Yummy. We had the black sesame snowl and it was delicious- definitely for sharing. A big sesame (?) mochi topped the bowl and there was a good balance of condensed milk, red bean, almonds, and black sesame. We will be back for the taiyaki and boba. The shop is clean and spacious; service is fairly fast, and there were plenty of seats. It was also 10 degrees when we went so I'm sure it's busier in the warmer months. read more

Absolutely amazing shaved ice (more like fluffy snow than shaved ice). The macaroons are delicious and airy if you're a fan of the treat. Their Boba is pretty on part with most other places. I do think their Lychee Jelly tastes better than a few other places I've been to. If I could eat here every day I would. read more

I came here for a snow bowl before catching my flight back to Kansas City, and got the milk snow. They also serve taiyaki (fish shaped pastries) with ice cream, bubble tea, and snacks. The milk bowl was milk shaved snow with a condensed milk drizzle, and finished with mochi and red bean paste on top. The bowl was huge, and I legitimately mean it. It was practically an entree sized bowl. It definitely needed two people to finish it, but unfortunately, since I was traveling alone, I had to attempt the feat myself. The snow was delicious! Nice and fluffy and not overly sweet, melting quickly in your mouth. The mochi and red bean were a nice touch adding good texture variation throughout the bowl of snow. I finished about 3/4th of it before I had to leave in order to catch my flight, and my only regret was not finding out about this place until my last day in Denver! If I'm ever back in Denver, I'll be sure to stop by! read more

My wife noticed this place while we were waiting to get into the ramen place next door so, of course, what is better after ramen than ice cream? I vaguely remember seeing Taiyaki on a Yelp email way back when so I recognized it as soon as we walked in. They give you soft serve in a fish looking waffle coated with nutella (in our case). How could you possibly say no? It was really good! We did notice the insanely big oversized snow cones in bowls that other people had so we might have to try that next time. They also have boba, which is a favorite of time! The place itself is really cool in that Asian chic sort of way. Reminded me a lot of Los Angeles (not in a bad way). read more

Snowl was POPPIN' at 10pm to say the least!! I've had Korean shaved ice other places in Colorado, but Snowl tops my list. This is the closest I've had to the legit Korean shaved ice places in L.A.. I highly recommend the roasted grain powder and green tea bowls. Keep in mind that these are HUGE, and can be shared amongst at least a couple people each!! They also have taiyaki (the fish-shaped waffles filled with chocolate or red bean) that they make to order and I also highly recommend! read more

Snowl has a really cool self ordering system that is very in tune with how most of Asia's dessert spots does it's ordering so I love their ode to forward technology. I ordered the Sweet Potato Cheese Cake Snow and I have high regards on this one. It's so delicious. The name "sweet potato" sounds off putting to most westerns but man this is like a cheesecake heaven bowl. The sweet potato is very sweet and has a slight nuttyness that is very well balanced with the cheesecake bits. I love this stores concept and I believe there is a dessert for everyone. Will be back! read more

I went here for a Stray Kids pop-up but the food and ambience was everything! Clean, bright, and airy I swear I could've spent all day here.

I wanted this to be our next favorite family dessert place because it's a cute little hangout spot and they play good music. But... Their shaved milk dessert is mediocre at best. I ordered a fruit Snowl and the fruit was over ripe. The bananas were brown and the grapes were sour and not in a good way. We also ordered a taro ice cream cup which was good. The taro ice cream cup looked full but, they deceitfully only filled the outer part of the cup with ice cream and the middle of the cup was completely hollow. I don't know about y'all, but if I'm paying around $20.00 for shaved snow and ice cream the least they could do is add an extra ounce of ice cream and fill the cup. To top it off the staff acted like we were doing THEM a disservice by coming in and paying $20 for shaved milk. Rude service from the moment I walked up to the cashier. No smile, no thank you and no extra cup. Not even if you ask politely. They point you in the direction of the water station and tell you "use that one over there". I'll take their advice and "use that one over there" and never come back. I'll stick to the nice froyo place north on Havana. read more

Atmosphere: Casual, aesthetically pleasing Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 I've been away from Colorado for about a year now and of course that's when my beloved home pops up with a ton of new restaurants and dessert places. Snowl was trending on all my friends posts when it first opened up and I was determined to go. Luckily, it was on my way home from the airport and I was stoked to try it. When I walked in, snowl was decorated so cute! They have floating clouds and cute light up signs and little plants throughout. Before looking at the menu, I already knew I was going to get the taiyaki with ice cream after perusing other people's reviews and posts. What I didn't know is that their ice cream was limited to five flavors, which didn't include vanilla (basic of me, I know) and the toppings were super limited. I ended up getting green tea ice cream with fruity pebbles and red bean filling. I was a little bummed because I wanted mochi topping but they said they couldn't do it. Overall: the red bean filling was pretty sparse and I didn't feel like it was anything special overall other than the taiyaki on top. I did hear their bing Soo is super good so I'll probably go back to try that. read more

So...it is snow with an "l?" Is it a mash up of snow owl? Is it a Pokemon?! I may never know how to pronounce it, but what I do know is that it's a great spot to satisfy your dessert cravings. The main draws here are their huge shaved ice bowls and taiyaki ice cream cups. They also have boba drinks and hot snack food like dukbokki. For this visit I ordered a few taiyaki (stuffed with Nutella or red bean) to take on the road for snack and a milk tea ice cream cup. No biggie, but the snacking taiyaki were slightly smaller than the ones used in the dessert cups. Also while the red bean ones were stuffed to the brim. The Nutella ones were sadly deprived of that gooey, chocolately filling and instead were filled with extra batter as a filler. Now for the real star of the snow, the taiyaki ice cream cup! Ordering is pretty simple, you choose your taiyaki filling, ice cream flavor and 2 toppings. I opted for the milk tea ice cream as my base. The milk tea was so light in flavor it basically was vanilla ice soft serve, which isn't a bad thing. Don't be fooled by the cup's wee, adorable appearance. As a whole it's very filling because of the taiyaki, and I even recommend sharing it. read more

Having heard of this shaved ice plave for a while, we decided to give it a try. First walking in, I could tell that this place was quite popular for getting together and hanging out as we saw many groups of friends chitchatting. The inside decor was really cute and fun. Parking is kinda hit or miss as this place is located in a small complex that there is limited parking. The menu selection was pretty good. For the shaved ice, one bowl is plenty for two people unless you love to try different flavors. The ice texture is unique, not the same as the one you can get in Hawaii. The taste was pretty good but we had a high bar when reading some reviews here. I would say it was not a wow reaction from us. We tried two flavors and agreed that they were ok. read more

I just realized I have never reviewed Snowl and can't believe it. This is one of two spots that I always introduce people to and have been in love with it since I first found it last year. The atmosphere is so fun and unique, from the clouds hanging from the ceiling, the giant stuffed bear and the fun seating. My favorite thing to get here is the tayaki and ice cream (little chocolate filled pastries made fresh on site and shaped like fish) but also really like the snow bowls to share with friends. The closest thing I can compare them to is shaved ice but instead of regular ice it tastes like it's made out of sweetened condensed milk- not quiet ice cream but light, sweet and lovely. They are giant though! Bring a buddy to share with. read more

Oh my gosh Snowl! The first time I had this type of "snow cone" blew me away! I still don't know how they make it but the shaved snow they make back there is just out if this world and literally changes the whole dynamic of the experience. This place serves very soft and gently shaved snow with lots of flavors and toppings on it. I usually get the green tea shaved snow with fruit and nut toppings on it. There is so much flavour in each bite and all the extra toppings just pulls it all together especially the chewy stuff they add in there (don't know what it is but I love it). Such a delight to have during the hot summer. I wish my kids were old enough to enjoy this dessert with me. If you're looking for a cute spot to enjoy some not so typical ice cream/ snow cone with some friends and family try this spot, I bet you'll be back for seconds and thirds! read more

I loved everything about this place! Very cute and simple design with floating clouds everywhere. I ordered a taiyaki filled with red bean with green tea ice cream in a cup. After ordering, I was given a little cute pager as I waited for my treat to be ready. I was a little bummed with the topping choices, there were only four and they didn't have any fruity pebble cereal or little Oreos like the previous yelp reviews, so I'm not sure if they switch out? I really wish they had mochi or maybe even an option for fresh fruit with a bit of an extra charge. However, i really liked the flavor of the ice cream! The matcha flavor was strong and sweet but not overly sweet. The taiyaki was freshly made, I'm not really sure if it's made to order all the time but it was for me when I went. The bathroom was also really clean, with a cute design and a basket of chalk to write a note on the wall... I opted not to do that, the idea of someone using the toilet and not washing their hands before picking up the chalk crossed my mind. read more

Horrible service. Not friendly and no one smiles. Too many signs of what you have to do: if ordering to-go then cannot eat inside, must throw trash away at back of store and return everything at the front of the store. I ordered the snow bowl and when it was time to pickup I smiled and said thank you but no smile was returned. When finished eating I threw my trash away and brought the bowl and plate to the front to give to the cashier but he just said no firmly and told me to place it where pickup is. As I was exiting the door to leave the girl yells across the entire store "where are the spoons?" Rude of her to tell across store in my opinion. I told her I guess I accidentally threw them in the trash. She immediately said it will cost me 50 cents. It was an accident. To me it seemed so cheap of them to have to yell across the store to make me seem like a thief. Some suggestions: if you own a customer-based business then you should at least have better customer service. I dont mind throwing away my trash but there should be a place to set your returnable bowls and plates near the trash instead of making customers walk back up to pickup to return them. Need to train employees to smile, be friendly, and not accuse customers of stealing utensils or anything else for that matter. It's a shame because I was planning to take my cousin and her kids here too but not anymore. I usually dont write bad reviews but this service upset me. I ended up going to Volcano Tea to get a drink and their the customer service was day and night compared to this place. read more

My thoughts from a recent visit on a Sunday afternoon with my wife and two kids: What I liked: - Their products are very tasty and well made. My daughter had a lychee boba slush, which she seemed to enjoy. My wife and son shared a plain milk snow, while I had a taiyaki (Japanese fish shaped pastry) "filled" with Nutella on top of matcha soft serve in a cup. The taiyaki was warm and crispy with an appropriate level of sweetness and the matcha ice cream had good matcha flavor and refreshing. What I'd like to see improve: - They only have one size for their snow bowls. For those who've never had it before, snow ice is basically shaved sweet cream, which they do well here by how light, fluffy and delicate it is. However, the bowls they provide are fairly large and meant to share, but also priced pretty high in my opinion. The plain milk snow we had was $7.50 but if you get any of their fancier offerings, they surpass $10. Here's the problem - what if you are by yourself and would like to get one of their snow bowls? You'll have to pay at least $7.50 (but more likely more than $10) for something which you might not be able to finish because they only offer one size. - While I really did enjoy the taiyaki with matcha ice cream that I had, I was disappointed by a couple of things. The taiyaki was hollow and didn't have very much Nutella filling. They have two different taiyaki there. If you order the taiyaki by itself, you get a cake which has the filling enclosed within. If you order the taiyaki with ice cream, you get a cake that is hollowed out. I wish they would've made that clearer because I was expecting a whole taiyaki with much more filling inside. You can take a look at the picture I've attached. - I wish there was a customize your own bowl option. Their snow bowl offerings all look pretty good but it'd be even nicer if you could choose which toppings you want. read more

Love ! The portions are big so share. Snow bowls are the best. It's so pretty inside too.

The service here was alright at best, they were really busy (not a table open when we first arrived) but the younger staff members looked like they all hated being at work, I don't think I caught one smile in the house. I will say, none of them were rude, but I also didn't get the feeling that customers were really appreciated at all. It was hard to tell if the portions were fair here. They told us it'd be 15-20 minutes for a Taiyaki so we opted for a cup. I don't think it was too much or too little but it was hard to tell with the way they filled the cup. They gave us these awkwardly small spoons which made it hard to eat quickly and compacted the issue if hollow filling the cups since the ice cream melted rather quickly as a result. Overall it was good enough for me to come back and give them another try. I hope to have a better experience next time. read more

Great soft serve with a taiyaki waffle cone! I tried the milk tea ice cream. The soft serve is tasty, the flavor of the milk tea is very mild so it's closer to a vanilla soft serve. It would be cool if they introduced more toppings, not just the 4 options they gave us (mainly cereal and sprinkles). The place has a great ambiance, it's a nice size for an ice cream shop and the table and chairs are cozy. It was very busy on a weekend and parking gets pretty full with this place in a small but busy shopping center with other popular restaurants nearby. We will be coming back to try the snow bowl with a group, it looked yummy. read more
