Turkey pesto melt.

Great sandwiches and baked goods! The grilled cheese is a must, and the turkey pesto melt is very strong! There is also a good selection of Vermont goods including local cheeses.

Great spot for breakfast, lunch, baked goods, and supplies. Cute little seating area to take your food. We had the rueben sandwich which had a generous anount of corned beef, kraut, and sauce on delicious bread. Counter service was efficient and sandwich was brought to our table. Baked goods looked great. After sandwich counter cloaes they have pizzas. Great selection of Grafton cheese for sale. Must go if you are in Grafton.

This market and deli is just too cute for words! I mean, let's be honest, the food pickin' is slim up here in Grafton, but MKT is still incredible by any size town means. The deli offers delicious, fresh options for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The salad I scarfed down was perfectly made of tasty ingredients. The next day I returned for a hot breakfast sandwich. It, too, was perfectly made. I'm not sure how they get the English muffin to be so puffy and chewy, but it was one of the best breakfast sandos I've ever consumed! My friends and I also appreciated the pantry items and treats for sale. These items made great souvenirs to accompany our Vermont visit!

My husband and I were spending our first weekend in Vermont for his 45th birthday and originally wanted to stay in Grafton, but ended up in Chester. There was a wedding in town, and everything in Grafton was already booked. Since I'd read amazing reviews about how lovely Grafton was, we decided to drive the short distance to Grafton, to look around and grab a bite to eat. I'm so glad that we had! The MKT: Grafton was on our list of places to visit after reading reviews. Let me just say that the photos and reviews do not give this place the justice it deserves. If you are a fan of yesteryear, this is your place. I literally had felt like I'd been sent back to my childhood, to a quaint little country store that had stood the test of time. It was absolutely charming. First off, the building is adorable. There is a country screen door on the front porch, which is aligned with wooden benches. The upkeep on the building was impeccable. We walked inside and looked around at the availability; mainly wines, bottled sodas, salted snacks and sandwiches. They don't have a large menu, as this isn't a full service restaurant. There are some pre-made sandwiches or you can choose to customize a sandwich off the limited menu. My husband and I decided to split a sub sandwich, called "The Sub", which was $10.99. The sub was: Ham, salami, capicola, provolone, hots, black olives, tomatoes, shaved lettuce, vinegar, salt and pepper. They split it up for us and we each got a little chips on the side and a pickle spear. It was more than enough for the both of us! They do not skimp on the meats or veggies! Our sandwiches were thick, hearty and delicious! It goes without saying that they only use fresh, local ingredients and it shows in the taste; it was a real value for the price. I would go to say this was the best sub sandwich I'd ever had! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful September day; the weather was perfect and the leaves were just starting to change over. We chose a table outside, under the trees. Service was exceptional! Staff were so sooo friendly. I didn't want to leave. I could have sat there for hours just enjoying the quietness, the simplicity and beauty. If I ever visit this area again, I would definitely stay in Grafton and visit the MKT: Grafton again! And I have already recommended it to my friends and family...it's a true treasure!

A great variety of sandwiches and prepared foods. Definitely worth a stop for lunch if you're in Grafton or one of the neighboring towns.

We stopped by for a quick lunch while driving to Canada. The town is super cute an charming but everything was closed. We ended up at MKT and got a delicious lunch. We had the beef and barley soup and a beef sandwich. We also had coffee and tea. The staff was very friendly but the food was slow to come out. We ended up browsing the local goods in the market while we waited. We found things from homemade gloves to powdered goat milk. We are our food with an appetite - my soup was hearty and warm. Definitely a good lunch spot. It seems that lots of regulars were stopping by so it must be good. I would recommend it for a quick and affordable lunch.

We had a day of exploring Vt and had hoped for a place with Grafton cheese. Disappointed that the cheese place didn't have a shop. We found the MKT and had an amazing sandwich and a dessert to die for. Thank you

The sweetest souls work here and the animal feeding area/petting zoo is incredible! When you arrive at Taylor Farms, you step into the cute little country store stationed at the beginning of the farm. The store is stocked with farm products like yummy cheeses and icecreams but also food and home products from local businesses like soaps, etc. My daughter picked out a scoop of her favorite VT icecream, maple walnut and wandered the store. I stumbled upon the "feed our animals" station near the store exit. You can buy the farm animals food and feed them yourself! The store associate welcomed us to go see the animals even if we didn't buy any food for them. You could tell she really loved them. We bought a variety pack for the animals which consisted of carrots, an apple, a bag of homemade cheeseits, and chicken feed (corn meal?). My daughter had a ball feeding the donkey, cows, chickens and cat! We had a ball watching her experience new things and support a local farm! We hope to come back someday soon!

My tongue can still remember the distinct nutty and buttery taste of this luscious cheese. Trying to order this great cheese again (seriously one of the best cheeses I have ever eaten in my life and I have tried a variety of different cheeses), I find an error page on the ordering page for timberdoodle. I then attempt to see if I can order directly from Woodcock Farm, but their website is unfortunately down. An AI search result reveals that Woodcock Farm has not shut down but the owners are looking for someone to take over the business. Fingers crossed that the Fischers find someone to take over their operation. It would be a terrible shame for the world to lose such an amazing cheese (among the other amazing cheeses they produce too). Sometimes only poetry can get to the essence of our feelings . . . Little hard to find but great cheese and friendly people making the cheese they themselves love to eat.

We came here because they were the closest spot that sells Cabot cheese since we couldn't get up to the actual Cabot factory. All the reviews talking about the miles of cheese samples were not to be found. They sold some cheeses in the back but it wasn't a very big selection. I also found them to be no different than the Cabot cheese sold in my local grocery store back home in CT. Is that just what Cabot does? Is there nothing special about Cabot when you get it in VT? Cabot signs all over making it know they're an official retailer of Cabot cheese but then no different than a grocery store selection. They have miles of maple syrup to select from but you pretty much just have to blindly choose one since you can't taste any samples. Was really excited about this place but a letdown for sure. May not be any fault of theirs, but I would skip this shop for one that allows samples unless you know what you're buying.

Indeed, this is a big gallery (with a restaurant inside it) so its great for browsing, particularly if you're waiting for your meals. Food is fresh and very good. Had a miso soup while others had a potato/celery soup too. And a mushroom pasta dish to start was also tasty. For main dishes, the salmon was well done with an ample portion. On the negative: The service was haphazard on a busy Saturday night. Go on a weeknight when it is less crowded. They didn't fill out water glasses and seemed to disappear for stretches of time. Also, the "frites" on the steak au frites dish were cold and a plain pasta was a little al dente. Also, the place lacks air conditioning which is 95% fine in Vermont, except on that really warm day. Which was the day we were there. (I should note that our dinner companions had been there on the prior Thursday and said the experience then was spectacular, so the kitchen could've been a bit off on a dish or two).
