My boyfriend and I stopped by SoCal Vibes after seeing it was dog-friendly, and we had such a nice time! SoCal Vibes is tucked away near industrial warehouses. The indoor and outdoor seating areas are very spacious, which is a plus for me. Even though it was moderately busy the night we went, the outdoor area still felt spacious enough to offer an intimate vibe while we enjoyed our drinks. The service was nice; the staff were attentive and friendly. You pay at the counter for your drinks and take them back to your seat, just like at a standard bar. I'm not sure if I should be relieved that I didn't order any food that day after reading some reviews. I've seen some people complain about sanitary measures and the temperature/quality of the food here. Hmm... next time I stop by, I'll probably just grab drinks and then head over to In-N-Out lol. On another note, the drinks were good! I forgot which IPA I had, but it was nice. My boyfriend went for his usual michelada, which he enjoyed. Overall, SoCal Vibes is a laid-back, industrial-style brewery that offers a spacious, dog-friendly outdoor seating area. For that reason alone, I'll probably be back soon. Since my last review in 2023, I've attended few events (birthday, baby shower, and engagement parties) at SoCal Vibes, and all events went so well and everyone had a great time! Recently, we rented half of the 2nd floor mezzanine for a coworker's baby shower, and Angie made it a breeze for us to plan. Since the mother-to-be couldn't eat certain food, Angie and her team accommodated to her dietary restriction and worked with us until the last day to make sure the party went smoothly. By the time we arrived for the party, all the food was set up and ready to go! We had a great time at SoCal Vibes and look forward to hosting another event there soon. read more

Loved the Wednesday Night Trivia. The hosts were so much fun, and the ciders were just as awesome - so many selections! There are indoor and outdoor seating and even an upstairs inside. The place is already decked out for Valentine's Day and had great decor! The staff is really friendly and was kind for giving us a free cider because our wings order wasn't put through right away, and we had to wait. We had the wings and pretzel bites. Pretzels were soft and came with two sauces. The wings had a sauce instead of a rub, which I wasn't too crazy about, but it came with fresh celery and carrot sticks. read more

Beautiful establishment, but really short staffed the day I went. The waiter/server was over worked and seemed frustrated. He seemed to be the only one working register and assisting inside and outside, he was the bartender as well. He handled himself as best as he could but the frustration was noticeable. The table we sat at needed to be cleaned, it was overlooked many times, we had to ask that it be cleaned. We ordered our food and it took quite some time to be brought out. Once we received it, it was cold to the touch. Once bringing it to the server's attention he was receptive but the hesitation was all over his face. I believe they just reheated and reserved because this time everything had the little burnt marks on the burger and tots. The burgers was really delicious, we got the cowboy burger with the mayo on the side and the tots. The onions and BBQ sauce in it was on point. We also got chips salsa and guac, the guac was really good, very flavorful. The burger came with chips, like a kettle chip. Not sure of the flavor but it was really good. We also got a honest Abe flight, it was cider. This was really my first time trying cider and I was pleasantly surprised how flavorful the drinks were. I would consider myself somewhat of a regular here, and I still consider this my favorite brewery despite this review. The drinks, and most food are 10/10. The service is mostly good but my friends and I have all had an issue with one specific server here. Over the last few months of regularly coming as a paying customer, I have noticed one worker (I assume the manger) who blatantly treats our group differently than every single customer. Even if we don't come as a group, and we come individually, she will still treat us the same. She will see us waiting to order and will walk around to chat to anyone at the bar ignoring us for minutes while she rushes to take other customers orders as soon as they step up. On my last visit, she walked away from the counter when I walked up and went to the kitchen where she proceeded to read a menu for several minutes. She never cleans our tables, she walks away as soon as she sets our drinks down and turns the iPad the other way without a word. Meanwhile I see her chatting to everyone else and giving great service. She takes table orders from other people and she never comes by to clean up our glasses. She has consistently served us drinks when the kegs are running out that not filled to the brim and extremely watered down. Her service absolutely sucks and I can see there are many other reviews about the same girl. I hope the management can do something about this as she greatly takes away from the experience. read more

This spot is down the street from the Porsche Experience in Carson. So had to stop by after to check it out!! We went on a Saturday so plenty of street parking out front. Walked in and they have a nice large outdoor area street side. Lots of shade and some games to play! Walked inside and plenty of room at the bar as well as tables and chairs. Walked right up and was greeted by the bartender. We ordered the "Sex Wax" Chocolate & Raspberry Cider and their west coast IPA. Both were great tasting! Since we just ate didn't get to try the food but there's always room for dessert! So had to try their ice cream sliders!!! Their flights are already preselected but you can choose your own tasters a la carte. We got a beer flight and tried out the passion fruit mead apple brandy. The mead I was more sparkly than I expected but still tasty. The apple brandy was sweet and the apple flavors came through. Very drinkable. Service was quick on Sunday around noon. A group of us were randomly passing by and decided to come in for some beer. I really liked the options for the mead drinks. Very unique compared to other breweries that I've been to. I tried the Cactus cooler, Blueberry and the pear versions. All of them were really tasty. Although we had just eaten, I didn't realize that they had an extensive food menu as well. I really look forward to returning and trying the food along with their other beverages. I was staying at the Hampton down the street and was looking up local places and this place came up. I'm glad that it did. Service was A1. Wings were legit. The beer was beering for sure lol. And i loved that they had plenty of TVs if you want to catch the games. I wanted to watch MNF and the ALCS and i got both. Their kitchen must be run by some real deal chefs because their menu is surprisingly big for a brewery and I've never had something I had to return. They have yard games outside and there's an upstairs lounge where you can sit back and relax while you eat or drink with your group. They have a few televisions that sit above the bar as well. Island feel with the decorations and reggae playing. Down to earth people. Definitely felt like I was on an island bout to partake in some awesomeness. Mead (4): this is essentially a meadery. If you haven't had mead yet, you must try. It's made from honey or something like that. It is sweet though. Theirs is decent and they had some good flavors. I took home the cactus cooler but I remember cantaloupe was pretty good too. They do have some other beers on draft. Food (2): this ain't no kitchen. There ain't no chef here so don't expect anything gourmet. This is just snacks that anyone can heat up. They do have some items on happy hour, but it's just to complement the alcohol you're partaking in. Overall, a solid 3.5 rounded up. Love the vibe and the mead. Come and hang out. Five stars, and if I could give more stars, I would! I hosted a bridal shower here and used their upstairs mezzanine area. I emailed with Aerin prior to our event date; he answered all my questions, and provided pictures of the upstairs so that we could plan out decorations. On our event day, Angie the manager helped make sure our event went off perfectly, and Paul helped make sure all the food was ready. It was a warm day, so it was great to be indoors. I came here the other day with my boyfriend and this place was great! We were looking for a brewery near by near Torrance and ran by this place. They have plenty of drink options and 3 different flights. We ended up with a cider flight and it was delicious. Their ciders reminds me a lot more like a sour though. There is plenty of parking and if you can't find any in their parking lot, there is also street parking. Customer service was great and this place is great for big group hang outs. Had a wonderful visit on Friday afternoon. We started off with the mead flight, honestly we loved all of them but there were 2 standouts for us, the cactus cooler and the lychee. Both were super refreshing and tasted like the flavor but didn't taste artificial- which was surprising on the lychee as lychee flavored things usually are. We decided on poke nachos & wings to eat. The fish was fresh and well seasoned, not overpowered by the toppings. The chips stayed really crispy too as it took us a while to get through them. The wings were a stand out, especially the elote tossed ones! Who would have thought those flavors would go so well on chicken wings, mayo, tajin, and cotija cheese-yum. The ranch was also really good. We sampled a few ciders there too, love potion number 9 was great and the apple pie moonshine was also a favorite of ours. The only con I can think of is the parking lot seems like it could get filled up quickly. While it wasn't a problem when we first got there, it was really full when we left. read more

I had never been to a brewery before so this was a magnificent experience. A few friends and I decided to get together at this location on January 14th. Parking was perfect. The ambiance was so hospitable. If your place is too small to have a relaxed get together just meet here!!! Comfortable chairs and tables inside and out. The bartender/waiters are stinkin' awesome.
