    Banana cookie matcha

Under new ownership: Not bad for matcha, I got the banana cookie matcha and tbh you can't really taste the banana. It looks good and the matcha is good, I think it's better than most places. Service is like any other, they don't have wifi, as far as I'm aware so I'm using my own hot spot to study. *edit they do have wifi u j have to ask, figured this out after the owner personally found and came up to me I think after you mix it the banana taste is more evident, in my own personal opinion It's always pretty busy too, bustling, so sometimes it's distracting but it's nice for social studies. I don't know if I'd study here again though, maybe just for a drink on the go or if I'm with friends. Make sure ur devices r charged there's a plug but only one, from what me and my friend saw.

Saw this new matcha spot on the ave and decided to stop by... and glad I did! It's a large space with many tables, perfect for sitting down with a group of friends and chatting. It's also connected to a claw machine arcade so you can play while waiting for your drink. I got a matcha latte which was really good! They have alternative milks (oat or macadamia) and use Yame matcha. You can tell that it's good quality, and the matcha/milk ratio is great (not too milky like a lot of other spots). Since they just got new ownership (apparently this week), it takes a bit of time for drinks to come out. It's also a little warm inside. BUT they had great drinks and really kind baristas (even gave us dinner recs), so I'd definitely come again!!

What a great place to get different types of matches and drinks around University of Washington. Very friendly service and clean spot to dine in. The matcha had a more bitter and umami taste than I expected. However, I did ask for 50% sweetness. I think if I were to go back, I would try something else than the banana cookie matcha that I ordered. Overall good spot and I would come back.

    salted cheese foam matcha latte

I got the salted cheese foam matcha latte. It was really good and the cold foam was amazing. But there was way too much ice and it was overpriced for the amount of drink.

This is my go-to place for matcha on the Ave! The new ownership is really friendly and all the staff are super sweet. I like how they check up on you and ask how the taste is. I love the overall ambiance and vibe of the cafe. I always get a Banana Cookie Matcha with oat milk for $8.50. It is soooooo good. (They also don't charge for alternative milk which I also really appreciate.) They recently added a food menu and I like the rice bowl with lemongrass pork. The sauces are delicious! I would totally recommend :). However, if you're studying here there is only one charging spot so I would charge your devices.

Cute place to study with a chill atmosphere. The new management has been adding new drinks and foods to the menu which is awesome! The staff is friendly and helpful with their selections. Khoa(one of the managers) is quick with making drinks and making sure we like what we order. I recently tried their new strawberry shortcake matcha which was delicious. I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out :)

I had heard Snooze Café reopened recently so I went to check it out. I've already visited a few times and it's been amazing each time! The vibe is super calm and perfect for studying or relaxing, with plenty of people quietly working or people quietly hanging out. The staff are always friendly and welcoming too. As someone who's not a matcha connoisseur, I was genuinely impressed by how good their drinks are. You can really taste the matcha in every sip, and I can tell they've revamped their recipes to bring out the flavor more. I've already tried a few different options, and every one has been good! Will definitely be regular there

But honestly? The energy worked. The staff was moving with that calm, unbothered flow only seasoned baristas have. Friendly, attentive, and somehow keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed. Respect. Light was flooding every corner; that soft Seattle glow that makes you want to pull out your journal and pretend you live inside a cozy indie film. Ventilation was perfect. Temperature was perfect. Seating options? Abundant. And not the awkward wobbly kind either. This spot is built for lingering. I grabbed a latte, sat down, and immediately fell into an art journaling trance. There's something about being surrounded by curated shelves of books and cute little treasures that just unlocks your brain. It's the kind of place where you look up after ten minutes and somehow an hour passed. This was my first visit, but it's already on my list of "places I'll actually come back to and get work done." A rare category, honestly. If you're looking for a café that feels like a creative reset button; this is a great one.

I looked up their yelp page as well as their Instagram and knew I had to come just to get one of their lattes with their amazing foam art! They have a variety of waffles and sandwiches on the menu that seemed appetizing however because I got here after 3:30 the kitchen was closed but they have a variety of pre-made burritos and sandwiches that you could still buy. I love that they have a huge variety of non-dairy milks including soy which is my favorite. I wanted to get the turmeric latte however I mentioned that I couldn't wait to see the foam art and the Baristas told me that due to the light color of the latte, it would be difficult to see the foam art so I instead ordered the red velvet latte with soy and it was as delicious as it was cute! I also got the egg and sausage cheese burrito and it was chock full of eggs and sausage... very filling. The decor and seating options are plentiful upstairs and downstairs. They also have free pineapple infused water for guests to drink which I appreciate. Seems like a popular spot for UW students to do work as there are lots of outlets for their laptops.

I was surprised that the cake was so cheap around $4 but after the first bite, it tasted like it was from a Safeway bakery, which made me feel a bit scammed. The latte was a very light roast, so the coffee flavor was barely noticeable and it felt more like drinking hot milk. On the positive side, the servers were sweet and friendly. It took about 5-7 minutes to get our drinks, and the place was packed around 1:30 pm on a Saturday.
