Love my Fashionable Eye-wear plus excellent patient service!!!

I must share my amazing stylish new eyewear, they are fun and fashionable and I love them. Much appreciation for the warm-friendly service I experienced! You all are my Angels . Pamela Ranae

I recommend Dr. Pasquali, hands down.

As always it took a long time to get an appointment however it is totally worth it. I saw Dr. Kwok, and he did exactly what I love... Thorough evaluation, and quicken to the point. It took longer for me to make an appointment on the phone than it did for my office visit in which I was very pleased with.

From start to finish, everything was done quickly and efficiently--my actual laser procedure was done in under a minute, which blew my mind. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. Everything about my visit was smooth and positive. The doctors were kind and professional, and the environment felt very welcoming. I did notice a little attitude at the front desk, but it was clear they were super busy, and honestly, it was understandable. Everyone was still respectful and got things done fast. If you're considering coming here--do it. They work at a fast pace, but they're good at what they do, and the experience was overall amazing. Highly recommend! One lady walked around the office trying to find a staff member and nothing. Several people left frustrated. After about 30min of waiting a patient went out and found the receptionist and when she finally came back in, there was no apology, no explanation, nothing. An older gentlemen mentioned that he had rescheduled his appt to that day because during his original appt he waited several hours to be seen, but they were really behind and had no explanation for it. I can't imagine the horrible wait that ensued after this fiasco, so I ended up leaving and going elsewhere. Horrible customer service and respect for their patients.

I am very satisfied and happy with the result. I highly recommend Dr. Gordon and his staff. I was hit by a rock on my right eye when I was in first grade. That unfortunate incident caused very early development of cataract called Traumatic Cataract. I saw the first sign of blurriness about five years ago, and it progressively got worse as time went on to a point where my right eye became almost useless, and I was using primarily my left eye to function and live my life, which was very irritating. Although my health insurance referred me Dr. Marvin Gordon, I feel very fortunate and lucky to have such capable, meticulous, and skilled doctor. His exams on my eyes were pretty extensive, and some tests were done more than once, which made me feel little bit irritating at the time, but later I came to appreciate his meticulous and complete nature of his practice. After all, they are my eyes and vision that I will be living with for rest of my life, and I'm glad he took his time and care to thoroughly examine them. I also had this fear of not getting approval for the surgery from my insurance company, but after the diagnosis Dr. Gordon explained the condition of my eyes, what cataract surgery is, what options were available, and what I can expect from the surgery. He explained all these things to me confidently as if the surgery is going to happen, which made me at ease and believe that he would submit all necessary tests and supporting documents to my insurance for the surgery approval. I was elated when I got the call from his office that my surgery date has been set, and I needed to go see my primary physician for a physical, to make sure I was physically well enough to go through a surgery. His office also emailed me information on what I need to do before the surgery, on day of the surgery, and after the surgery. A few days before the surgery, my surgery hospital Lakewood Regional Medical Center called me to confirm my cataract surgery and my out-of-pocket cost. It was whopping $1,100. It was a lot to fork out, but I was really relieved that it was manageable sum, and it seemed reasonable to me. All staff and nurses at Lakewood Regional Medical Center were very professional and courteous, except for the intern or volunteer kid who wheel-chaired me to my waiting car after the surgery where he didn't fold up the foot stand on wheel chair that made it difficult for me to stand up, and he promptly banged the car door against the wheel chair as he opened it. It was my friend's car who was kind enough to come with me, and that made it 100 times worse than if it happened to my own. Dr. Gordon came to see me before the surgery to make sure I was feeling comfortable and to answer any concerns or questions. The surgery took about an hour, and I was asleep most of the time, but I did wake up during the last part of the operation. I was little shock to see the operation being performed on my eye, and I could feel the wetness and the instruments touching my eye as well, but it wasn't all that gross. What surprised me was that Dr. Gordon was explaining what he was doing as the procedure went on, and that helped me tremendously to make me feel comfortable and at ease. I was feeling very nauseous for a couple of days though from the effects of anesthesia, which I slept it off. Thankfully there was no other side effects or complications. The recovery time was surprisingly fast! Just after couple of days after the surgery I was able to see clearly without any corrective lens. Its been couple of months since the surgery, and I am very satisfied and happy with the result.

I came right on time at 10am but called to go inside at 10.35 am. They said they were little behind with the schedule. Also I wish they have good selection of the eyeglasses. Their selection and variations very low and more like standard basic one. One of the worker told me they have little selection since elderly come more often. So if you want luxury trendy glasses I don't think you able to find it here. Just ask the prescription and take it somewhere else like LensCrafters or Warby Parker. I'm pretty sure they take most insurance but make sure first to ask. I'm pretty glad I don't need to pay any copay.

Last year I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and she put me on an ACE inhibitor. It helped lower my blood pressure, but I developed a cough not long after. I looked up the side effects and noticed that cough could be one of them. I brought this up to Dr Mikhail and she said that since it lowered my blood pressure, I should stay on it and prescribed me allergy medicine. The cough continued for months. When I would bring it up again she prescribed me more allergy medicine and told me it couldn't have been the ACE inhibitor since I said that I coughed more at night. The cough got worse earlier this year and I repeatedly told her the allergy medicine wasn't helping but she kept prescribing more of it and dismissed me. After months of little sleep from coughing all night, getting the side-eye from people hearing me hacking in public, having my throat raw with pain and a general decrease in quality of life, I got fed up and made an appointment with a pulmonologist. He diagnosed me with bronchitis, switched me from the ACE inhibitor to Amlodipine, and gave me an inhaler and nose spray. Within a week the cough was gone. It's annoying that Dr Mikhail misdiagnosed me, but what infuriated me the most was her gaslighting me and ignoring my complaints for MONTHS. I really wanted to like her but I'm never going to her office again.
