Ray is a wonderful guy! We had a bee swarm in our chimney. Ray arrived shortly after we called. Ray is relocating the bees. It is a win-win-win solution. We no longer have bees coming into the house, the bees get to continue to live and make honey in their new home, and Ray does what he loves. Having bees in our chimney went from being a problem to a gift of knowledge. read more

Phenomenal service! I am so thankful this company and Cesar exist! So Cal Bees - Thanks for saving us!! - Pest Control Near Me

Cesar and So Cal Bees quickly and efficiently solved a bee problem before it became a major headache. I called him two days after a swarm appeared on the eaves of my roof (note: don't wait that long! I wasn't home when my new winged guests arrived and my housemate told me) and he was at my house in 20 minutes. Cesar analyzed the type of swarm it was an picked the best plan of action to remove them quickly and humanely. We thought that the swarm would just fly away, but they ended up preferring a box that Cesar brought. At sundown, he returned, all the bees were safely in the box, and Cesar took them off to go make some honey! Win-win if you ask me. It was an affordable service and well worth the money, especially considering it was cheaper than another company that was likely going to kill the bees when they arrived. Cesar is an affable guy who takes pride and care in what he does. I recommend him wholeheartedly if you have bees and would prefer not to! read more

When I found a beehive in my compost bin, I did not know who to call. So, I went to Yelp and after reading many reviews of beekeepers and pest control businesses, I chose the former. I know that bees are being decimated by pesticides and loss of land (because of less acreage for flowers), so I decided that I wanted a business that would not kill the bees. I found So Cal Bees. I first spoke to Cesar, who put in touch with his partner, Ray, who came out promptly, removed the bees and their honeycomb hive, and for a fair price. Ray told me that they would re-home the bees into their own apiaries, which are located in various semi-rural sites and backyards around Southern California. I liked their work so much, that I bought several jars of their honey, which were named after the locations of some of their apiaries. read more

Thank you Caesar!!! You saved us and the Bees! We had a swarm of bees set up a nice hive in our brick wall. I didn't want the bees killed. I found a referral for SoCal Bees. Caesar was extremely responsive. He came out to assess the situation that very day. The next day he set up a system to entice the bees to a transport box and then monitored the process throughout. The bees were safely relocated to a nature area and he repaired the little hole in the wall that the bees had made. His pricing is very reasonable. The best part was working with a professional that had excellent knowledge and customer service. read more

Cesar was quick to reply via yelp and was able to provide next day service. Provided upfront and competitive pricing. Was good about letting me know if he was running behind schedule so I wasn't waiting around at home all day wondering when he would show up. Helped humanely remove bees and hives from compost bin into his own receptacle in the afternoon. He returned later in the evening to collect the bees almost all of whose settled into their new home nicely. Sadly, I noticed one or two lone bees the next day that didn't realize their home had been relocated but they were gone a few days later. read more

They are a godsend. One night I noticed the a small swarm & reached out to businesses on yelp. By noon the next day they had come, taken care of the swarm & some wasps nest for an affordable rate. On top of that, I got some honey gifted & the owner educated me on why the swarm was small. He was pretty excited to have found a queen bee with my swarm that he could now match with bees without a Queen at his farm. read more

As a beekeeper. I'm very comfortable around bees in a hive. But when I saw a cloud of hundreds (or thousands?) of bees make a beeline for a tiny hole under my steps to set up shop under my house, I knew I was out of my league and it was So Cal Bees to the rescue. Cesar is incredibly knowledgeable, came out to check our chimney for bees which we had seen the day before, but fortunately, they were merely scouts and hadn't moved in. He was kind and respectful, not allowing us to even give me some money for gas and beer despite the trouble. He also provided us with a quick assessment of our backyard and a few holes in the wall which we need to seal in order to prevent a future hive from moving in. Thanks Cesar! read more

We found some bees in our backyard and while they were friendly enough, we didn't want any issues with them growing in the backyard wall. We also didn't want to exterminate. Cesar was responsive, friendly, and brimming with joy and care for bees. He helped us relocate the hive to one of his apiaries in Long Beach and gave us some cuts of honeycomb that didn't fit in the box. He explained the different things we were seeing in the comb and encouraged us to give it a try. We did, and the honey was amazing! My little son is fascinated and keeps talking about bees and wanting to see the honey combs. So glad we found Cesar! read more

Requested a quote through yelp and Caesar responded within the hour and showed up the same afternoon to get rid of 3 wasps nest, but end up getting rid of 4 wasps nest because we did a quick walk around the house. Cesar was awesome. He came out and found my hive, which was in small cavity in my attic. He then removed it and returned another time to help remove the remaining stubborn bees. He is a delight to work with and really educated us about bees. I am glad he was able to relocate most of the hive to another location instead of destroying it. I had consulted another vendor who told me I would have to rip apart my roof in order to remove the hive, which would have been intrusive and expensive. I'm glad I called Cesar instead!! read more
