Iced Vietnamese coffee with sea salt foam
    Sophia T.

I love the new Biscoff coffee - the foam is so delicious and the coffee is strong as always. The sea salt foamie continues to be consistently good each time. BOCO is so reliable, you can always expect the drinks to be tasty every time you come. Friendly owners and fast service. You can even order ahead on Instagram before you go to the market.

I was greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. There were a few ppl inside engaged in conversation, on their computers, and others just hanging out enjoying a fresh brew of some sort. I enjoyed the coffee and the ambiance.

It's just a question that was not meant to offend her in a way I can't imagine. A simple No would suffice. Instead, it seemed like a real effort for her not to be snarky with her response that she would assess when she transfers to the back. I get that it's the morning rush. There are nice ways to say No. I would have appreciated any help, even at a later time. I have worked in extremely busy cafes, restaurants, bars... as well as many other fast paced environments. Perhaps she should rethink working in the service industry. I will give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she had a bad morning / off day. Ended up moving to another restaurant. That staff was extremely warn, accommodating, and food and coffee was great. All around a great experience. No hard feelings. Feel free to take it as an observation or blow it off.

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a disappointing and frustrating experience I…read morehad at your location. During my visit, I ordered a promotional drink advertised as the "Three Waves" for 89 lei. The promotion did not specify a drink size, and I typically order a large. I placed my order accordingly--a large iced Three Waves in my personal 40 oz tumbler--and specifically requested that it be filled only halfway, as the drinks are often made with too much milk. While placing my order, the staff encountered issues redeeming my reward. The employee assisting me called over a manager, who was also unable to process the promotion. I explained that another location had previously redeemed the same reward without any issues and offered to wait while they contacted that location for clarification. After making the call, the manager informed me that the reward could only be redeemed for a medium size. I responded that this was fine and I offered to pay the difference for a large. At that point, my drink was already being prepared. The manager attempted to process the reward again as a medium, but the promotional code still did not work. I showed her that, on my end, the reward had already been redeemed and that I had a valid coupon for a free drink. Despite this, she insisted that I would need to pay for the large drink since it had already been made. I clarified that I wanted to use the reward I had earned through previous purchases and even suggested that they could discard the drink and remake it as a medium if necessary. However, she continued to insist that I pay for the large drink, refusing to honor the reward or accept my offer to pay the difference. To make matters worse, the drink was filled all the way despite my clear request for it to be only halfway full. As a result, it was mostly milk and not made to my specifications. Because it was not what I ordered, I ultimately threw it away. When I asked for her name, she responded, "I'm Jerri, the owner." I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service and explained that I would instead go to the other location, where staff are able to properly redeem rewards without pressuring customers into paying for items that should be covered. She then stated that her son manages that location and that she owns both. I find it extremely disappointing that a business would promote a rewards program but fail to honor it when a customer attempts to redeem a valid offer. This experience felt unprofessional, wasteful, and left me questioning the integrity of your rewards system. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed to prevent similar situations for other customers in the future.

It was my first time in this area of Santa Rosa. There's a small parking lot in the back. We walked in and the space was decorated so nicely though there's not a lot of seating indoors. I can imagine how busy this place can get on a sunny day since there's lots of tables and chairs outside. We weren't greeted by the person working, just met with silence. We stood looking at the menu on the wall while the barista stood waiting for us to order. I didn't see the "special" matchas I found through the photos on Yelp then finally noticed that there was a special menu flat on the counter. I think it would be helpful if the special drinks were easier for customers to see. We both ordered then waited for our drinks. While we waited I thought I would go to the restroom, but unfortunately when I checked it was out of order. Don't get confused and go into the "employees only" door! Once we received our drinks, I was glad to see the color of both our matchas were a nice shade of green. The drinks itself were way too sweet and I could barely taste the matcha. To note, this was better than a Starbucks matcha -- it just wasn't our cup of tea. It was good to try but personally, we are not coming back.

It's a perfect neighborhood-coffee-shop energy--welcoming, unpretentious, and quietly cool. The space is clean with a mix of locals popping in for their daily ritual and people lingering with laptops or catching up with friends...or dates? The coffee is consistently excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and clearly made by people who care about what they're doing. Whether you're grabbing a quick drip or settling in with a latte, it's the kind of place where quality never feels fussy. Their pastries and small bites are a solid bonus (avo toast selection, yes, thank you). What really makes Central stand out, though, is the vibe. The staff is genuinely friendly, not performative, and the whole place feels like a calm exhale in the middle of the day. It's ideal for a solo reset, a casual meeting, or a low-key hang. If you're looking for a go-to coffee spot in Santa Rosa that feels both reliable and special, this is my new fav.

Love the space of the cafe and its location is great for the decent ample parking. Outdoor seating in front of the entrance is very much a backyard patio vibe and it's nice and spacious inside. Service was fine too and it seems all the cafe baristas work well and fast even when there's a rush. Noise level is good so anyone looking for a study spot or a place to catch up with a friend will appreciate that! My only gripe is that I think their matcha latte isn't that great. Not sure what they use and how they prepare it but by the end of my drink, I could see clumps meaning maybe they didn't sift the powder and whisk it enough to avoid that grittiness. I can't attest to their espresso drinks but maybe I'll give them another shot if I feel like a seasonal drink!
