I mean-ski people and beach people are the same people so take a brewery that can take a tap room which perfectly meshes beachy and alpine vibes-SOLD! The beer was delish-I had the "diet" IPA with a lower APV and my husband had a double IPA which was excellent. The honey buffalo wings and truffle fries were the perfect beer snacks! Up in Mt Snow for a weekend with friends and was recommended to Snow Republic from Marc at Snowmobile Vermont. Had a variety of IPAs, a very tart sour and hard kombucha on draft! The food was excellent!! Our group tried the fried chicken sandwich (SOOO Good!!!) the burger - very tasty, wings - sauce was delicious and the fries were great. The beer is good, but the food is amazing! Definitely one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've had, and they sell some high quality fries too. Their beer did not stand out to me and I probably would not come back just for drinks. Don't get me wrong, it's good beer. It's just not a place you would go out of your way to visit like some other VT breweries ;) I went on a rainy day, so we were unable to utilize their outdoor seating area. We visited all three days that we were in Dover to ski at Mount Snow. Loved the atmosphere, friendly staff, great beers, and Ziggy the bar dog, perhaps the most friendly dog I've ever met. We had our own dog with us for the trip and appreciated this as one of the few places in town she could go inside with us. Fun place to hang out, whether in their outdoor or indoor areas. Plenty of seating available as well. I did a tasting flight which was four pours for $14. I tried two of their brewed beers and two others. I got the strawberry Pegasus stout and oatmeal cookie stout (snow republic), as well as peasant king (Burlington beer) and hard kombucha (June shine). Unfortunately I preferred the drinks from the other brewers better..though I'm not much of a stout person in general. The staff was still nice and I felt like they were doing a good job with Covid precautions - they had sanitizer on every table and had a one way flow of traffic through the indoor area. I sat outside and we thoroughly enjoyed the food from the food truck - we got the maple wings and salt and Vinegar fries. I'm not local, but I enjoyed the atmosphere enough to come back next time I'm in town and give some of their other beers a try! read more

Such a great brewery ! Was staying in Vermont for the weekend with friends and was recommended to stop here while in town , and had a great time ! Ended up coming here two days in a row to enjoy some brews and delicious food from the truck outside and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere is great with games everywhere and a friendly knowledgeable team . They make great recommendations if you're looking to try something new , and even sell growlers to take it back home . They also allow pups , and ours had a blast ! Two visits in 2 days tells you all you need to know. Oh, it doesn't? Ok....I'll continue. Nice large log cabin building. Open space with plenty of seats (14-16) at the bar, assorted couches, a large bean bag and some high-top tables too. Plenty of board games, chess/checkers, plus a nice pool table (could use another straight stick), a long shuffleboard table (needs new pucks), an air hockey table (turn on by cord near the couch), and a foosball table. So much to do to occupy some time here. I was only here for the craft beer, but they have wine and limited spirits too. Thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate porter. Very well balanced. Sampled a Pale Ale and Hemp IPA and they were solid too. Very impressed with the quality for a place I had not heard of before making travel plans to the area. Service was sort of absent besides up at the bar. Only one person working both visits and they lose a star here for the many, many dirty glasses that remained on the bar while we were there. It just looked very unprofessional when you walk up to a bar and there are 30 dirty glasses on the bar and only half a dozen people in the place. Bartenders seemed to be sitting around between getting people drinks versus cleaning up the bar area. Not a deal breaker in the least, but just not something I'm used to seeing at a brewery. They had some limited items to eat, but we didn't take advantage, so can't comment on the grub. Recommend you checking them out when nearby. read more

They have a hidden beer menu that many don't know about. The secret is to ask for the the "pink pussy" the flavor is like no other. It's not on the menu because it is a family environment. If the music's too loud, you're too old. And I'm so old. This place is super cool but the dang reggae music is played at volume 11. I'd give it 5 stars but I can't hear myself think in there. The owners are super cool and usually there. We went once and one of the owners was not there and they played classic rock at a normal level and got 5 stars that night. This is the closest brewery to Mount Snow and therefore it's packed with bros, kids, dogs, etc, almost every ski weekend. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. We bring our baby and she loves the people watching. They have tons of games, couches, and a limited food menu. There are two large clean bathrooms but usually a line as the place is packed. The beer is nothing special but it is not bad. It can take a while to get a drink at the bar but be aggressive and polite and you can get in to order. They also have wine, cider, and hard alcohol which is good for mixed parties. The food is average brewery food but reasonably priced. We will keep coming back and love it! read more

So, my sister & I were curious to see how this former store furniture turned into a brewery was. (Let's face it, we just used that as an excuse to try out some new brews at a new brewery!) A newly founded brewery with a great atmosphere! Every beer I've had from here has been great. The service is very fast and the owner is often behind the bar with his head brewer at the end of the bar sharing his latest great concoction. Oversized Jenga, connect four, pool, darts, ring toss and shuffle board are scattered all over the place and DJ's on the weekends. The food menu is quickly growing and the pricing is great.
