This deli is unassuming and easy to pass by being located inside a Citgo gas station. But, trust…read moreme, you want to make a point to get yourself there! When you enter the gas station store turn right, walk ahead and you'll end up at the counter for Belkis. Fast, super friendly service. Great portion size and prices. Exceptional food! No contest the BEST cuban sandwich I have ever had. Exemplary meat/filling to bread ratio. The bread was fresh and perfectly crisp with garlic (I'm pretty certain) grilled onto the outside of it. The meat was tender and not at all greasy. There was the perfect amount of ham to pork to cheese to pickles to mustard. All around there was not a single thing I did not love about my cuban! I also got a very large portion of plantains. They were hot and cooked to the best texture. The Cuban and the plantains cost me $22 and supplied me with two and a half meals.

I know this place already has a lot of hype but it lived up to it imo. In the back of a gas…read morestation, this Cuban woman made the best Cuban sandwich I have personally had. She was very friendly and made it fresh in front of you. The smell of roasted garlic when she is making it makes you so ready to dig in. The sandwich was also huge and well worth the $15 price. Only thing I'd say is I was in need of a little more spice or hot sauce, which is more on me than her. Definitely coming back

The minute I knew I would be back in the area, I was determined to eat here again. The food was just as great as the first time. I had the spicy cuban sandwich and perfect. Although, I couldn't manage to eat it all. Now I understand why a nearby table ordered the same thing and split it between two people. The young woman that was working was an absolute sweetheart.

The food here is honestly outstanding. The burritos are huge, flavorful, and easily some of the…read morebest I've had. The café con leche was also excellent--rich and perfectly made. From a food standpoint alone, I'd absolutely come back. That said, the experience was a bit confusing and ended on a frustrating note. We weren't asked whether our order was for here or to go, and after ordering, our group of five sat down (we pulled together five chairs) and waited for our food. Despite that, everything came out in to-go packaging. When we walked in, we noticed other tables dining in had bottles with three different types of salsa available. However, we were only given a very small portion in a to-go container. I went up to grab a pineapple Jarrito and asked if we could use the salsa bottles since we were eating there. Instead, I was told no and that we had already been given to-go salsa--and they also tried to charge me extra for additional salsa. What made it more frustrating was that when I explained we were dining in, I was told that we had asked for our food to go, which wasn't the case. No one in our group was asked, and we had clearly sat down to eat inside. It felt unnecessarily rigid and dismissive, especially since we brought in a group of five and spent over $70. The food was genuinely great, but the lack of communication and flexibility on the service side made the experience feel awkward and disappointing. I'd still recommend the place for the food, but hopefully the service improves.
