Oh. My. Goodness. You're not going to find a better restaurant, with a better owner, or better, fresher food. It is SO fresh and delicious, and it is even a buffet no less! How is that even possible?! It is a small buffet but has a large variety and everything is INCREDIBLE. Fresh pita bread comes with it, along with your choice of a freshly grilled chicken or beef kabob that is also incredible. Everything is seasoned so well, yet not much is too spicy for those that like it mild - just really flavorful. I was expecting a quick kabob "fast casual" plate type of a meal and instead I got a gourmet experience. The night I went the owner was there and I even felt like I was getting the special treatment as he explained everything. Upon entering the restaurant, the owner greets you, shakes your hands, ask if you're a first timer! First impression lasts! Then he explains how the buffet works. For dinner, it's $11.99 per person for one round or $13.99 for "eat all you can". The hummus is the best I've tasted. Didn't even know that hummus can taste this good! The baba ganoush is equally good. The pita bread is fresh, crispy & soft. The buffet comes with one type of gyro or kebab. We had the ground beef Kebab & gyro which were both superb. Fresh, not dry, moist & very flavorful. The lamb stew is fantastic. The chicken wings however was quite bland & dry. The only thing I think they can improve is offering some type of vegetables. The hot buffet consists of three meats, one rice & 2 soups, no veges. The only veges they have is salad. If they improve their spread & offer more hot food, this place can be really good. The food here is AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and take the time to try Sofra Kebob. My girlfriend and I were headed to the movies and decided to stop for a meal before. I randomly looked on the Yelp map in the area of the theater and notice a kebab place. From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home. Ray introduced himself and took us through the entire buffet explaining each dish. He then started preparing the kebab of our choice while we stuffed ourself with delicious Turkish food. I almost wasn't going to be able to eat my kebab after delighting in the rest of the buffet. But after one taste of the tender chicken kebab there was no stopping. Thanks Ray! I will say I was pleasantly surprised last night with Sofra Kabob House. The greeting from the owner/host was warm and welcoming. He explained all of the dishes to us and offered to make us fresh beef or chicken kabobs. We had one of each and they were amazingly good. My favorite item on the buffet was the goat stew. DELICIOUS! The next best thing would have to be the baba ghanoush. It was fresh and full of flavor. Definitely give them a try if you're looking for a good Mediterranean restaurant. The food was a buffet with your choice of kebabs, and fresh pita brought to your table. We were impressed with the variety of items and it was all great. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. In deference to COVID, disposable gloves were provided while serving yourself from the buffet. Plates were styrofoam with plastic utensils. There is takeout/delivery from a menu. Wow. I mean, fantastic. Like others have mentioned, the owner greeted us like family and took great care to ensure we had a great experience. The food was really good. Pita was fresh and the kabobs were tasty. The other items on the buffet were equally good, and I especially liked the couscous.....and both versions of hummus......and this kidney bean concoction....and the sliced lamb.......and so on. Even my picky son enjoyed it. Oh.....and the falafel was some of the best we've had, and we eat a lot of Mediterranean food.......so we know our stuff. Ever since my visit to Turkey a few years ago, I am always searching for good Turkish restaurants here in the USA. This is the best I've been to so far! I love the fact that it's a buffet and you can try a little of everything. There are various items on the salad-bar side, such as purple cabbage, cauliflower, couscous, garbanzo bean salad, hummus, and babaganoush. The meat side had a few different styles of chicken, beef, and lamb, all of which were so tender and juicy, and there were 2 soups to choose from as well. Plus, everyone gets to choose from there own kebab of either chicken or lamb, which is brought to your table nice and hot with some pita bread. The owner himself brought it to us, and he is very friendly! He said he is from Eastern Turkey. The sign on the front window that says "authentic" is no lie! read more

The food is decent (heated, but not fresh), but nothing special, and their buffet is much smaller than average. They're new, so their lack of front-end service is understandable, but the pricing is rather vague unless you ask specifically, though the owner is very hospitable. Apparently they charge $12 for a single plate, $14 for all you can eat, and extra for fountain drinks, which you have to get yourself... It's pretty average all around, perhaps a bit pricey for what you get, but the lack of service really does hurt the place, especially when the electronic payment asks for a tip., Hopefully they'll fix the service issue in the future (they seem to be hiring), and maybe properly hand out menus or explain pricing. read more
