I am so grateful to Social Spin. My washer broke and I had an accumulation of dirty laundry for two weeks! I am on a tight budget and I called as it was my first time seeking a service! Kerri the owner is the most kind person and great customer service. She helped me get the best option so I could save. Not only was the app super fast and convenient to use, they came to pick up on time and delivered the very next day. It was alot of laundry and they did it super fast! I am so happy that a place like this exists! I visited Social Spin to see what services they offer as I work at a nearby public library and we have many patrons who need help meeting their basic needs. Social Spin was a warm and well organized environment that is trying to help keep people clean and connected to resources. So often now, communities say they want to help address homelessness but then real solutions are not supported. Social Spin is doing the work and helping people by getting them set up with classes on healthy nutrition, helping them with hygiene and grooming, connecting them to job help and more! I am so impressed that Social Spin exists and is out there doing this very important work for some of our most in need populations. Apparently they are well known for their wash and fold service, but I did my own laundry. Coin operated (I hate those places that make you get a card), $1.00 wash, .25/15 min dry, and the owner said hi to everyone who walked in. She runs program that helps transition people out of foster care. Well now, that deserves 10 stars. read more

I've been using Social Spin for a couple years now. Initially it was a cheap ($1 wash, 25cent HOT dryers) and fast place to do my laundry. The owner is responsive and helpful (opening the bathrooms earlier for self serve clients) and friendly. There is nothing fancy here, no bells or whistles, just cheap, good, washers and dryers. I used them the first time during all this pandemic weirdness for (what I thought) was a huge laundry pick up/drop off. The rates are reasonable and service above and beyond. And I haven't talked about the good that this little laundromat does for the community. They provide free washing once a week for those in need, do animal adoptions!, and much more. Horrible! Clearly these photos were taken when they first opened. This laundromat is filthy! Fifty percent of the machines are "out of service" the other 50% needs severe maintenance. My daughter and I had to wash a blankets that wouldn't fit in our washers and the reviews and photos made it seem that it was a nice new clean facility. It's not! I'm afraid I may have bed bugs!! read more

I spoke with Christy the owner and she completely saved me! After having cockroaches in my old apartment I wanted to wash everything I owned before moving. She had her husband pick up ALL my laundry. She then washed, dried and folded it AND dropped it back off 24 hours later to my new address. The price was incredibly reasonable and communication was great throughout the process. I came here trying to laundry, only to find a bunch of older machines that seem to be in poor maintenance. I came here due to the good yelp reviews, but every other machine seems to be broken. If I had noticed it earlier, I would have gone else where. There also seemed to be no one attending the place, so it seemed like the place was dead. Washing machine had an error, and now i'm stuck trying to get my clothes out. I called the number, but no one is picking up. The owner Christy and her husband came and tried their best to fix the problem, but were unsuccessful in fixing the issue. They ended up washing and delivering my clothes the same day. They more than made up for the hassle of the machine not working for me. read more

Very clean, nice owner, feels safe, and it's affordable. I really love the social causes that this business supports and it's the drawing factor that led us to choose this laundromat. We needed to launder linens from our skills training lab in a hurry, called Christy and she picked up our loads personally early the next morning and they were back for use by 1:30pm! Visited after hearing so many good things about this place and to wash comforters & blankets that wouldn't fit in my machine at home. The place is really clean and Christy the owner was super helpful and friendly. I used the front loaders (there's 4 of them) and they were easy to use and the most economical imo ($3.75-$4.75 depending on the size). The dryers are $.25 for seven minutes and very hot which was great for my comforters. I used 3 quarters on each dryer to make sure they were more than dry. This will be my go to place for laundry especially since it's for a great cause. read more

Oh, Social Spin, how I love thee. I have used Social Spin since they first were up and running. At the time I did not have a washer/dryer in place and needed to do laundry in a shared laundry room or laundromat - absolutely hated that. Social Spin saved me so much - money, time and frustration. Not only were my clothes returned to me promptly, they always were packed neatly and smelled perfect! Not once did I have an issue with them and I was constantly receiving freebies and upgrades for being a loyal customer. Such a great concept to help employ some of the youth in the community that just want a chance to gain skills and do better. The owner, Christy is such a fantastic woman with an enormous heart. I had to do my laundry here and This is a Horrible place And Bad business. My daughter almost fell off the shelf trying to grab a book and it smells very bad in their . The dryer burned me clothes and the machine took my money and to make matters worst Christina is so rude and just a horrible person gave me a hard time and just yelled at me when I tried to tell her the issues with her machines . Horrible place I will never go back again and i dont think anyone else should either . They try so hard to play the part but Christina is a horrible person . I don't understand how anyone can run a business and be so rude and horrible. Very bad place . read more

Our washer was attacked by a rat, it ate the electrical wire, so the drain option stopped working. While I wait for a repair service, my family needed some clean clothes. Right now, Social Spin is not self service so we were greeted by Blondie. She was quick, kind and helpful. I love this business, it's founder and the frontline worker who helped us out. read more

They washed 187 pounds for me and had it ready by the next morning. Got me and my wife out of a jam. They replaced one garment that got some slight heat damage, they didn't have to do that but went far and beyond customer service. Will definitely use them again! read more
