Server was really sweet, ambiance is nice, i ordered mango sticky rice match with less ice... doesnt seem like it was less ice. Also it had very very strong match taste. I know its matcha its supposed to taste matcha but it was way too bitter than other matchas ive tried. Maybe not for me. Also didnt taste at all mango in it. It was just rice and matcha. No taste of condensed milk , whole milk, mango- nothing
I got the banana pudding matcha: 5/5 so good the banana was the perfect amount of sweetness. I didn't adjust it at all other than getting oat milk. Definitely coming back for this. My boyfriend got the mango green tea with honey boba: 4/5. He got regular sweetness as well. Boba is cooked well ! Tea is super refreshing. Maybe I'll add more sweetness next time.
I came in for the first time yesterday. Amazing service, the cashier was very kind and he was very enthusiastic. I got the banana pudding matcha, mango sticky rice matcha & a peach milk tea. The milk tea & and the banana pudding matcha were delicious, no complaints. The mango sticky rice matcha tasted very bitter and the matcha was watered down, along with the rice tasting like expired milk. I came in today again for another banana pudding matcha and it tasted horrible. Matcha all watered down and clumps of matcha with every sip. I'm truly disappointed and won't be coming back anytime soon.
I got their jasmine milk tea with matcha foam and boba & it was one of the best drinks I've ever had. The consistency was so so rich and silky. I asked for 75% sweetness and it was perfect. It wasn't too sugary or bitter, it was the perfect amount. Can't wait to go back and order another. The front desk girl was super sweet and answered all my questions. Loved the set up of this place, the plants were all so pretty.

Attentive, kind customer service! first time customer! loved it. clean nice eclectic set up, excellent staff, only negative was it had a strong odor or smell immediately walking in. I got a green apple pineapple slushy with three popping boba and jelly! Soooooo delicious! Smooth icey texture, not hard also not too liquidy; PERFECT! Also? They have this banana pudding cream topping that is to die for! P.S. THEY EVEN HAVE A PUNCH CARD !!
I'm a fan again. The Matcha w/Boba changed my mind. I confess to having one 2 days in a row! The staff are efficient & nice. Still wish they offered vegetarian food options, yet after years of saying this I don't see it happening. But I will be back for the matcha!
Late lunch on Monday. Just wrapped up a business meeting in Rohnert Park and wanted a Banh Mi. It's been over a year since I've been back. There were guests dining and waiting for Togo orders. It was a short wait. I ordered a Fancy Pork Banh Mi without Jalapeños and mayonnaise and a Pandan waffle. Food came out in less than ten minutes. I wanted to eat the waffle before it got soggy. It came out bright green with dark bits. Very light Pandan flavor. My Banh Mi came with the usual suspects: pickled carrots & daikon, patê, cucumber and cilantro. The meat was thick slices of steam sausage roll also known as Cha Lua. The baguette bread, tasted a few days old as did the condiments except the pickles. Overall food was ok, I remember it being significantly better in the past. Place was clean and nicely decorated. Staff was cleaning while I was eating. She thanked me as I was leaving.
Come check out Thirstea, had no idea they had new ownership since October. the new staff is great, they are so helpful when it comes to making suggestions for what new drinks they offer. I'm so excited they have a huge offering on Matcha now and it's actually good! the vibes in the store is calm relaxing but super cute also.
Rohnert park has very few boba spots and I'm so glad thirstea is around because they have an amazing selection of boba teas and food options. The store is small but is very cute and has an amazing vibe to it. It is also extremely clean!! Every time I come, I am always greeted right away with a smile. I strongly recommend coming here if you're craving some boba! Ps. My go to is always an Iced Peach Black Tea w/boba!!
Not that great. Staff are pretty inexperienced, mostly teens working part time that can't get basic things right. For example, they couldn't remember our orders. If you are busy I understand, just write down what we ordered, we can wait while you write it down. But don't try to wing it by using memory only and then forgetting our order 3-4 times, and then blame it on our order being too "complicated". Basically, the process is broken. Your store needs to establish some process to make orders flow without mistakes. Staff at McDonalds aren't the brightest but they rarely make mistakes on orders because their process works. You need a process or your store is going to be very inefficient and ineffective. The drinks also tasted very plain. Staff are not that friendly. Overall will not visit this place again.
Although the service was great, I did not enjoy the drinks. It's pretty easy to tell they use powders for their drinks, which isn't necessarily bad if it had tasted good. I got the roasted oolong milk tea and my friend got the jasmine milk tea. I found a piece of hair sealed into the top of my drink so safe to say I was even less impressed. I would say to go to Teaspoon or Bubbles Boba Tea instead!
I swear this is the only good boba in the area and I'm so happy I found it. The milk tea was very good and not too sweet which was great. The grass jelly was smooth and had a good texture. The boba was perfectly soft and chewy. The person working was very patient with us as we figured out what we wanted. The service was quick and nice. The music in this place is also fantastic. Will visit again if I'm in the area.
On the way driving from Santa Rosa back to San Jose, we were craving milk tea so we pick this place because it has decent reviews but... Food: huge disappointment. We order 2 drinks and both were like water-down milk tea and really heavily water-down. They were bland, not much flavor at all. It's like you're drinking water with a little bit of whatever flavor of the milktea is supposed to be. The texture of the bobas was okay but they wasn't sweet. The shop probably didn't "marinade" bobas in sugar long enough. It was $6.5 for a mill tea with boba. At first we thought it was a little bit cheaper than in San Jose because the boba was included but after taking the first sip, it turned out we just bought expensive flavored water. Service: good. They are not super friendly but not rude. Only interact with them once during ordering. Ambiance: it's a cute little boba place. I do like the way they decorate the store: pretty, has lots of light, small but spacious. There are not a lot of seatings so it's probably best you take it togo. No seating outside. Restroom is pretty clean!
Small shop with a couple of tables and a pretty good selection of matcha drinks. The staff were friendly and service was quick. They also have fun decor, with plants for sale around the shop. I got the iced double matcha. The matcha cream had a good matcha flavor but was a bit too sweet for me. The matcha latte itself had a strong matcha flavor, though it was a little grainy. read more

This was my first visit to Thirsty Tea, and unfortunately, it will likely be my last. I came in with high expectations after seeing the great Yelp reviews and was especially interested in the Vietnamese coffee and huge variety of cold foams. The shop itself is adorable, lots of plants and greenery, which I loved. I had already looked at the menu and knew exactly what I wanted. I ordered a watermelon slush, and the employee confirmed they had it. She then asked how much lemon I wanted, explaining that they typically do half or a full lemon. I asked what was standard, and she recommended a full lemon. I then ordered a Vietnamese coffee with cheese foam and Biscoff foam. After waiting, my first drink came out completely wrong. Um it was a matcha. A male employee eventually corrected the Vietnamese coffee order. I then asked about my watermelon slush, only to be told that it had never been rung in. What was most frustrating was that instead of simply acknowledging the mistake, the employee blamed me multiple times for not ordering it. I clearly remembered the conversation because we had specifically discussed the lemon, and she had recommended the full lemon. I explained the entire interaction to her, yet she continued to insist that I was somehow responsible. At that point, I made it very clear that I did not want to continue speaking with her. She continued insisting on engaging with me anyway. I felt completely unheard and, honestly, harassed by the interaction. The way the conversation was handled made me question my own recollection of what had just happened, it felt extremely gaslighting. She eventually made the drink, but then slammed it onto the counter, causing it to fall over. Thankfully, it had a lid on it. At that point, I was extremely uncomfortable and asked the male employee for the owner's contact information. He said he couldn't provide it, so I left my name and phone number and requested that the owner contact me. The Vietnamese coffee was actually very good, which makes this experience even more disappointing. However, I did not drink the watermelon slush because, after the way the interaction was handled, I no longer felt comfortable consuming it. Mistakes happen. What matters is how you handle them. Taking accountability, respecting a customer's boundaries, and treating them with basic courtesy should be the bare minimum. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that. It's a shame because the atmosphere is cute and the coffee was good, but one employee's behavior completely ruined my first impression of the business. One person really can ruin an entire customer experience. I hope the owner follows up because this was incredibly disappointing, especially given the positive reputation of this establishment. read more

This place is so ass its ran by teenagers that literally hangout in the back and smoke. As soon as we came in one of the employees took a hit outta his dome we got matcha milk teas and the nutella egg puff and the nutella wasn't even inside like we expected/how it usually is for other place, it was on the side in a little to go sauce cup. The matcha's were so watered down, it tasted like just straight up milk and sugar. The service was fine the lady was super nice but it was lowk crazy that everyone was literally sitting beside the store's building just smoking. Place was clean and kinda cute read more

The drinks are reasonable and good. They have all the toppings plus some good snacks to go along with the drinks. I was very happy to see pandan waffles on their menu, rarely you see pandan waffles for sell. That was a plus for us. Cute boba spot read more

I really don't enjoy giving low star reviews. However I was really disappointed in my milk tea from ThirsTea. I'm currently living in San Jose so I know what good milk tea is and unfortunately ThirsTea had bad milk tea. We got two drink and after the first sip we wished we could have gotten a refund. We got a Macha Milk Tea and an earl Grey Milk Tea both with boba. Both were extremely watered down. There was also very little ice. We think that maybe they pour hot tea over the ice, melting it and therefore watering it down? Not sure but it was not good at all. The boba was also not sweet enough. I grew up in Sonoma County and when I'm home I'm always on the lookout for a decent milk tea stop. My hunt continues... Despite the tea being so bad its cute inside and the server was friendly. Unfortunately that is not enough to make me come back again. I will not return. read more

Ah, Thirstea. Each time I go for drinks, it's disappointing. However, the food desserts are very good. Milk Teas: 2 stars I have now tried their Black Milk Tea, Earl Grey Milk Tea, and Jasmine Milk Tea, and all of them are very weak in tea flavor. The boba the first time was perfect, but the second time it was strangely very sticky. So sticky it made my mouth almost stuck. Food Desserts: 5 stars I've tried the pandan waffle and the egg puff, and both were excellent. They are the right flavor, and the egg puff got the nice crunchy outside and soft inside. Workers are consistently nice and helpful when answering questions. Overall, food desserts are better than drinks. read more

Let's face it: there's not many boba/bubble tea in Sonoma County. You have a few Quickly's but they're a chain and so-so and don't pick up their phones. You also have Share Tea in Santa Rosa which is actually good but ThirsTea is excellent. I have been here many times on the way back home from work and their flavors are always light, refreshing, fresh and makes you want more! My favorite is the matcha milk tea but looking forward to expanding to their food offerings like their banh Mi and egg puffs. Excellent customer service every time I have gone in. I used to have a frequent buyer punch card. I believe it was get 1 with every 10 purchases, not sure if they are still doing that anymore. They quickly pick up their phones when I call even though they are busy. They promised my drinks in 10 mins and when I got there it was ready. Must try! 1/24- Day 2 of visiting ThirsTea! Ordered the Avocado Smoothie today and their grilled chicken Banh Mi. Delicious. I also found my punch card and yes they are still stamping them! read more

Located next to Baskin Robins and 24 Hour Fitness, I liked the small place and decor. Overall, I enjoyed their fresh Pandan waffle, but the milk tea I ordered (jasmine green) was watery right off the bat (and no, the ice didn't melt yet since I drank it as soon as it was handed to me. The boba itself was fresh, which I liked but I couldn't bring myself to at least finish the drink because of what I said above. I'd like to give them benefit of the doubt right now, and hopefully I'll be able to review much better whenever I go back there. read more
I am from San Jose where there are a lot of great milk tea stores. While I was on a little trip in Santa Rosa, I was hoping to discover a decent boba drink around this area and this place popped up in my search. The store looks cute with indoor decor and a clean restroom. But the drinks were ....a big disappointment. I did not have high hopes for amazing milk tea in this area, but at least it should be decent with the good ratings they have. Unfortunately, the drinks were not even decent, too watery and boba texture and flavors failed as well. :( Service was decent, not great but not bad for that day. 2 stars for the decoration. read more

My first time trying ThirsTea and tbh, I was quite disappointed. The slush mango with boba was not so slushy after all and oh so sweet that I got an instant cavity. The place was tidy and clean inside with some cute decor and the service was friendly and quick. I may return to try the bahn mi if I'm in the area. read more
