    Vegetarian plate, five beans!

Took 30 minutes to make and the employee sneezed the whole time! Rice and rice, maybe five beans, six slices of plantain and some shredded cabbage. Very disappointing & not worth $18.00! No flavor, beans would've really made a difference!

    Pink chicken

The chicken was undercooked/pink on the inside. The chicken was chopped up and had little bones all over the dish. The "meat" that was there was more bone than meat. It was inedible. I took it back and got attitude but I'm scared I will have food poisoning from the bites I ate $22...

Delicious!!! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed both of the times we've ordered from there; all main and side dishes were great!

The steak sandwich was perfect and the pique was good on everything. The rice pudding was the perfect way to end the meal. I placed a to-go order and the food took about 30 minutes to come out. I ordered the pollo al horno with white rice, black beans, and sweet plantains, along with a limeade. The limeade was really good and refreshing. The plantains were also delicious -- definitely my favorite part of the meal. The black beans were good as well. The chicken had good flavor but was a bit dry, and the white rice wasn't cooked the way I personally like it -- it was very stuck together. The inside of the restaurant is really cute though -- colorful decor, nice vibe, and good music playing, which I appreciated. The service was just okay. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but nothing really stood out enough to make me want to return, especially considering the $$$ prices.

The food is consistently excellent and elevated, the staff remains professional while still keeping the home-y feel of the restaurant, and I could drink Carlos' passion fruit vinaigrette as an aperitif. We did the chef's tasting menu with wine pairings and loved every course. The wines were also well curated and matched to the food. We have come here many times, but this was the first chef's menu we tried from him, and we were impressed. Highest recommendation!!!

We ordered a bunch of smaller plates to eat, and one was more delicious than the next! Our server was super knowledgeable about the menu and both nice and accommodating. The place is small but we sat outside, and it was a really lovely evening. We shared the Ensalada, which was really refreshing. The Brussels sprouts (Bruselas con camote) are NOT to be missed! We also really enjoyed the pastelitos de papa. We then split the Cachapa (with serrano ham, because, ham), and the Asado. Our group was 3 people, and we left VERY full, but not overwhelmed. My only regret is we didn't have room for dessert -- definitely next time!

I love the large, communal tables. I love the servers who work here, who all seem like they really love working there. The food is consistently excellent and affordable. Plus, their house made hot vinegar sauce is probably my favorite hot sauce in the world and I put it on everything. I almost always get their Pollo al horno. My wife and I share a plate of 3 piece chicken with pink beans and both sweet and savory plantains. Sometimes I'll also get their camarones which are also delicious. The Cubano sandwich was poorly made--only one piece of ham and barely any filling overall. It was mostly bread, which is unacceptable for something that's supposed to be a hearty sandwich. The service was mediocre at best, but what stood out in a negative way was the management. The supervisor with black and red hair was rude, condescending, and frankly offensive in the way he spoke to me. That kind of behavior has no place in a customer-facing role. To make matters worse, another employee with tattoos on his arms walked around in a way that felt intimidating, as if he was looking to start a conflict. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere that no customer should have to deal with. If this is the standard of service and professionalism here, I won't be returning. Negative stars if I could.
