A cool joint! The coffee was great - I loved the flan latte. And the black bean breakfast burrito was also quite delicious and hit the spot. The staff was kind and the vibe was chill. Minus one star because it got loud in there and it was hard to read or have a quiet conversation so we left. But I'll come back for another coffee to go!

Steak and avocado tacos were delicious! The outdoor patio was perfect for a beautiful March day.

I'm all for supporting local coffee shops / cafes and enjoy going to Soco for my occasional espresso or tea latte. Whenever I go, there's never a line or a madhouse like how Starbucks or Peet's can get. There's even a small parking lot behind! No need to worry about finding parking on the street. Staff is nice and always smiling. They also have non-dairy options too, if that's how you roll (cuz that's how I roll with the oat milk). It's quiet with an overall relaxing vibe. They also have some pastries/desserts; I think it would be great if they had more selection of pastries. Recently, I had the golden turmeric tea latte (with oat milk of course) and fat-free oat cake. Tea latte was yummy, good way to start my morning. The oat cake is dense and more on the harder side, but kept me full for a long time!

The queso fundido is generous with a good amount of chorizo. It's now served with hot corn tortillas. The elote is still one of our favorites with a nice spiciness and la crema. Our waiter was very attentive and professional, and overall we were pleased with our experience. We ordered: Menudo: This comes with a pork hock and loooooots of tripas. My limes were a bit dry, but aside from that the flavor was very spot on and it was very filling. Tres leches french toast: Yummmmm, delicious! I'm not sure how 'tres leches'-y it was, but definitely milky, moist, and crunchy on the outside. It worked for me! Conchas: Ok this actually blew me away. I'm used to conchas being dry and not very satisfying, but these literally stayed soft DAYS after I brought them home. The souffle topping on top covered the entire top of the concha and this was an absolute delight. Honestly, best conchas I've had in the US so far. I wouldn't mind coming here again and trying other items. Personally, the loudness of the "birthday music" (reggaeton) was a little much for a morning/brunch hour, but people seemed to enjoy the hype.

We were seated outdoors - the place closes at 1:30 and we got there around 12:50 - indoor tables full. The patio is shaded and comfortable. Service was prompt and courteous. The food arrived quickly. I had Joe's Special - a more unique scramble of eggs, ground beef, spinach and mushrooms with Asiago cheese and hash browns. The flavors were very well combined and everything tasted good. My son had the French Toast which came with 2 eggs and sausage as well: that's good was very good, but I continue to be disappointed in brunch spots that do not serve pure maple syrup - instead using your usual knock off breakfast syrup. It is a game changer for me and the food as a result suffers. No bubbles here with your breakfast, to be noted, if you like that with your brunch... but that is ok. All in all, good food, quick service, usual pricing (we paid $40 or so for our meals).

My boyfriend and I ordered wine, the artichoke dip, mussels, tagliatelle, 1/2 chicken, and bread pudding. There was a good variety of wine to choose from and the waitress was nice enough to give me a couple samples before ordering a full glass. We were surprised by the lemon / tangy flavor in the artichoke dip but really enjoyed it! We LOVED the mussels--this was a generous serving, and this was a great combination with the broth and sausage. The tagliatelle was clearly homemade and fresh, and the sauce was flavorful but light; the only thing I would change is the amount of peas / pea flavor. The chicken skin was perfectly crispy! Lastly, the bread pudding was literally baked fresh to the point where we almost couldn't order it. The staff told us it would be a bit of a wait, but when it took a little longer than expected, they continued to check in on us and whether we still wanted to wait. It was definitely worth it! It wasn't as sweet / cinnamon-y as other bread puddings that I've had, but was moist without being soggy and felt like a true homemade recipe. The ambiance was casual yet intimate, and despite being busy, didn't feel crowded or loud. We also appreciated that the wait staff didn't rush us out!

Should have taken a pic. Our waitress was cheerful and helpful and she didn't bother us even though we were the last customers in the house (my back was turned so I didn't even realize). Food was so tasty. Had a (large) omelet with cheddar cheese, sausage (the Cajun) and added spinach. Side of fruit was fresh. Biscuit (I had to take a picture!) was ginormous and delicious. This is a place that has perfected serving up tried and true favorites and don't mess with stuff that isn't broken. My bf ordered pancakes, bacon and eggs. I had my piece-meal "vegan special": side of (dry) toast, side of avocado, side of hashbrowns, and a fruit cup. The service was super friendly and FAST; the diner was bustling, noisy and smelled of all things breakfast. You can tell looking around that people "know" this spot and have been coming here forever. A great place for breakfast with a quick turn-around time. There are no vegan-specific items on the menu but something can be cobbled together without the server seeming judgey about it.
