Service is quick once you place your order in this cute and clean space. Our family favorite is the mango bingsoo/Korean shaved ice. The mango here is sweet and perfectly ripe. The large size is good to share or not, depending on one's mood.

Snowy Village, located on Parmer Lane, offers refreshing cold treats perfect for Austin's heat. Today was an absolute scourcher.m It's a great spot for dessert, whether you're with others or on your own. The menu features Korean shaved snow (bingsu), known for its airy, milk-based texture...distinct from water-based shaved ice. Prices range from $9.95 to $17.95. I chose the strawberry sorbet, which was less expensive but equally tasty. Loved how the store owners included snowflakes on the walls and ceiling...play on the title of the store. The over store is bright and whimsical. My server was welcoming and helpful in making menu recommendations. There is ample seating for enjoying your dessert comfortably.

First time here and I came an hour before close. I loved the menu options, but was craving the classic red bean. The man was very nice after a long Sunday and I'm very grateful. My order came out fast and I was amazed by the comical large bowl. It would be really cute to share with someone or fun as a personal challenge. It's a great place to relax with friends. I most definitely will stop by whenever I visit Austin.

Went to Snowy Village for dessert after dinner and had a pretty nice experience. There was plenty of parking, which made it an easy stop. We arrived about an hour before closing and customer service was fine, nothing standout, but it seemed like the end of a long day for the staff. The shop itself was clean, well lit, and had really cute decor. They offer a lot of dessert options, but we went with the Assorted Bingsu. The mix of strawberry, mango, and blueberries made it a light, refreshing treat that really hit the spot without feeling heavy. A solid place to satisfy a late-night sweet craving!

We came by after a walk on a hot day and this was perfect! We got a shaved snow (assorted) and it was delicious. The fruit was fresh, they didn't skimp on anything, and the snow was consistent throughout. We also got a taiyaki with Nutella, which was good too but probably would just recommend the shaved snow. Service was quick and friendly. Plenty of indoor seating. Recommend for a cold dessert, perfect for a hot day or any day really.

While in Austin after dinner the kids wanted ice cream and I came across this place @snowyvillage_austin. not exactly ice cream, Snowy Village is known for their Bingsu which is a popular Korean shaved ice dessert made from finely shaved, milk-based ice, creating a fluffy, snow-like texture, topped with sweet ingredients like condensed milk, fruit, red beans, and mochi. we went with the assorted fruit Bingsu and the Mango Bingsu and it was absolutely delicious -- light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The shaved ice had a perfectly smooth, snow-like texture that melted in your mouth. The toppings were generous and fresh, from sweet fruits to chewy mochi and creamy condensed milk drizzle. we definitely enjoyed it.

Really solid spot for when you're craving some dessert, but you don't want something too heavy! I love the bingsu here, especially because they use a milk base, so it's so creamy. I also really appreciate that they layer the toppings. So you really can get some of everything in each bite.

The place is so cute and family friendly. The shaved ice is so fluffy and is dusted with alot taro and taro sauce. It's so good! They also have some cheese pastries that definitely you should eat while you're there! I would recommend sitting there to eat is all. So good! The service is nice.

We've been coming to Snowy Village for years--since the day they opened--and it's always been consistent. The staff are friendly, and there's plenty of seating inside. The drinks aren't our favorite, but we absolutely love the mango bingsu and taiyaki.

Always a delicious dessert treat! Very Korean. Only problem is that they close way too early.

After dinner, we decided to grab dessert and ended up at Snow Village. The place itself was decent and clean, and parking was easy to find since it was late at night. Unfortunately, the customer service wasn't very friendly--it felt more rushed than welcoming. We ended up taking our dessert to go, but the overall vibe left us feeling a bit unwelcome. While it's convenient that they're open late, I don't think I'd return unless it was the only option available for dessert.

Croissant Taiyaki is yummy! I got it with strawberry filling. Price of $5.25 isn't bad either. I liked how they told you exactly how long it would take to prepare, and it was indeed hot and fresh. They have wifi here too, so it's a good option for a place to do work. Plenty of parking in the strip mall.

The server gave my friend a free tiny sample bowl in addition to the big bowl she ordered so that she can try out the taro flavor she has been debating, how nice! The food is good as usual.

Are there any sugar-free bingsu options?

Definitely not. Sugar is added in the shaved milk ice as well so it's not just a matter of getting sugar free toppings.

For my flavor, I got the Sunset Beach combination with passion orange, mango, and guava, plus I added some of the Amy's Ice Cream on top that they were offering. Upon my first bite, it's truly impressive how compact the shave ice is. It doesn't even feel like shaved ice at that point and is more comparable to a popsicle in a bowl. When I arrived, a worker acknowledged me and said, "Someone will be right with you," so I didn't think I needed to ring the bell since my presence was already known and I already knew what I wanted to order. I ended up waiting at the window for about 25 minutes before anyone finally asked for my order. At that point I wanted to leave, but I had already invested so much time waiting. When I was finally helped, I politely asked how long the wait time would be after placing my order. The employee responded with "I don't know" in a way that came across very rude and full of attitude. I calmly explained that I wasn't attacking her -- I was simply asking because I had already been waiting a long time, and I had frozen groceries in my car. Unfortunately, the attitude continued. She then told me she didn't know I had been waiting because I didn't ring the bell. I explained that I had already exchanged pleasantries with another employee, so ringing the bell afterward felt unnecessary and honestly a little rude. Like girl... nobody was coming for you. I asked a simple question and got attitude for no reason. If you work customer service, acting irritated because a customer is asking about a wait time after standing there for 25 minutes is crazy. Being busy is one thing, but being rude and trying to match energy nobody even gave you is another. Can't even enjoy my d**n snowball because I'm busy writing a review about one of yall stank employees.

The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.
