We purchase the yelp deal and stopped by snoice to get 7 orders of halo halo. They were unable to honor the yelp for unknown reasoning?!? and sadly the staff did not know how to work around the deal which took 15 min... On top of that they were out of the MAIN FLAVORS of ice cream for the halo halo which was unfortunate so we ended up getting vanilla on all the orders. On top of that.. each scoop of ice cream was $2. We had such a poor experience here and I dont think We'll be coming back or recommending this place. read more

I am an ube STAN! One day I was craving something with ube + I'd always heard good things about Snoice, so I decided to try them out. The first time I went I got the Ube-Taro blend + I LOVED IT! Omg it was so good. Flavorful + sweet, just like I like it! I also really love Oreo so the second time I went I got the ube-Oreo blend + I really wanted to love it, but it was just okay. It needed more flavor/sweetness. The customer service was good. Nothing spectacular but it wasn't bad either. And k will say the prices are a bit steep for a drink, but I'd definitely return the next time I have a craving for something sweet. read more

Aiko made my drink, and she was genuinely kind, patient, and clearly knew what she was doing. The boba was perfectly chewy, the tea had great flavor without being overly sweet, and the whole experience felt thoughtful instead of rushed. I came here on a Thursday afternoon and it was quite empty. Just one other customer was there so I was able to receive my drink in a timely manner! Staff was friendly and the inside of the shop was pretty clean with a few tables to sit at. The names of the drinks were very clever and fun! I ordered one of the specialty drinks, Ube Wan Blendobi. This drink was a mix of Ube and Oreo. I also added boba as a topping (free when checking in with yelp!) I initially wanted to add Mini Boba, but I was told it's only offered on the weekend! The Ube Wan Blendobi drink was refreshing, but I just wish there was more Ube flavor. The drink itself had nice texture but was a bit watered down. The boba wasn't as soft and stuck together in clumps. If I come back here, I'll probably try one of their milk teas instead. read more

On our way home, we decided to look for dessert and came upon this place that was close by to our route home. Snoice is in a little plaza adjacent to a Filipino point point joint. There is a decent amount of parking within the plaza. I opted for the halo halo and my fiancé got the honeydew blended with boba. If I'm being honest, the biggest downfall was that the ice was not blended enough. I understand that ordering halo halo requires shaved ice, but it almost felt like it was more the consistency of crushed ice vs shaved ice... and that was the consensus for both of us. My fiancé was really disappointed with the boba and the slushy - the boba didn't have any flavor and chewing the ice was pretty annoying. The halo halo was decent, but the ice really killed it. I highly recommend getting the scoop of ice cream because otherwise, it was really milked down, for lack of a description. The mix-ins were very little and if I hadn't waited for the ice cream to blend into the milky ice (and honestly let some of those bigger chunks of ice to melt), the halo halo would have deserved even less of a ranking. IG worthy, but looks are quite deceiving. I was really hopeful this place was going to be good. read more

So it was my first time trying this place and I have mixed feelings about it. I would give the customer service 5 stars in itself. The young man working was very friendly and professional. He answered all my questions about the menu and was so helpful. The boba drinnks are not very good compared to the many boba places I've tried. The drinks were overly sweet, but like an artificial sweet. Didn't seem like they used any fresh or natural ingredients. And that's also me asking for "less sweet". Still came out way too sweet. The boba balls themselves were way too chewy and a lot of them were stuck together so you couldn't even suck them up through the straw. Maybe they were old. So that's why I give it 3 stars. The inside of the place is super cute with spots to sit which is wonderful and I loved that about this place. Another thing I absolutely love about this location is that it's connected to a little food market next door where you can get delicious food like lumpia, pancit, and yummy cheese muffins. So that's a big plus! So basically this place has great potential to be epic, but the quality of the boba drinks have to go up for that to happen. read more

I wasn't a fan of halo halo when I was in elementary school, but I'm glad I gave it a try again recently. I actually like it now! I'm not sure if it's because I got to customize it to my liking though. This dessert is served with shaved ice, drenched in sweet evaporated milk, and topped with leche flan, pinipig, and ice cream. For mine, I also chose toasted rice, coconut jelly, boba, and palm jelly. You get to choose up to 6 toppings, so it can be overwhelming to make your final decision LOL. One of my other friends went with the traditional halo halo, since it was her first time having it. Besides this dessert, Snoice also offers shaved snow, milk teas, fruit teas, blends, and scoops of ice cream. I've seen this shop at various events in the past and always enjoyed their offerings. I've been here a couple of times now, and I must say this place has the best halo halos in San Diego. I mean every ingredient is fresh and the halo halos, shaved ice, and drinks are made to order. Nothing is pre made, or sitting in a refrigerator getting soggy and gross. They have a variety of ice cream flavors, lots of ingredients to customize your halo halo or shaved ice, they have fresh fruit, and everything tasted amazing. The prices were within reason and I didn't mind the cost for good quality and quantity. The workers were friendly and the place looked clean. They had some merchandise to purchase (hat & shirts), some cookies, sodas and drinks, and a few grocery food items as well. Pre covid, there was inside seating and a standing bar outside. They now have the inside seating area closed off. Mask are required and worn by staff. The times I've been here I've always ordered a halo halo. I've ordered it traditional and I've had it customized with different ingredients. I have enjoyed them both, but prefer making it my way. It is very filling and sweet, but sooo delicious. Everything about it has great flavor and tastes fresh. The shaved ice was fluffy and very good. The passion fruit drink with boba was good and I've never ordered something here I didn't like. This is a great spot and their halo halo is a must try. The parking situation I must say is terrible. This place is located in a small shopping area next to a few stores. Parking is free, however very limited. Due to it being on a main road, there isn't street parking. If you're lucky and get a spot, it's an even better day. read more

Yummy, halo halo is great! We came for the Elite Perk today. The deal is a small Original Halo Halo and it is DELICIOUS! My daughter got a large Cookies and Cream with Ube one and she loved it too! We will come again. They share a storefront with Kababayan Bakery and that's my new go to spot for Filipino Pastries, Dessert, and Lumpia. So now I can have both in one visit. They are requiring masks and they take your order through a safety glass because of COVID. This was great. I liked how they had a little decorated spots all over the place with their logo and cute little nice touches. I was really looking forward to my visit to Snoice and it did not disappoint!! I'd seen images of treats galore with colorful tasty toppings on creamy, towering treats in every hue of the rainbow. Snoice, in Spring Valley, is 'noice, to say the least! I was a bit overwhelmed by the choices which range from boba, shaved ice, and other desserts. I asked what the most popular Halo Halo, or shaved ice, was, a Yelp Elite "Perk" and the original, a mix of ALL the iced flavors was it! This mix contained avocado, mango, strawberry and banana!! I topped it all off with "Ube", a purple plant root icecream, and it was the perfect sweet touch! My drink was creamy and satisfying, such a delicious treat!!!
