Best place to get a amazing boba or snack!! I love it there and the vibe is just right!!

Exceeded my expectations - highly recommend. I kept seeing all these photos on Instagram with "Snowl" in the background & thought people were at Snowlab every time. When I finally realized there was a new place called Snowl, I knew I needed to give it a try! They have a really elaborate, delicious, authentic menu. Being a picky eater, I liked (& was used to) Snowlab where I had the option of ordering American flavors instead of Asian flavors so I was taken aback by Snowl until I tried the taro ice cream... then it was game over. It was sweet but not sickeningly sweet, & their taiyaki are so yummy! I also tried some of my friend's mango snow bowl, which was also very tasty. I love how light & fluffy their snow is. They even had mango flavored, star shaped jellies in there which were a nice touch. The atmosphere of the place is also lovely - great decorations, giving it a very homey & modern feel. I was expecting it to be much smaller than it was - the cafe spans quite a bit of area! This place isn't cheap, however, the portions are huge & can easily be shared amongst multiple people. I can't wait to come back & try something new. read more

Wow it was so cute and trendy you could just put the whole place on your Instagram! I loved my first time. It's spacious and great for just hanging out. It They have such a variety on their menu, it was refreshing!! They have shaved ice bowls, taiyaki, taiyaki ice cream, teas, milk tea/boba, and a savory korean snack I've never heard of. We ordered a milk snow bowl thay comes with milk flavored shaved ice, condensed milk drizzled on top, some red bean and mochi on top. It was super refreshing and tasty! We also got chocolate filled taiyaki, which was good but a little too doughy. It needed more chocolate filling. Otherwise it still was pretty good! I probably will be back to try everything!~~~ read more

Love the interior of this place. Seemed a little pricey for the bingsu but actually the portion is really generous. We split the green tea ice with 6 people but couldn't finish it still--granted, we did just eat ayce Korean BBQ. The only off-putting part was my interaction with the service members. They seemed annoyed that I asked for more spoons for bingsu. Also, when I bussed the tray and etc back to them they were annoyed I didn't throw away the things first near the store front. It seemed kind of unintuitive to set up the store this way. I only had the green tea ice, but I thought it was really tasty. I liked that it was topped with a matcha flavored mochi as well. Red bean paste always goes well with matcha, and I loved the addition of the sliced almonds. My friend ordered a few drinks that I didn't get to taste, however I did notice some confusion in our group as the drinks weren't labeled so we didn't remember what was which. read more

I'm no soft serve expert, but I do know what I like and I believe that Snowl does a decent job on their soft serve. I've had soft serve back home in Socal and had some in Japan too! The texture of their soft serve is not as creamy as I would like it (and what I'm used to) - it was more icy. It definitely was sweet so there were no lack of sugar, but there was a lack of fat content.. this is what usually makes it more creamy and rich... which is what I prefer. I do feel it is a bit pricey for the quality.. but so far its like the only taiyaki soft serve establishment in Denver.. great business opportunity to open more! lolol.... With that said.. I still like it here because it reminds me of home (convoy street in SD).. and I'm a bit homesick. This takes me back to that crowded parking lots of convoy street (which I hated), but for the purpose of satisfying my familiarity of SD.. I don't mind it.. for now lol. Really like the decor in here specifically the cloud lights. I'll come back here occasionally. read more

Chill atmosphere - tasty treats and drinks - also games and chill spots. Come for the mango bowl or Taiyaki - both are great

Oh my god, this place checks all the boxes for me. Snow bowls, boba, tea, AND ice cream? Yes, please. And it is THE CUTEST little café I've ever seen. I mean seriously: I really don't care that much about ambiance in general but this place is ADORABLE. My partner and I brought it a board game and played while we ate and drank (he had a coffee boba that was the perfect blend of sweet and bitter while I had a Taro ice cream in the Taiyaki (a soft waffle cone shaped like a fish) coated with Nutella. The only downsides: the snow bowls are pretty pricey at $10/ea compared to Snow Lab which I think is around $6-$8, but I have no idea what the sizing is so that could be the reason for the difference in price. Also, the bathrooms are on a motion sensor timer that only stays on for about a minute, so you'll have to wave at it the entire time you're on the potty unless you're a fidgeter. read more

[Covid review] Went around 6pm on a weekday and it was already pretty busy -- maybe 4 other groups? There was hand sanitizer readily available and lots of signage about precautions. The tables in the central area were a bit crowded together though for proper social distancing. Service was fairly fast for our big order. The shaved ice was a little less smooth and rich than I'm used to. My friend guessed it was because they didn't use condensed milk? Unsure whether that's the case, but portions were huge and the bowl is better described as a bucket. I was a much bigger fan of the taiyaki with ice cream. The matcha ice cream was delicious and not too sweet, and the taiyaki was fresh. Definitely would love to get it again. read more

I'm really conflicted about this business. If I were to rate Snowl purely on food alone, I'd give a 4/5 stars. It wasn't super fantastic, but It didn't suck. Shaved ice cream is a pretty nifty concept and the boba drinks are just the run of the mill. The filled waffles were okay, I just wish the filling was more in the middle rather than towards the end of the waffle. Now the reason I had such a negative experience was the customer service. We came around 30 minutes to closing and as we were ordering we were told that they were in their closing hour, which was totally fine. We got our order within a timely fashion, but as we pick up our order we are told rather aggressively "we expect you to leave by 11". This is a very rude way to speak to a customer and that was strike 1. We have a fairly large group in our family and we require more spoons because we intended on sharing the desserts. One of my cousins and I went to pick up spoons and after we asked for about 8 spoons, the employee at the front grabs a handful and shoved them into my hands (strike 2). The last straw was as were about to leave they demanded that we wipe our table down. We understand taking our trash away but you cannot tell your customers to wipe down tables. Strike 3!! After an awkward confrontation between the staff and one of my other family members, we were told that it was their policy to kick everyone out of the establishment exactly at 11 and If we read the signs carefully that our tables needed to be cleaned. I've literally never heard of a business in the service industry operate this way. This is absolutely disgusting and ruin the whole experience. The staff were so rude to the point where I cannot in good conscious give this establishment a good rating. read more

wide selection of treats and snacks. very friendly workers, cute little shop and my ice cream was delicious!!

I really appreciate the kiosks (with sanitizer available) that Snowl added as of 2020. Although it's pretty standard for boba drinks, the wrapped straws and sealed plastic lids make me feel better about picking up drinks for a crowd. I recently learned about the fruit teas, and they are my new go-to. The passion fruit green tea is amazing. read more

I first tried a snow bowl in VA and have been dreaming about the day that I do get to try one again. Snowl was the perfect opportunity for that. I took my sister who had never been and we tried the chocolate snow bowl and the rice cakes. We loved both! The snowl was light and delicious, kept you full without feeling bloated like ice cream does. My sister loved it too. The rice cakes were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside and the sauce was delish! I cannot wait to go back and try this place again read more

// Summary Wonderful asian dessert place that has milk teas, slushies and smoothies, shaved snow (bingsu), ice cream, and taiyaki - what more can you ask for? // Experience I ordered a taiyaki and milk tea and green tea ice cream, and I wasn't expecting much, but dang was it good. The taiyaki had a good balance of crispiness and chewiness to it, and the ice cream had great texture and was at the right level of sweetness. I definitely want to try some of their other desserts. // Service You simply order at the screens, you get a number, and your order is available at the counter in a timely manner. // Ambiance They have a great space to them, with plenty of seats and tables for socializing. // Convenience It's pretty easy to get to, but the parking lot can be packed sometimes. Not too sure what the parking situation around the area is like, but keep that in mind. read more

Good boba, pretty good taiyaki, and very mediocre snow bowls. I've come here for boba in the past and have always been pleased. Seems to be cheaper here than a lot of other boba places too. The taiyaki is pretty good, nothing amazing, but it's pretty solid. The snow bowls are extremely mediocre at best. My boyfriend got the chocolate and I got the green tea and both of us were disappointed. Neither were very good and they were pricey for what you actually get. Everyone is saying they are "so big" but the majority of it is ice milk. Not ice cream, ice milk. There is a HUGE difference between the two and I personally prefer ice cream, especially if I'm going to be spending $30. read more

Definitely come here if you're craving something sweet! Cute dessert shop to hang out with friends after dinner. The decor here is adorable. I was impressed with the vast selection of items on the menu. Ultimately decided on the taiyaki with milk tea ice cream, which was DIVINE. The ice cream has more of a soft serve/froyo texture, so it was incredibly light to eat and not overwhelming! Ohmygoodness the Nutella and fish-shaped cone was sooooo good paired with the ice cream. I will definitely be back! read more

Stopped by because we were waiting for a table at the ramen spot next door, and this was the perfect place for a pre-meal snack. Their seating is plentiful and it looks like it's a great hang out spot. They also use a kiosk ordering system, which I'm sure is great for moving people quickly and also looked like a great way to manage all the options you have! We got the 5 Taiyaki and they were hot and crispy, with a perfectly sweetened red bean filling. I've had my fair share of taiyaki at a few places in LA and I loved that they kept the little crisps on the outside as it came out of the mold. I know it's more "picture-perfect" the other way, but I loved getting to enjoy those thin, crispy edges. I can't wait to go back, specifically to try their snow ice cream! read more

What a unique and authentic asian dessert location in Denver. My wife and daughter had gone to Japan over the summer and keep on raving about the shaved ice with condensed milk they had. I know snow cones, this is nothing like a snow cone. It's a world apart. We had the Green Tea Shaved Ice and it was like nothing I have experienced. The "shaved" ice was more like angle hair frozen goodness. Melt in your mouth flavors that were refreshing and not too sweet. The sweet bean paste could make this dessert a decent option for a full meal, rather than just a dessert. I love mochi, and liked how they topped the bowl with one, making it into a fun tower of decadence. I will be back to try more of their wide multitude of tasty options. I even got the frequent flier card, knowing I'll take full advantage of their loyal customer rewards. read more

Wow it was super packed on a Sunday night. Which meant finding parking in that tiny plaza was HELL. We shared one of the snow bowls amongst the 4-5 of us and it was a good portion. We also shared an order of taiyaki which took such a long time to make. I think it was over 20 min. My friend went to check up on it to make sure it wasn't forgotten and it seemed like the owner was the one who was speaking to her but she (owner) seemed so upset that we didn't know it would take a long time. 5-10 min later we got our order. Took so long to make, yet took 2 min to devour. We got the sweet potato filling. Definitely a neat place to hang out but on a weekend night is probably the hardest to find parking and a place to sit! read more

Aesthetically speaking this place is a 4/5. Cute decors, open seating... lots of seating actually. Instagram-worthy Customer service 5/5. The girl at the counter was very sweet and didn't huff and puff when I asked questions, she explained everything efficiently. Taiyaki ice cream 2/5. The Taiyaki was only good for pics. The ice cream is mediocre, I had green tea and Nutella in the inside. It wasn't anything memorable tbh, I've had better. The ice cream didn't really taste like it should, kinda taste like ice.. like when you put your ice cream in the freezer for too long and you try to take it out and eat it. Yeah it tastes like that disappointed. I'd come back to try boba or something else but definitely not for the ice cream. read more
