This is the strongest endorsement of a cookie shop that I've ever been a witness to. I ordered a vegan triple chocolate cookie, a regular triple chocolate cookie, and two chicken and cheese empanadas. Everything was delicious. The empanada crust was nice and flakey. The regular chocolate chip was my favorite of the two because of the chocolate chip melt factor. The vegan cookie was delightfully chocolatey though. Soft, delicious, and come in a variety of just awesome flavors like tres leches, cheesecake, blue velvet, caramel pecan, and many many more. Banana pudding is also a must have!! After we left brunch a few blocks down we saw this cute little Cookie Shop across the street. We entered into a small, yet open space with two friendly employees (we later found out one was one of the owners). They ran down the list of the current flavors in the shop. My friend asked about their famous dulce de leche cookie and then they explained if the cookie that they're famous for was missing the sauce that's injected into the cookie! We decided to try the coconut pecan variety and it surely did not disappoint. It puts you in the mind of a white chocolate macadamia cookie with finely grated coconut in the batter, minus the white chocolate. Now this is my kind of cookie as I love pecans and coconut. This place makes the best macadamia cookies! I will never go to subways again. And you know what else? Do you know how hard it is to find a good croissant place to? I loved this place! We were greeted by a super friendly lady. She was super sweet and very accommodating. I got a Caramel latte, and it was super good! It had a perfect amount of sweetness and the espresso wasn't burnt (which I find a lot of baristas making this mistake).I also got a lemon Oreo cookie which was absolutely delicious. That was okay, I wanted to support my very local BOB (black owned businesses) The second time was okay, but the price was not. The dozen cookie price jumped from a good $12 to $15.50 in over a week. Now I know there are expenses and stuff, but a whole $3.50 increase for the same lack of cookie option? I just don't get it. I have never been to the store in person and always order via doordash. Although I have never been in person, the customer service I have experienced is beyond exceptional. The owner and staff really go above and beyond to satisfy the customers needs by reaching out when they are out of a specific flavor.
