It's been a Hot minute since I've been here. This isn't the ideal place to study which is what I'm looking for but at 2pm on a Wednesday the temperature inside is cool on this hot day, the 3 tacos (1 chicken and 2 pork) are good and the choice of beverage feels unlimited. I was able to try a few before I settled on my one. Bartender is super friendly and there service on point. The question is can I study here? Possibly. We shall see. I'm trying to explore parts of town that I'm not normally in. I love the cider here and it's been awhile. Definitely a different experience coming in here alone. I had never been to a brewery before so this was a magnificent experience. A few friends and I decided to get together at this location on January 14th. Parking was perfect. The ambiance was so hospitable. If your place is too small to have a relaxed get together just meet here!!! Comfortable chairs and tables inside and out. The bartender/waiters are stinkin' awesome. Ours was Angie. The sweetest person. Patient, considerate and hospitable. I tired their Wild Hennessy, Non-Spicy Margarita, Chicken Tacos, Wings, Chicken Nachos and Mexican Lollipop drink. The prices were suitable for both food and drink. The music was perfect and suitable for the customers relaxing. I had an amazing time here at SoCal Vibes/Honest Abe. My boyfriend and I first had mead from Total Wine this year through Honest Abe! I really loved the taste of the lychee mead, so much that I had to book my 30th birthday celebration there and share their meads and ciders with my friends. The decor and games were all wonderful. The Cidery makes their own ciders and get beers from like in kind size breweries. Good to support others. The ciders range from dry to sweet. The meads follow that same suite! I love a place with good cider options so SoCal vibes was perfect for me! They offer ciders, beer, wine, and cocktails. I love flights so that was a must order. Each cider stood out from the other and each had their own distinct flavor. My fav was the Sex Wax cider. This place has a nice chill vibe with giant Connect 4, foosball, and corn hole. A great place to hang out with friends or have a laid back date night! They have street parking in the front of a small lot in the back. The customer service was also great! We came here for a sponsered run for beer 5k, which is part of the CA Brewery Running Series. So got to chill and vibe here even before they opened so that was cool. It's a pretty big brewery. With a large outdoor seating, some indoor seating and then a second floor for kareoke and more!! The main floor is pretty well designed. With the big brewery machines in the back and the rest of the interior as well as exterior themed well. They have so many beers on tap (I'd estimate at least 30). But not only that, they have other drinks including brandy. I had their black cherry brandy. Which was amazingness in a glass!! Tasted just like black cherries!!! It was not only sweet but had a deep and smooth finish. It was so good I had to try their other brandy, which was an apple pie brandy. Similar taste to apple cider but with alcohol. It wasn't as great as the black cherry but still good. Slightly tart but chilled and refreshing. We had a couple of their bar food as well. Which was ok to fairly good. We ordered their poke bowl as well as pork nachos. They give you a little buzzer to let you know when the food is ready for pickup. Poke bowl was pretty salty. Lots of sauce, maybe a little too much. Good amount of protein in it. Your choice of rice or salad or a mixture of them. The pork nachos were good. Loaded with a good amount of pork and other toppings. Slathered in a whole bunch of nacho cheese. Which made the majority of nachos soggy. Customer service is amazing. Nice vibes. Cool atmosphere. Just off a large street so lots of car noise. Be careful when eating outside. There's a whole bunch of flies flying around. Kinda annoying. But besides that it's a great place to chill and have a drink and get some food. read more

Came here with a couple Co workers for a Friday evening of drinks. Vibe is nice when walking in but that went out the window when I sat down. First, there are no table servers. So I ordered inside. Then I had to carry my flight back to our table hoping I didn't drop it. Second, I ordered their pretzel bites only to see they place the food on the counter and you pick it up. It's literally for the taking. Anyone could of grabbed it or even stood at the counter talking over my food. I didn't like that one bit. But this is when it went down hill. We sat outside in their lounge white chairs. Unbeknownst to me, there were ants crawling. I thought I was seeing things but nope, dozens of ants running around on the seats. Disgusting. I placed the pretzel bites on the table- ants were on the plate. Double disgusting. I grabbed a wicker chair hoping that would be better. Nope, I literally felt an ant crawling on my lower back near my ass crack. The ant really wanted some ass but I grabbed it and flicked it away. I'm overly disgusted now. Not only were their ants, but flys were flying everywhere. I took a napkin to cover my drink only to see ants on the napkin. Triple disgusting. The straw that broke the camels back was the restroom. It was clean but NO soap or paper towels. So the employees are using the bathroom without washing their hands? Quadruple disgusting! I asked if they could put soap/napkins in the bathroom and they said yes. I waited a bit and nope. No soap. I wanted to leave immediately but a couple people drove quite a distance to meet us and I didn't want to be rude. A hour pass- still no soap in the bathroom. I refused to order food or another drink because of the unsanitary conditions. The only thing I liked was the cider flight. Of the 6, 3 were really good and the other 3 were decent. We had our social mixer here for our professional organization that hosted a symposium at CSUDH. The food was awesome, and definitely a vibe for our participants! The drinks were really good and were a great alternative to a normal brewery. The sliders were really good...especially the pulled pork sliders that were cooked in their own ale. Visited 6/13 around 10 pm. Went to order food and a drink and was going to tip cash on my 20$ bill. So I pressed no tip on the iPad. Then a female cashier w/ black hair wearing a flannel there scoffed rolled her eyes and then said "wow really no tip?" Then just walked away w/o realizing I was going to tip in cash. Extremely rude, disrespectful, over 4$. I know things are rough right now but being that pissed over 4$? Which I was going to tip anyways?? Cmon. Checked out SoCal Vibes after receiving a complimentary flight from a nice guy who did Honest Abe Cider tastings @ Total Wine. Boyfriend and I were impressed by their selection and were excited to see what they had to offer. Apparently all of their ciders/meads are brewed in house which is pretty neat. You order your food and drinks at the bar, then grab them once they're ready. I have to say, I was a little nervous about carrying a whole flight to my table. Can't imagine doing that if I was tipsy LOL. We tried the Honest Abe Cider and Mead flights. Both definitely had some interesting and unique flavors. Some we loved, some we didn't. Their lychee and cactus cooler meads were delicious! As for food, we didn't really expect much from it. Everything was OK, but did the job when we needed something to snack on while drinking... We ordered the poke nachos, buffalo wings, and pretzel bites. Quality was like something you would just throw together in the kitchen after a long night out. Real down to earth type of stuff. Although the pretzel bites were kind of hard, I really liked their house beer cheese dipping sauce! Overall, SoCal Vibes is a great spot to chill. I'd say they're going for laid back island vibes based off of the decor. They have a number of different games to keep you entertained, and staff is friendly! I love their cactus cooler cider! It's probably one of my favorite ciders out there. I also got their flight of apple ciders and they had some pretty unique flavors. Most of them were fruit flavored and on the sweeter side which I loved. The space is not too big but there is an upstairs area to hang out. When I went, the space was super hot so that was a downside. Their parking is also not great but there's street parking available. The servers were attentive and great at recommendations. We love coming here with the kids since there is great space for them to play around. I have never been a huge mead fan, but this place got me trying it. Strongly recommend the cactus cooler and lychee. They also have a pretty decent kitchen considering that they are more of a brewery than anything else. Parking is located in the back which makes it easy to bring all the baby junk. Definitely a great recommendation for parents looking to chill, grab a bite while the kids play around. read more
