I had the perfect 5-star experience buying high-end appliances (Sub-Zero and Wolf) here with Jose Quezada. From selecting the appliances with Jose, to their installation several months later, it was a seamless purchase. I have bought those same appliances for several other remodels in years past from the other big dealers in town and to say the least, things did not go well throughout the process. This time, it was all good. Somehow I had never worked with Snyder Diamond before in 25 years of remodeling houses in LA and I see how much easier my life would have been had I. We just walked in the store doing a little research for an upcoming kitchen remodel (now complete) one afternoon in February and Jose was attentive, knowledgable, helpful, fun to deal with, and very competitive on price, too. I'll do another review for the installation company they work with (Best Installations), which Jose helped coordinate, that ended up being a great experience, too. That is something I've never experienced with other companies mentioned above. Again, I couldn't be happier from start to finish. I highly recommend buying your appliances from Jose... I will definitely do it again on my next remodel. read more

I have ordered a custom hood and Robert has made sure that I get exactly what I want! The process has been smooth thus far! I have had the best time doing my major bathroom renovation hugely in part due to Robert. He is so incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and extremely patient. He works with me to help me pick out the most beautiful high quality pieces including a stunning LaCava vanity and a complete Isenberg shower system. Thank you so much for all your help. If anyone needs help at Snyder Diamond they would be lucky to get Robert as their sales associate. read more

Three people in the parts department just standing around. There was nobody in the store other than a woman at the front desk. I was looking for a part and the person who helped me was so rude. I'm sorry to have bothered you but I needed a part. I was rudely informed that Snyder Diamond does not stock parts anymore and they would not order one for me - Really? Did they bother to look up the correct part number for me in their system (NO). They told me to go to the Home Depot. The empty building is indicative of their overpriced merchandise and their bad attitude. Not sure what happened but I'll never shop here again. read more

Maybe the worst delivery service I have ever had Nothing gets delivereds on time and there is always an excuse

My family has worked with Snyder Diamond for decades. They are our "go to" for all things for home and bath. The service is incredible. I've been working with Jesse and I ask you to work him him. I've trusted his opinions and his honesty in product quality and delivery so we could do things in a timely manner. Their prices are on par but when I can get it all done at one store the value is even better. read more

Thrilled to work with Willie at Snyder Diamond after an abysmal experience at Ferguson in Woodland Hills. Needed faucets and a toilet for a bathroom remodel. Willie was professional, knowledgeable and practical. He took us right to what we were looking for and provided us with what we needed at a fair price. We left as very satisfied customers. Whatever you need in the plumbing world, go to Snyder Diamond. Ask for Willie. You will not be disappointed. read more

I was looking for a new Bosch 800 dishwasher and due to supply chain issues, they were out of stock everywhere...until I found Snyder Diamond had one. The salesman, Allan, was a pro: well-informed, great to work with, and was able to sell me one on the spot. He told me they had just received a shipment of 80 and almost all were gone by the time I arrived Their new Van Nuys showroom is vast, elegantly designed and makes for a pleasant shopping experience. Jaw-dropping selection of the best brands. The only thing better about them is the awesome sales staff. I strongly recommend them for any appliance or household hardware needs. read more

Snyder Diamond: anything that has to do with plumbing in the bathroom & kitchen as well as related accessories such as towel racks, cabinets, etc. Don't know why, but they also have a fancy mailbox for sale. Snyder Diamond tends to have high end brands such as Toto, Grohe, SWC so there is some sticker shock when their cheapest kitchen faucet runs $300. So SD caters to the carriage trade although their customer service doesn't seem commensurate to the prices that they command. The service shown is business-like yet distant & a bit aloof. I suppose a $40,000 purchase will warm their hearts to show more enthusiasm. What impresses me here is their wide ranging plumbing parts department, which might be a hold over from their early days before SD started to emphasize high end goods. I went a couple of years ago to replace a part for an ancient leaking Delta bathroom faucet from the nostalgic 1960's. SD must retain an archival list going back decades while Home Depot couldn't help me at all. HD had no clue. Also, the parts guy at SD told me ways to make the installation easier when I asked him how to install it since I'm a home fix it retard. Peerless parts department that is helpful, knowledgeable, extensive, specialized, at times esoteric. That is the main strength & reason for me to go to SD. Also great for home owners with deep pockets who can spend thousands on plumbing fixtures & other related items with no thought nor care as to the cost. 3+ Yelp stars when all factors are averaged in. read more

Adding to my review from a few weeks ago thanking Jose Quezada for his excellent service at Snyder Diamond in Van Nuys. We purchased a number bathroom accessories well in advance of installation. When we mounted one of the towel bars we realized there were a few scratches. While policy would say we did not inspect them in the 7 days after receipt (it was about 2 1/2 months) Jose took care of us. Service and kind help has been as good as it gets. Simply the best. read more

The communication at this location is not good. I had been in contact with Alan trying to purchase a very specific toilet. He initially quoted me for the wrong model and when I called him back and left a message for him (at his extension) I never got a called back. I'm very persistent. So I called later in the day and was able to get a hold of him. Again, he said he would look it up and call me back. Guess what? he didn't call me back and I left yet another message. The following day..Still no call back. I ended calling the Snyder Diamond location in Santa Monica and they were incredibly helpful and the communication with Howard there was incredible. Ended up buying the toilet at that location. Didn't have a good experience with this one. So if you need something don't call Alan. read more

Willy Moreno was a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond to help me find the items I needed for a bathroom remodel. And if he didn't carry it, he found someone who did and helped me manage the order. I showed him photos of what I wanted to accomplish and Willy did the rest. It was incredibly easy to work with him and his communication was great and he didn't waste any time. Can't recommend him enough. Selection at Snyder Diamond is impressive. I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life. I needed a part for a sink, and went to the store with a photo of the sink, and the part name from my plumber. I did not have a photo of the part or know the exact part that I needed. Instead of being treated respectfully, my request and attempts to explain what I needed were met with impatience, major attitute and a raised voice by Jorge. When I asked to speak with another parts associate, Jorge responded with "I'm done with you", and later murmured "good, get out of here". Having had enough mistreatment, I asked for the manager, who was kind and connected me with Tony. Tony was patient, kind, and was able to explain what would work for my sink. The manager was respectful, apologetic, and hopefully he will speak with rude Jorge and explain to him the importance of good customer service. read more

Bought a top of the line Bosch dishwasher. After the installation, we realized that the heater didn't work. Dozens and dozens of calls were necessary to get a new one installed. The buck bounced back and forth between Snyder Diamond and Bosch and even between the various departments at Snyder Diamond. In the end, they did the right thing, but it took weeks of pestering phone calls that were never returned. Disappointed. read more

Just an update. It took about six visits from the certified repair person for Thermidor who also scratched my wall in the process of taking out pieces of my oven. I went in today to buy a washer and dryer. I pretty much knew I wanted a Speed Queen. The Dolby Theatre has had that brand for 21 years, not needing any repairs. Allan and his buddy/associate Robert were very very helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Plus giving me a comparison on the other models. I also had questions regarding a new sink faucet, and a flint for my stove. Both gentlemen listen to my questions and were more than accommodating. I would highly recommend buying from Snyder Diamond in Van Nuys , from Allan and Robert. Mary Jane read more

We just remodeled our kitchen and two bathrooms. We had shopped online and at Fergusons and Pacific Sales without much luck or much help. Our contractor told us to go to Snyder Diamond and lucky for us, we met Rob Mitchell there! We weren't sure of what we wanted - and Rob honed in our needs and thoroughly explained our choices. He had such detailed information, like the volume of water through a pot filler AND the grinding capacity of the different garbage disposals, that we felt completely comfortable with all of our decisions. We purchased EVERYTHING from appliances to fixtures - shower drains to mirrors through Rob. He kept us apprised of delivery dates, back orders and technical information that our contractor required DURING the installation. It is so rare to meet a sales person so well versed in the products and excited to compare and contrast the options - beyond just price. We will never shop anywhere else. Thank you, Rob! read more

Worst customer service. I've been a customer of Snyder Diamond for over 7 years & to be honest I feel disappointed that I constantly gave this location a chance with their parts "specialist." Not only do I personally shop here myself, I have also referred this business to many of my family, friends, & clients. I was introduced to this company when I started working in the plumbing field years ago & was told that Jorge from Snyder Diamond was a wizard of cartridges, parts, etc. During my first visit in 2015, Jorge was not working & I was assisted by an employee named Manny who gave me the hardest time to get parts. Unfortunately, although he is knowledgeable in his line of work, he does not possess customer service skills. I was assisted by Jorge & had not had a problem with until this latest incident that was way out of line. Keep in mind he had been assisting me throughout the years. Jorge was helping me with a cartridge replacement & after going back & forth with photos, he confirmed with me via email that he has the part. I walk in on Friday afternoon only to find out that Jorge was not working that day & I knew I should have walked out, but I saw an unfamiliar face behind the counter & decided to see if they were able to help me. I was confident that if I showed him the email, he would be able to grab the part for me without a problem. He told me that he's a new employee & could not find the part that Jorge deals with and proceeded to lean over to Manny who was having a difficult time assisting a customer on the phone & all I heard next was from Manny was, "Jorge does not work today & I've never seen that & to make sure to double check my email & verify that I did indeed have a confirmation." After a few moments, he turns around & says "you will need to come back & talk with Jorge." First of all, the attitude received from Manny himself is beyond disrespectful to any paying customer. Second of all, does this company only reply on one employee? Moving forward, I will take my business elsewhere. I will no longer recommend family, friends, & clients here. Please learn how to treat & take care of your loyal customers before you start losing them one by one. read more

I completely disagree with everything I read here on yelp. I decided to shop here because I was tired of replacing my shower and faucet fixtures every year or so. I was staring at all these commercial brands in an aisle at Home Depot when a man passed by and told me to go to Snyder and stop getting these cheap brands. I thought Pfister or Kohler we're great but... since I was completely remodeling my bathroom, I wanted everything to be the BEST and to last for many years. Snyder Diamond sells brands imported from all over the world and some made in US. If you want top of the line, don't come here expecting a bargain el cheapo. I came here after doing much research so I know exactly what I was looking for. I had my list, design, measurements. I even brought my tape measure. I guess that comes from being an accountant. I come prepared. When I was shopping around, I liked not to be bothered by sales people pressuring you to buy things. The people who worked here were very polite. The guy who helped me, whose name was Willy M. treated me like a VIP. First we went over his catalog because I was very picky. He gave me so many different choices to choose from and even worked with me on my budget. Some of the products were available the same day and some had to be shipped. The longest would be three weeks he said but it took about two weeks. That was fine for me since my contractor wasn't going to magically finish the bathroom construction in a short period of time. Needless to say, I am a very happy customer! I'm sharing a photo of holiday presents I bought for myself. I will go back here again when I do my kitchen project. read more

I want to acknowledge the excellent customer service we received from Robert Mitchell. We are remodeling a bathroom and found him very knowledgeable and helpful . Our bathtub was delivered with the wrong color drain ( mistake made by the manufacturer not Robert) and he personally drove to the manufacturing company in North Hollywood and then dropped the part off at our house !!!
