It was pretty late and we worried there would be no seats but we were seated promptly. The establishment was very ambient, cozy, and well furnished. I liked the warm, glowing atmosphere of the restaurant. The server was extremely polite and took our order quite soon. We were starving after a long day but the food came out in around 20ish minutes which wasn't too bad. The serving sizes were quite huge. We didn't expect this much food for two portions. For $34 per plate, the dishes were large and came with a large helping of sides. The fried chicken was extremely crispy and juicy. They originally wanted to serve the food quickly/more fresh so they served a chicken thigh to me after on a second plate. They also forgot my substitution of Mac n cheese for mash potatoes so I got a free helping of mash which was sweet. The pickled cucumber was light and fresh which tasted great with the heavier chicken. The potatoes were a little heavy and I wish came with gravy, but still delicious. I really loved the Mac n cheese and finished that up. The chicken steak was also delicious with the grits but a little too salty. Wish they added the grits to the side for me to dip as it became a little too much at times. It was better to eat it with a side of potatoes to balance the flavor. The broccolini was sautéed perfectly and delicious, could eat a whole plate of those alone. The biscuits weren't bad but tasted better eaten with the potatoes. The food was a little heavy but so so good. We had to take half of the food to our hotel and ate it the next day for dinner as it was way too much food for one meal. Even after microwaving it, the food was just as delicious and flavorful. We spent about $80 but had so much food leftover. An expensive dinner, but everything tasted amazing. Would definitely come back if I had the chance.

It is a family owned restaurant founded by New York natives who noticed a gap in Central Florida for high quality, authentic New York style diner food. The original location opened on Universal Boulevard in the Lake Cay area, near Universal Orlando and SeaWorld. The restaurant quickly became popular with both locals and vacationers looking for an alternative to the standard hotel breakfast buffet. Following the success of the Universal Boulevard location, the owners expanded to additional Central Florida locations, including Lake Buena Vista and Dr. Phillips. The Diner has gained attention for its creative twists on classic comfort food. One of its signature dishes is the Bennyffle a combination of Eggs Benedict served over a waffle. The menu also features specialty cereal pancakes, including Fruity Pebbles and Oreo Crunch, along with classics such as chicken and waffles. In July 2026, the Universal Boulevard location even became the center of a viral national news story after a family of seven including children reportedly walked out on a $298.47 breakfast bill. The story highlighted how hard family businesses work and how an incident like this can affect them. I recently met up with a group of friends at The Diner for brunch. The Diner can get crowded, and they do not take reservations. I am grateful that one of my friends arrived very early to wait for a table for our group. The diner offers a selection of coffee drinks as well as alcoholic beverages, making it a festive spot for brunch. Since I had a long day ahead, I stuck with coffee and ordered the signature chicken and waffles. The combination was delicious. The crispy, savory fried chicken was the perfect partner to the soft, buttery waffles, while the warm, sweet maple syrup contrasted to the salty chicken. It was a very large portion and I really enjoyed my meal. The service was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating when we needed several separate checks. I loved my visit to The Diner, and the experience was made even better by sharing brunch with a great group of friends. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.

It is like the farmer but instead of apple butter it has gravy and it also has an egg. They also have some pretty good waffles, which is what I get for my kid when I take him here. Their tea and coffee selection is robust. The only downside is that as they have gotten bigger and they have lost some of their personal touches. They used to ask me funny questions and would use that to help find you to give you your order. They might ask who your favorite superhero was and call you that way. Sofrito Latin Café offers a delightful escape into the vibrant and rich world of Latin American flavors. Located in a cozy, inviting space, the restaurant captures the essence of Latin cuisine with a modern twist. The atmosphere is casual yet lively, with bright decor that instantly transports you to a warm, tropical destination. The menu is a celebration of Latin American staples, featuring a mix of classic and innovative dishes. The mofongo is a standout--fried plantains mashed to perfection and paired with savory meats or seafood, making for a comforting and flavorful dish. The arroz con pollo (rice with chicken) is another favorite, with tender, seasoned chicken and a perfectly cooked rice base that's rich in flavor. For appetizers, the tostones (crispy fried green plantains) served with a tangy garlic dipping sauce are addictive, and the empanadas are equally delicious, with a crispy exterior and savory fillings. The salsa bar offers a nice variety of dipping sauces that complement the bold flavors throughout the meal. One of Sofrito's highlights is its cocktail selection, with expertly crafted mojitos, margaritas, and their signature Sofrito Punch, all featuring fresh ingredients and a strong Latin flair. It's the perfect way to start the meal or end it with a sweet note. Service is warm and attentive, with staff offering helpful recommendations and a genuine enthusiasm for the food they serve. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes, making it a great option for both casual outings and special occasions. Overall, Sofrito Latin Café is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the bold, flavorful world of Latin cuisine. With a mix of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a welcoming ambiance, it's easy to see why this place is a favorite for many. read more

Staff at Sofrito have asked me to write a review. Here it is: We was attracted by the name "Sofrito", especially because my two companions are actually Puerto Rican and they were craving for Puerto Rican food. First thing we asked was for the famous Mofongo, they said that they have it. We ordered a Shrimp mofongo and a Pork mofongo, myself I ordered Roast Pork. While we wait for it we got some empanadas that were delicious, and other appetizers really good. When we got the entrees there was the problem. The mofongo was cold and we doubt about it that it was made on premises. About my roast pork, I was not able to eat it. I try a couple of pieces and I left it in the plate almost untouched. I have never had such a hard rock pieces of pork with a microwave reheated test. Because I am honest i told the server right away. We ended up not eaten our entrees because my companions had similar issues. I was drinking beer and my companions coconut soda. Because the bad test of the food was in our mouth before we left, we ask for one coconut soda to wash it down. We paid our bill in full, even if we did not eat the food, and we left. Can you believe that they rushed out asking us to pay for the last can of soda? Obviously this people does not have any restaurant experience ! Any restaurant if you leave the food untouched will have some kind of compensation, some others will not even charge you for the food you did not eat !. But they didn't care ! they still want to get paid 1,50 for the soda. UNBELIEVABLE!!! read more

Lunch at Sofritos was nothing short of spectacular, just as it always is. From the moment we stepped in, the inviting atmosphere and the rich aromas of the kitchen set the tone for what would be a delightful culinary experience. We kicked off our meal with some refreshing bubbly that sparkled in our glasses, adding a celebratory touch to the occasion. The standout dish was undoubtedly the delightful croquetas. Each bite was a perfect blend of creamy, savory goodness, and they were complemented by a zesty dipping sauce that intensified the flavors. But the real highlight was the amazing arepa. Stuffed to perfection, it was a harmonious mix of textures and flavors that transported us straight to culinary bliss. The warmth of the arepa coupled with the fresh ingredients made it feel like a warm embrace on a plate. As we enjoyed our light lunch, we exchanged stories and laughter, feeling rejuvenated and energized for the rest of the day. There's something incredibly uplifting about a meal shared with good company, and nothing beats the vibrant charm of Sofritos to kickstart our afternoon. #Florida #Orlando #yelpelite #sofritoslatincafe read more

I went to Sofrito Latin Cafe for lunch today and had an incredible experience. This place knows how to make real Latin food that hits all the right spots - everything was fresh, flavorful, and made you feel like family. I tried the churrasco steak with yuca and maduros. The steak was perfectly grilled with a nice char on the outside but still juicy inside. It came with this amazing chimichurri sauce that had just the right amount of garlic and herbs. The yuca was creamy and buttery, and those sweet plantains were caramelized to perfection. Even though it was busy during lunch rush, the energy was positive and welcoming. What impressed me was the attention to detail. My coffee came in a proper cup and saucer, the bread was warm, and everything was seasoned perfectly. You can taste the difference when people take pride in their cooking. For $19, I got a huge meal that was restaurant quality but felt homemade. I'm already telling my friends about this place - it's exactly what Orlando needs more of. read more

We visited this place three years ago and had a fantastic experience, so we were excited to return. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. When we ordered lunch to go, we encountered several issues during pickup, but we assumed it was just a one-time problem. We decided to give it another try and came in for dinner today. Sadly, things only got worse. Winni took our order incorrectly, was noticeably rude, and overcharged us. When we asked her to correct the mistake, she responded with an attitude rather than an apology. When the food finally arrived, it was extremely bland and lacked any flavor. To top it off, we ordered dessert, but it was never brought out--we had to specifically ask for it. Overall, this visit was nothing like our first and left us very disappointed. We do not recommend this place anymore. read more

For starters, don't expect a server, you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Ordered a steak dish and the pice was small and dry after I wanted it cooked medium. The small piece I got was $15 for lunch. *Important - Do not take your significant other to this place! Gentleman at the counter kept pushing salsa dance lessons and after 3 times of my wife telling him no thank you, he asked if she was Puerto Rican and then followed that up with asking if her and I were together. The food came out at very different times -- there was about a 15-minute gap between the beans and the chicken, so our group couldn't really enjoy the meal together. We were also surprised to see automatic gratuity added for a party of only five, especially considering the slow service. Between the low food quality, poor timing, and service issues, the experience was disappointing. The Lomo Saltado was the one bright spot. Will not return.

The guacamole is seriously to die for, and the salsas were just as good. I had the mango-avocado ensalada, which was fresh, light, and somehow still really filling. And the carne asada and al pastor? Chef's kiss. So flavorful and cooked perfectly! Uriel was absolutely wonderful! He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The rest of the staff was just as welcoming, and the restaurant itself was impeccably clean. As someone visiting from Southern California, my Mexican food standards are pretty high, and Frontera Cocina definitely delivered. I would 100% come back the next time I'm in Florida. Highly recommend!

But I was genuinely excited for this meal. I'm a Rick Bayless fan and own all his cookbooks, so there was a little more anticipation involved than "please bring me food." I live in Texas and know my way around Mexican food and Tex-Mex, but I came in expecting something different. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was good, and we were well taken care of. The food, overall, was just okay for me, with a few highlights. The queso fundido was excellent. Great flavor, plus those long strings of cheese that turn eating into a small arts-and-crafts project. There were three of us, and it arrived with exactly three tortillas. The tortilla-to-person math was flawless. The tortilla-to-cheese ambition needed work. We asked for more, and they were quickly brought over, so consider this your friendly tip to request extras. I didn't need a huge entrée, so I went with the chicken flautas. These were really good, although the chicken had an unexpectedly creamy texture. Not what I anticipated, but I liked it. My bigger issue was the pile of extras on top. At some point, I wanted to politely ask the toppings to step aside so I could taste my flautas. Also, try the mango-infused iced tea. Really refreshing in the Florida heat, and one of my favorite parts of the meal. Apparently, I came for Rick Bayless and left thinking about tea. I'm glad I tried it. Beautiful setting, good service, excellent queso, and some enjoyable bites, but the meal as a whole didn't leave me eager to return. With so many other restaurants to explore, I'd probably try somewhere else next time.

Good texture. beef: I loved it but others may not. We got to choose doneness and I got medium well. Chewy but nice crust. Normally bbq doesn't ask so I was very happy. ribs: decent. not too much to say. Soft. Corn (side): crunchy corn with cheese was good, though patties were thicc. Little too much for me. ASK FOR THEIR SAUCES. THEY ARE FIRE. They had a spicy, a creamy, and a salsaish one. All 3 were so good. I loved it. especially the spicy one. Decent value for price. For lunch we ordered the ceviche. Thank goodness we shared it because it's massive! Sweet potatoes, fried calamari, and tostones all came with it. We barely finished it between the two of us. Our friends ordered the prime rib and the traditional dish of Cazuela de frijoles. The prime rib steak was pretty fatty. But they ate most of it. The traditional dish was also huge! She had a lot of leftovers to take home. While we were eating a man came in to preform on the stage. He played guitar and sang. It wasn't too loud, and we were right next to the stage. Our waiter was very nice. He was also making the drinks. I had a passion fruit juice. It was delicious but I think they use something processed, out of a plastic bottle that they add water to... It was conveniently located nearby and turned out to be a wonderful breakfast stop. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and relaxing, which was exactly what we needed in the morning. The staff gave us such a warm welcome and were very patient while we took our time looking through the menu and deciding what to order. For drinks, we ordered the 3 Mocha, a cappuccino, and a matcha latte, and everything tasted great. The mocha in particular was excellent, it had such a rich, naturally delicious flavor that it honestly didn't need any additional sweetness. For breakfast, we ordered the Breakfast Club, Avocado & Egg Salad Sandwich, and Mushroom Avocado & Vegan Sausage Breakfast Burrito. Everything was delicious, and the portions were excellent and very satisfying. There was a great variety of flavors across the dishes, and everyone at the table found something they really enjoyed. Overall, Moma's Cafe was a great breakfast experience from start to finish. Between the cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff, delicious drinks, and generous portions, it's definitely a place we would happily return to the next time we're in the area. There were at least 8 parties that came and left because they didn't want to wait. I guess for a business that's a good problem to have. ‍ Giving three stars because the ambiance was nice, cashier seemed friendly, menu had a nice selection for brunch, speciality drinks/coffee. Next time I'm in town and try the food I can give additional two stars if the food is worth it.
