As a Filipino American , it is nice to have a local shop that sells some good Filipino desserts. Hot San Diego days call for some halo-halo. I had to order two because it was quite a hot night and i needed to cool down fast while satiating my sweet tooth. The rough translation of halo-halo is " mix-mix." Toby assisted with my order today and assisted me with the selections of ice cream that comes with the Halo halo. Thank you Toby for the master customer service Jaiden artfully prepared the two ethereal cups as seen in the picture. I take my spoon and take a heaping spoonful of the ube ice cream to fire up my taste buds . As i start to become primal and start digging for treasures , one can find in the original halo halo the following; sweet banana , sweet potato , jello , purple yam, toasted rice ( nice crunch to add texture.)

I tried the Ube Taro Blend and it was seriously delicious. It was creamy, perfectly blended, and had such a good flavor. I'll definitely be getting it again. I also have to mention Autumn because she was so friendly and welcoming. She provided such great customer service and genuinely made me feel welcomed. Customer service can be hard to find these days, so it really stood out to me when someone is that friendly and pleasant. Great drink and an even better experience. I'll definitely be back!!!

After our purchase from Kababayan Bakery, we walked through this place on our way out and decided to stop by. It's a really small place with only a few tables. We ordered various boba drinks and a halo-halo. The young man at the register was really helpful & nice and didn't seem frazzled at all given the long line on Father's Day. The Purple Drank and Ube Wan Blendobi was a hit but Halo-halo fell short, even after manually mixing all the ingredients together, it tasted a bit bland. Hope to try the other menu items when we're back in the area.

Toby and Saiden truly made this experience top notch! I already loved coming here, but their customer service and energy made it even better. And PLEASE run for the cookies especially the birthday cake ones because I am officially obsessed. They are so good. The drinks are also amazing. I've tried a variety of them and every single one has been delicious and packed with flavor. Definitely one of my favorite spots when I want a sweet treat and good vibes. Highly recommend!

Coming from LA, my brother in law told me his coworkers recommended this place to him. Finally got to try it when visiting this past weekend. I didn't get the name of the employee but receipt says Cyrene so will go by that. She was attentive, super nice and friendly. I said it was my first time there and finally got to try it. They had a first timer discount plus a free topping! Even better!! I was craving a halo-halo and haven't had one in a awhile and with weather getting warmer, it was calling my name. So i got their original which was refreshing. However, next time...i would do the other option where you can choose your own toppings (up to 6) in your halo-halo. Everyone has a different preference. Their original has (sweet banana, ube purple yam, jelly, rice krispy pcs, and another puree of something in it) i added egg pudding as my free topping. I prefer texture and crunch. So jackfruit, tapioca and toddy palm would be my taste of choice. I also got an island breeze drink which is pandan with ube cream and it was delicious and refreshing too!! Was not too sweet and you can really taste the flavors in it. This place is also connected to a quick Philippino fast food and bakery. Super convenient to get extra goodies home!! Was sad they ran out of turon though. Parking is small but descent. The store was also small but also descent and clean. Can't wait to be back to try other things and my preferred toppings next time!

Came here craving boba and ice cream, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience. My friend and I weren't greeted when we walked in and waited 10-20 minutes while the workers finished their conversation. When they finally helped us, the attitude came across as rude and annoying as if we interrupted their conversation. We paid around $20 for 3 items and waited another 10 minutes, with no one telling us where to pick up our order. The drinks weren't worth the price either. I have been going to Snoice for a few years now, and for the first time ever, today when I went in here, i was informed that the shaved ice machine was down. Noooooo! I was about to leave when the clerk Toby suggested ice cream. They had a bunch of great flavors including Mango. Hmmmm, okay, can I have that with the mango topping? Of course! And she even suggested the sweetened condensed milk that i normally would have on my shaved ice, so really, the dessert is very similar to what I would have ordered if the machine had been working. Sooo delicious, and so much more than just a dish of mango ice cream! Emilio assembled a VERY generous work of art really! I am extremely pleased! I really wish I could include a photo, but I ate it immediately! And that was awesome enough, but when I went to pay, I put in my phone number as always and Toby found that I had a $5.00 reward coming, so my yummy frozen treat was basically free! My 1 star review is not based on the limited parking, nor the fact that it's not in the best area. Definitely has nothing to do with the fact that the AC is either never on or doesn't work so when you're waiting for your Boba you feel like you're in a sauna. My 1 star review is on the fact that I waited damn near ten minutes before being acknowledged. Mind you there were 3 workers behind the counter, kept looking at me but would not acknowledge me until I rang the bell. If you want to be ignored and wait over 10 mins to put in an order and another 10 to get it, then this is the place for you. The only reason I stayed was because of my son, if I was alone I would've left. Definitely not returning. read more

I've never been to Spring Valley before and if you like modified cars, you'll like this area!! So many cool cars passed by, it was very entertaining looking. We get to Snoice and the lot is pretty small. They have interior seating and a few stools for outdoor seating. They don't accept cash by the way! I do like that they have photos of the menu items and seasonal specials. The prices are a bit on the expensive side (compared to other places) in my opinion and a few of the items would say "best with" __. But then you'd have to pay a little bit extra to add it to the item. I was with my friend so we tried 3 of their Spring Specials. Mango Coconut Blend: this is a mango yogurt smoothie with coconut cream on top. I would recommend this, it was highly enjoyable! - Lolo's Mango Float Snow: it said they recommend it with fresh mango which I felt like that was kind of odd that they would recommend it and it wouldn't come already on the dessert? Don't get me wrong, the snow was really delicious and light. Melt in your mouth. The combination of the graham crackers and the float cream with the mangoes were very reminiscent of summertime! This was my fav one. - Cloud 9 Mango: Mango Smoothie with Mochi puff swirled around the cup. It said it was best with boba and so I ordered that too. Although when it came out the Mochi puff was all at the bottom & very hot. It actually melted the base of the cup so just be aware!! I would have to say, I didn't enjoy this Mochi as the texture wasn't as smooth (a bit lumpy). I prefer 3cat mochi more. I'd come back to try their other menu items, rather than the spring time specials. As they were good, but the mango didn't seem very ripe. So I would prefer other drinks. Meet the Business Owner: Jayrell R.

Jayrell and Dianne founded Snoice to create a fun and friendly environment for their son, Nathan, to grow up in and to evangelize new concepts in desserts. He believes sharing cold desserts is the perfect way to relax and bond with family and friends in sunny San Diego. Jayrell and Dianne are passionate about family and community. They also co-founded the non-profit "Made in Paradise Hills" which hosts the annual Paradise Hills Night Market.

My choice was a 24 oz Rose Peach Green Tea with regular sweetness, 50% ice, and honey boba pearls added. The blend was very fragrant from the rose component. I seldom see this option with fruit teas at other places. The boba pearls could have been cooked longer to soften them. The processing time to make my drink wasn't very long. There was at least one other boba tea shop within this sprawling mall so there is competition under the same roof. My initial experience with Tea Monks was worth a four star rating.

I notice it's usually between $5-$10 obviously dependent on weight but the minimum is 4.50 so if you are below that, they'll just charge 4.50. I'd recommend this place if you want a lighter sweet treat! Other places can be heavy but because this is shaved, it's easier on the tummy. they do also have waffle creations that seem good for couples to share~ (my favorite is the strawberry shorty, it has cheesecake bites and fresh strawberries, the waffle, and vanilla softserve). they have taiyaki too but it's not like somi somi where there's icecream inside, it's just filled or plain (the nutella one is really good). also their thai tea drink is really good

This place is on a small corner heading up to Paradise Valley Road. My expectations were deemed as I expected the place to be bigger after hearing about their recent renovations. The store was very compact filled with squished people trying to find tables to occupy, kids looking for games to play, and also a huddle of people at the register trying to order from the menu. It took a while for me to order. It seemed as if the girl working at the cashier didn't really know how to operate their system as she kept calling over her coworker asking him how to do this or that. She didn't give me a receipt nor asked a name for my order just like she did for the customers before me. It took a while for me to place my halo halo, but I got the original halo halo with a scoop of ube icecream. It was worth the wait though. Their halo halo is unlike the traditional halo halo you see at Goldilocks. It doesn't have all that unnecessary red beans and excess ice, just the good stuff such as leche flan, saba (banana), and sweetened jellies. Such amazing drinks! I got the matcha milk tea with boba and pudding and it was delicious! I recommend adding the cheese foam if you enjoy it on top of your drinks! Overpriced for the premium milk tea & I couldn't see prices anywhere. My boba was the mango matcha milk tea and it doesn't even come with anything extra. When I walked in, the place immediately felt inviting. It was clean, bright, and had a relaxing atmosphere that made you want to stay for a bit. One thing I noticed right away was their tablet ordering system. It made it really easy to browse the menu and place my drink order without feeling rushed. Super convenient and user friendly, especially if you like to take your time deciding on flavors. There was only one employee working when I arrived, a young girl who was handling everything by herself. Even with a couple of orders ahead of me, she moved quickly and stayed focused. You could tell she was doing her best to keep up with the small rush and get everyone's drinks out as fast as possible. Her effort and attitude really stood out. I ordered the strawberry lemonade with crystal boba and it was honestly incredible. Refreshing, flavorful, and one of those drinks you finish quicker than you expect because it tastes that good. The mix of sweet strawberry and the bounce from the crystal boba was perfect. Overall, this spot is absolutely worth checking out. It may be a little hidden, but it is definitely worth finding. Between the convenient tablet ordering, the friendly service, and the delicious drinks, I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area. I would gladly come back the next time I am nearby.

I think the coffee itself overpowered the Ube flavor unfortunately. It is a cute shop with a couple of small tables and a large two-level bench (kind of like stadium seating).
