this thing was HUGE, but so yummy. you gotta try one, the iconic snow bowl. always a fun place
Snowl is short for Snow Bowl. Came here Sunday evening and it was completely packed. It is spacious and seats many people. The main attention here is a shaved milk bowl with flavors of your option. There are many varieties of snowls. They also offer some spicy ricecakes, taiyaki and teas. My group got the strawberry snowl. It came with a mochi ice cream topping, sliced strawberries, popping boba and strawberry syrup. The bowl was extremely sweet and the four of us could not finish it. The snowl itself was quite large, but if it was less sweet, I think we could have finished it. The shopping mall has some parking but it can get filled pretty quickly. I imagine a lot of the spots get taken by the employees early in the day. We were able to find parking on the street nearby.
Just stopped in for a lil dessert and a drink. Got a boba and some milk tea ice cream, it was all phenomenal. We both enjoyed it a lot :) the place was real nice too. Great if you need a little spot for social media pics
Huge shaved ice for $16 but the shaved ice didn't taste milky. And I didn't like that they added so little roasted grain powder
Snowl is a cute little spot and I've been coming here for years when I want dessert whenever I'm in the area. It's super easy to order you just go to one of the kiosks and pay there and when your order is ready they'll call your number. I usually like to get the fruit shaved ice but this time we got the sweet potato one and I actually really liked it and it's perfect for fall. They have large chunks of cheesecake that are really rich and like a sweet potato sauce or puree. Can't wait to come back and have it again.
Snowl has become a go-to place for us. It has delicious treats and dairy-free drinks! Our favorites are the Ube Matcha and Ube Brown Sugar. The Taiyaki is also delicious. We love this place and the waits are never too crazy. Also available to order online! And once inside you order at kiosks!
As someone who grew up eating soft serve and thinking it was amazing, I kind of want to go back in time and tell my younger self that believe it or not, something exists that's better than soft serve and it's called a snow bowl (bingsu). Man, what an unbelievably tasty treat. Ordering is simple - step up to the kiosk, choose what you want, choose to pay at the kiosk or at the window, then just wait for your order to be called. Honestly the waiting is the worst part because once you start eating bingsu time stops so you can adequately enjoy it. Ours had grapes, strawberries, and banana slices on it and some strawberry in the center as well, so despite being full of condensed milk I can tell myself I at least ate some fruit.
We came here for dessert and chose the strawberry snowl. It was too sweet for my taste. It came with mochi ice cream, popping boba, and a lot of strawberry syrup. The portion was quite large though and it was plenty for my group of 4. Service was quite slow as we waited about 20 minutes for our order. Parking was also tough in the busy plaza, but my group eventually found street parking nearby.
Came back to Try the taiyaki- definitely not as good as the shaved ice but still solid - the fish didn't seem very fresh; though the ice cream and cookies were good!
We love having Snowl in our neighborhood. As far as places to go in the Denver metro area for "shave or shaved ice" we don't have many choices. Snowl is a fun place to enjoy a large bowl, big enough for 3 people. We haven't done it yet but they have cornhole as well as board games you can play while enjoying your dessert.
Love everything about snowl! Delish tayaki with Icecream, affordable prices and large portions! Not too sweet, well balanced and cool vibe!
It was what happened when we got summer like weather in March. The Snowl on Havana was jam packed with a long queue for ordering. Here were their famed giant Mango Snowl bowl and the Red Bean Taikayi with soft serve Matcha ice cream. Needless to say, these were very tasty and satisfying as usual.
The reason why I'm giving this a 2 star is due to the cost and poor service. I had won (2) $10 gift cards to here so decided to take my daughter here to check it out. My daughter just wanted an ice cream cup with strawberries and I went to order the strawberry croffle. The lady told me they don't have strawberries to top on ice cream. I asked her if they were out because I was going to order the strawberry croffle and she told me that they have them for the croffle but they don't use them as a topping for their ice cream. I couldn't even pay more to have it added. It felt like poor customer service and didn't make a lot of sense. Instead we just got her fruity pebbles as a topping. I go check out and once the transaction was completed, I looked at the receipt and noticed that they were only giving me $18.52 credit out of $20 gift cards. I asked the woman why I wasn't getting the full $20 and she said that it takes out tax. I told her that didn't make any sense, as I've never had money taken out of the value of a gift card for tax, especially since you're already paying tax. So you pay tax on the gift card and tax on the purchase? She said that's just how the store does it. I thought it was very scammy and she didn't want to be bothered. The strawberry croffle was good but this place is expensive and screws you out of gift card money for "tax." They also will put strawberries for one item but not for another, even when offering to pay more money. We also grabbed a banana bread pudding to go. The pudding was good but there was too much bread in it. I included a picture of the receipt to show the experience. Overall I wouldn't come back. Poor customer service at its finest.

Great spot for late night sweet fix. Super cute, very trendy always busy. I've only ever gotten the taiyaki cup with taiyaki, ice cream and toppings. The taiyaki are little delicious fish shaped waffle cakes filled with red bean, nutella, or sweet potato. Lots of people just stop in for drinks. The snow bowls are huge so you probably need a friend to share with. read more

I love this place! Decor is cute and the desserts make you smile with your belly! Great food late nights and first dates. I got the mango shaved ice and man was it good! Naturally, this doesn't compare to shaved ice cream in Southern California, but it's one of the top in the Midwest. read more
Love their drinks and the chocolate taiyaki. I didn't know that you could do the taiyaki without ice cream, we ate all 5. You go in and order in the kiosk. The atmosphere is super cute and Instagrammable. Don't love that you really don't interact with the staff since you order on the kiosk. Won't deter us from going back but just interesting set up. read more
Fun and cozy. Literally the best hangout with the girls. Wish there was more places that had this vibe. My favorite thing to get here is the Taiyaki! It is the dessert of the future! Hope more people find this place so they can open more locations! If you need a good place to hang out and do your homework or just have a quick drop in for a yummy treat, this is your place. It's perfectly located as well! Just down the street from my nursing school. Their mango and strawberry snow bowls are huge and perfect thing to share with friends. They're about $12 each or so much they're amazing! read more
I always wished that we have more Asian desserts in Colorado. My wished is coming true. SNOWL was my 1st stop before I knew Meet Fresh for Asian desserts. They do have great spicy rice stick. I am not a big fan of rice cake. However, they have an excellent rice stick here. I would get it again!! The shave ice was also excellent. Highly recommended for a gathering place to meet up with a friends!!! read more

I've dined here for years and years and it's a wonderful charmed place to take friends and even continue a date after dinner. This is solely dessert and very unique because it's Korean!! The lobby and the entire cafe is extremely adorable and cute. Very catered to the Gen Z crowd for sure. read more
Great atmosphere. Tasty cold treats. Lots of seating for small or big friend gatherings. Snowl is a must for dessert. It's tucked away in the plaza with other amazing Asian restaurants, so it's just s convenient walk after your dinner. The staff is very friendly and your order comes out fast. I opted for nutella and green tea ice cream. It was absolutely delicious and visually appealing! Such a cool place come check them out! read more

I was in the mood for tapioca so I did some research on Yelp and found Snowl. First impression is that the interior is pretty neat with the illuminating clouds hanging from the ceiling. There was plenty of seating so I could definitely see this place as a good option for meeting up with friends. I purchased a small milk tea w/tapioca for $4.32. That's actually quite expensive compared to what I'm used to paying for the same drink in a bigger cup. I forgot to adjust the sugar level of the milk tea so it was way too sweet for me. The tapioca balls could have used some improvement too since they were a bit chewier than I would have liked. I wish I would have tried another one of their desserts instead. read more

their mango snow is HUGEEE i would say 3-4 ppl can share this if you are already ordering boba and other drinks. I also had their taiyaki ice cream and this was probably my favorite thing, the best topping was the cinnamon toast crunch on the milk tea soft serve. i also loved that you can order on their kiosks. This was my boyfriends favorite restaurant or boba spot in Denver, so definitely a must try. read more

I'm so excited to have Snowl as a new addition to the Asian food landscape in Parker. Now I just need to make sure I save the space for dessert after ramen or Korean BBQ (LOL). I tried out their signature taiyaki (stuffed fish-shape pancake) with both chocolate and red bean paste fillings. Fresh out of the pan the taiyaki pancake was nice and soft. The chocolate filing wasn't too sweet which I preferred. The red bean paste was smooth and creamy. Since the taiyaki pancake was so good, I think I'll come back next time to try out their taiyaki ice cream. Interior of Snowl is nice and clean. Lots of seating and I can see this place being a good spot for work or studying. I highly recommend Snowl. read more

Been here a few times! Really enjoyed the boba drinks! Although I finally got to try the TteokBokKi for $16.95. I was a little disappointed. It was okay and very watery. I don't think it was worth the price. I definitely would come back but to only get the boba drinks! read more

Taste is great, but they are getting skimpy. Raise the price or lower the servings. Don't trick your customer with half filled potion. read more

After a hefty meal at Seoul Korean BBQ & Hot Pot, my family and I decided to stop here for post-meal desserts! We ordered the strawberry ice bowl and taiyaki. The wait was a bit long but understandable considering the load of customers! The desserts were delicious!!! And the establishment was very cute with their decor. Would come again if in the Denver area. read more

This place have a lot of options for everyone to choose. We got the strawberry shaved ice and it's quite refreshing. I would say the size is pretty for the price! Totally recommended for a good dessert place for a hot summer day! read more

It really is like snow cream! It is the consistency of "powdery snow" that is lightly sweetened with toppings of choice. SOooo good!!! read more

Originally I had planned on giving this place three stars because they lacked toppings in their snow bowls. But it seems recently they've stepped up their game and increased the toppings. As one of the few snow bowl places- they've down a great job in increasing their serving size, service, and decor. I would recommend sticking to the snow bowls here as the fish cone ice creams are kinda overrated in my opinion. The fish cone eventually gets soggy and leaves you wishing you had a regular cone instead. read more

We got the matcha snow bowl. Matcha mochi ice cream on top of matcha shaved ice with slivered almonds and sweet red beans, it was heavenly in the mouth. The taiyaki is something you have to get. Don't be shy of the sweet potato. Embrace it. It's a lovely, delicate flavor, and they make it to order so it's a pleasant, light, airy texture. read more

Beautiful on the inside, great customer service, and delicious desserts! The cashier was incredibly helpful when I told him it was mine and my friend's first time. He explained the process of ordering from the menu and was patient. We came on a Sunday afternoon and the place was already filled with people. We ordered a "Taiyaki" - milk tea flavor, Nutella filled on the bottom, with Fruity Pebbles and chocolate sprinkles for toppings. We also ordered a Green Tea "Snow Bowl". It was topped with red bean and a green tea mochi. Both incredibly delicious. I will definitely be making a few visits! read more

I absolutely adore this place! The ambience is really cute and has nice background settings for pictures. We went around 8 pm and it was super busy but fun! The ordering process was simplified with the kiosks up front. There was a small wait for our order but it was worth it. I loved the taiyaki waffle cone and the ice cream was delicious and light. Would definitely come again! read more

I drove all the way from downtown Denver seeking one of my favorite Asian desserts, and I was not disappointed! This place gets crowded, but the line moves pretty quickly. If you're reading this review and have never had Taiyaki and Ice Cream before come here and get it!!! I got the Taiyaki in a bowl and was very pleased. I've never had it in a bowl before, and honestly I don't know why. It saves you from the mess that is a cone. I got red bean taiyaki, milk tea ice cream, with oreos and animal crackers. The Taiyaki was nice and soft. I wish it were a little hotter, but that's not a huge deal. The ice cream was fantastic! I was upset not to just get vanilla, but the milk tea was amazing. Definitely worth a try. The toppings situation was weird. They don't have it listed on the board which makes me think they rotate. Pretty basic toppings, no flash. They don't crumble the oreos up or anything. For a city that frequently disappoints with Asian food, I was very happy here. read more

This place is right next to Katsu Ramen and is perfect for dessert right after dinner. This area has definitely revamped itself with a few new Asian restaurants. This place offers shaved snow bowls, boba and Taiyaki ice cream. I came here specifically to try the Taiyaki ice cream. Taiyaki is a fish-shaped cake that often has red bean paste in it. When you first walk in it's light and bright and all I can think of is how photogenic this place is. Lots of bright colors and lights , but just enough white to give it a modern, clean look. The colored chairs are extra, extra comfy. I can definitely sit there for a couple hours reading or visiting with friends. As you walk in you can order at the counter. For the Taiyaki ice cream you can just have the cup ($3.75), just the taiyaki($5.95) , or taiyaki in a cup($5.95). I opted for the taiyaki in a cup. Then you pick your filling of red bean or nutella, I got nutella. You get 4 choices of ice cream which are milk tea, matcha, honeydew or black Sesame . I decided on the classic matcha. After choosing your ice cream you get to pick 2 toppings for free and any additional toppings are 50 cents. I got the fruity pebbles and chocolate sprinkles. I think they're still figuring out which toppings are best for these, as they had the toppings of choice in a cup for each topping. The ice cream was pretty good, but I really enjoyed the Taiyaki. My friend ordered the milk tea and I'd highly recommend trying that flavor out. It has a very subtle tea taste that helps offset the sweetness of the rest of the ingredients. There aren't too many places that offer the Taiyaki ice cream in the Denver metro area. So, overall I really enjoyed the Taiyaki ice cream and will be back for more. I also think Snowl is the perfect compliment to the rest of the restaurants in the area. read more

Snowl is a trendy and hip dessert place serving GOOD asian-centric goodies. FINALLY, I've been waiting for the day where I can get matcha, black sesame, and ube flavored soft serve and snow bowls. There was nothing more sad than coming back to Denver from California or NYC and knowing that I couldn't get my fix of asian flavored desserts. Snowl changed that...and I am so grateful. This place is clean, cute, and it's cozy. It provides the perfect atmosphere to sit back with a group of friends and indulge in Asian flavored desserts. Their snow bowls hit the spot during a hot day (actually any day...). We ordered their black sesame snow bowl and another snow bowl with an assortment of fruit. This place has HUGE servings, I would say a bowl can easily feed 2-3 people. It comes with plenty of toppings that provide flavor in every bite and they top it off with mochi ice cream. The rest of our part ordered their milk tea soft serve with taiyaki. It. Was. So. Stinking. Good. After trying a little bit of the milk tea soft serve I wanted to order some for myself, but we had more than enough with our two snow bowls. read more
