I have always had good service at the Santa Monica location, so I mistakenly assumed the NoHo branch would offer the same. Ha! Despite the fact that there were no other customers there when I came in at 4pm on Saturday, the salesmen acted as if I was an intruder. When I tried to explain the probem, the one who was "helping" me kept interrupting; his response to my photo was "What IS that?" Finally he decided there was nothing he could do, so he said "You gotta call [the manufacturer]. Thanks a bunch, guy--if anyone there had bothered to answer the email I'd sent more than a week earlier, I could have saved myself the trip. read more

Terrible customer service. I was there last Tuesday morning. I was the only customer in the store. I asked for some help to answer some questions. After about 10 minutes I asked again. They said someone would be coming to help. No one came. I left. I drove from Woodland Hills to North Hollywood so needless to say, I was quite disturbed with the lack of interest. I was going to ask for help because I couldn't believe the extremely high prices of the cabinet knobs I was looking at. Over 5 times what I saw everywhere else for similar knobs. read more

Ok, I was not surprised to find that this store only has two stars for there review. I walked into the store today in search of some vessel sinks. Three sales men stood behind the counter and continued what seemed to be an unimportant conversation (in fact I'm sure it was) while I aimlessly search for product. It felt like they looked right past me. Finally after I stood an stared at them for what seemed like a few minutes, did one guy decide to speak to me.. By then I was emotionally done. I have been a long time customer. I started to write a rather negative review after a phone call with a sales associate. I bought thousands $$$$ =appliances and fixtures for my kitchen remodel. I had a problem with my kitchen faucet and called Snyder Diamond to get the part and was told I had to pay for it. After speaking with an employee on the phone I was under the impression my warranty would not be honored. But after going in to pick up the part I needed, I changed my mind. The guy helping me out was nice, professional and got me the info I needed for my warranty. All good. read more

When I called back the person who answered the phone was so rude and unhelpful that I wished I never purchased anything from the store. Amazing place. The appliances are all day and age. They men that work there are helpful and knowledgeable. It may seem a little old as far as architecture, but doesn't matter, don't judge a book by its cover. Love this place. My grandfather has been going there since it's opening. Good variety of appliances and nice showrooms. We were happy with our appliance orders for the kitchen but for plumbing/bathroom items it was a different story. We placed an order in the North Hollywood showroom and they called us 5 weeks later to let us know that they never actually placed it. This set us back over a month in our renovation. Two other separate orders for plumbing supplies were missing pieces or held up and we literally had to go into the showroom and call all week because no one followed up with us. When we went in they said they had placed an email a week ago...no phone call to the vendor. The lack of a sense of urgency and attentiveness by the staff has become incredibly frustrating. We will not be ordering anything from this company again. read more

So, I made the trip to Snyder Diamond hoping for help in my plumbing detecting. 20+ years ago we redesigned our master bathroom. Today we are having issues with several of the fixtures. Unfortunately, I can't find any paperwork to indicate the brand of the faucets and without that information it is very difficult to order replacement parts. I had first stopped at two other plumbing fixture providers, working my way across the valley looking for help. In both of my two previous stops I was met with counter help and consultants who were happy to try to figure out from the faucet and stem I was carrying around with me what the brand might have been, or, in the alternative if there are parts on the market that would work. My prior stop, suggested, after working on it for 15 minutes or so, that I try Snyder Diamond. I told them it was my next stop and that I appreciated their help. So, feeling hopeful, I went to SD. First, I waited at least 5 minutes in an empty store for someone to come to the counter to help. Then, once I had handed the gentleman my parts and explained what I was trying to do, he picked up the stem, said "I don't know what this is from." and handed it back to me. I asked, again, if there was something he could do the try and help me figure it out. He said, "You need to buy a new one." Well ... He may be right. I might need all new fixtures for our bathroom: 2 sinks, a tub and a shower. I won't be shopping at Snyder Diamond. EVERY OTHER shop tried to help me figure it out. Here I was dismissed in less than a minute. I have used SD for many, many years. Time for a new provider. read more

The best! Great service from good people you can call friend. I bought most of my appliances and bathroom fixtures at Snyder Diamond at Vanowen in 2005. And now my Grohe shower thermo valve is acting up--the water stays hot. I called Grohe and was advised to buy the replacement part somewhere because it was no longer covered by their limited warranty (?) So I called Ruben Diaz, if they have that cartridge. Guess what?He helped me get the replacement part free of charge. I got the part today....I tell you, at Snyder you'll get the best price and the best of friends with lifetime warranty. read more

I redid my kitchen in 2011 and had a great experience with Snyder Diamond. The products were beautiful and the service quite good. In April 2017 I ordered something - the parts department took days to call me back so I could order the part - I needed to call multiple times and finally after 4 days someone called back. The good news is the product ordered was correct. I walked in yesterday - the parts department person gave me 2 minutes of his time - the store was empty. I will probably not go tho this Snyder Diamond again and will try another location if needed. read more

We just completed a very long and very expensive kitchen construction project which gave me the kitchen of my dreams. We decided on all sub-zero and wolf products. When it started we were talking to another subzero-wolf distributor who didn't seem to know much about these products. We went to the subzero-wolf showroom who recommended Snyder-Diamond. From the minute we stepped into the North Hollywood store and met Jose Quezada, we knew we were in good hands. His knowledge of the subzero-wolf product was impressive. We purchased 7 items plus a Scotsman nugget ice maker. Even though our project took months longer than originally anticipated. Snyder was awesome, patient, professional, helpful and caring. Jose was there for me every step of the way, even when we had trouble with our panels for the appliances. We are now talking about remodeling our master bath and we are coming back to Snyder Diamond. I do not understand some of the negative reviews...these people know their business and provide the level of service you would expect when purchasing high end product. read more

I ordered some fixtures from them and they promised me they will be delivered in couple of days. A week passed and since I did not hear from them, I called and they said that they were waiting only for one item for the order to be complete. Couple of hours later they called me and said that the order was ready to be picked up. I went to pick up the next day only to find out that some the fixtures had not arrived yet. It took another week for everything to arrive. They wasted a lot of my time. I would not trust these guys again because they will tell you anything you want to hear just to make a sale. read more

Terrible customer service. I purchased a shower box from Mitch and I went back to buy the rest of the fixtures for my bathroom. When I called at 9am to see what they had available in stock Mitch told me that he would call me back and let me know what they had. Over 3 (1pm) hours later I call back and someone very rude named Lino tells me Mitch is busy with a customer and hangs up on me. Over 20 minutes later and 3+ calls back and 10+ min of putting on and off hold, Mitch comes on the phone. He tells me hes going to check the stock now and that he hadn't got a chance. I wait on hold as he checks (2-3 minutes) as he returns he says to me "that was quick" - He then tells me they are out of stock of everything and he is not sure when he will have any more shower heads. ( I was looking for any in-stock shower head) I told him it sounds like I'm bothering him trying to make this purchase so I will go some where else. He said "Sure". I ordered the same shower head from Amazon for way less and it came with free overnight shipping. : ) read more

I am remodeling bathrooms at three locations and have gvien quite a great deal of business to Snyder Diamond. I am apalled at the inefficiency nd lack of good service. I purchassed two bathtubs.one arrived damged and it tok manbphone calls and three weeks before someone came toreair it. They would not replace it with a ew one and it was a very expensive high end bath tub. Most recently I purchased three faucets and hanles form them. The metal thermostat control button cover was missing leaving the plastic exposed. I went into the store immediately andmy salesman was aat luch. the assuredme he would call me when he got back in. He did not. That wasthree daysago. He does not reurn ny of my phone calls and when I call him they say he is with a customer. I called and spoke to the manager who said he would order the part in *lhours becauehe s busy. This is the worst sevice I ever received from a plumbing supply store. My advice i do not go to Snyder Diamond. They send items ih missing parts and or damaged and refuse to rectify the problem. They re extremely inefficient and disorganized.. read more
