The deli is where the hot/cooked foods are at with some other specialty foods. The food was overall ok, nothing noteworthy. The main attraction is their Mac and cheese that had been circulating my IG feed. Don't think it's life changing but the shops have curated selections of local goods that are reasonable priced to get some last minute treats. Both were worth the hype in my opinion. The mac and cheese was super creamy and paired well with the tender pulled pork. The baked goods were nothing to write home about. Maybe we just chose the wrong items? We tried: Oatmeal cookie - good, but not amazing. Chocolate chunk/ peanut butter cookie - stale as heck and basically inedible. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. This was a nice little reprieve from the car ride.

Marsh Brothers put this sandwich into a whole other conversation of good. This was a great suggestion. I selected the House Roast Beef sandwich ($13) - with lettuce, tomato, Vermont cheddar, and garlic aioli, served on a kaiser roll. The roast beef was rare, juicy and the other ingredients helped to make it a hardy and delicious sandwich. My wife had the Veggie Lover's Delight ($12) - with roasted red and yellow peppers, red onion, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber, served on sourdough bread with a goat cheese and pesto spread. Their refrigerator cases had the makings for a simple picnic to an extravagant spread -- and everything in between. It's called the Village Butcher because it also is a butcher shop in addition to selling sandwiches. There is no inside seating, but there is plenty of outdoor tables. This is the kind of place you wouldn't discover on your own, but it makes for a great lunch spot.

When I asked the staff they said it was $2 for air and then asked someone else who said it was $2.50. After filling up at the pump, it was actually $3 for the machine, which isn't a huge deal, but when I started putting air in I realized that the gauge was so rusted you couldn't read it. It also stopped when I was on the third tire. When I did get in and check the pressure, it hadn't changed at all. So we paid $6 for nothing. It was pretty annoying and I just can't recommend this place. Keep driving.
