It was good, but not the best I have had. The fries seem like they are frozen than fried, the burgers were good, but I am GF so I just took the bun off and it was dry and not much flavor. I guess I am super picky when it comes to burgers, if I can make a better burger then it doesn't really lend me the flexibility to give them a fantastic rating. 5 is most amazing I will come back over and over, and recommend tobothers, 4 is I would come back and I might have a favorite dish, but three is I liked it for that meal but I would not go our of my way to have it again and I wouldn't recommend it. This is a cute little college neighborhood burger joint that's easy to miss yet​ offers up some good burgers. They have a great selection on their top wall above the counter. They're also cheap, something you usually don't get with good burgers. I had their Bologna Burger which purportedly​ had a patty and plenty of toppings, but... the actual order was their Bologna Sandwich, which was different. I had to ask for a patty in order to make it a burger, and the cook gave me one off the grill. I advise those who order from the top wall selection to check their orders after receiving them to make sure they are correct. Great food but prone to messing up orders. Mistakes happen, but don't let them get repeated. I'm now a fan, and I'll be back for more burgers. read more

Snarf burger is a bit of a dive but the food is fantastic. The place is pretty small and the bulk of the eating space is outside at umbrella covered picnic tables. Don't let that deter you! There are a few other items on the menu, but the reason you come here is for the burger. The local beef is very flavorful, smashed and seared on a flat top grill, and comes with a load of toppings. I added mushrooms for an extra $.50 and they were totally worth it. The special spicy peppers are a great add on too and paired well with the shrooms. The bun was a fresh style and was a great bread to meat ratio. Note, burgers come with hot sauce on them. I think this is a delicious plus, but some do not. The fries and onion rings are also scrumptious. You can get a mix of both, they call it frings. One order of frings is enough for one person. There is room for improvement. I had a double burger with cheese, fries, and a soda. My double was over cooked with hard meat patties, yet lukewarm when it was served to me. I was really excited to try Snarfburger! I had driven by there multiple times and love a great burger. The idea that it is a "food stand burger" enticed me. These are often the best (I Iove a good dive!). I arrived and the guys working were fantastic. So check for good service. Snarf is a freestanding shack near campus in Boulder. It offers basic burgers and fries, hot dogs, onion rings and a few specialty items. The unique item here is the bologna. Either a fried slice topped on a burger or a fried bologna and grilled cheese. The staff was not super friendly but they were efficient. The tables and outside seating area are badly in need of a thorough wash down and their basement bathroom is usable but hilariously tiny. My burger was quite good but the bologna slice was unmemorable. It really added nothing. The patty, bun and pepper jack cheese were delicious and their house toppings were really good. I had a mix of fries and onion rings and they were unremarkable. A cool dive that is worth walking to but certainly not a gourmet burger destination. read more

Best burger in Boulder! Now granted, I don't eat burgers a whole lot, but this place was good! There is very limited parking, which is unfortunate, and really only outside seating, but it's a good place to go for a meal when it's nice out. I got The Hatch, which was a burger with hatch green chiles, hot peppers, hot sauce, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, and mayo, and then a small vanilla custard. It was cheap (around $8) and delicious. The staff was efficient and professional, and while we had to wait for our food for a bit as it was the lunch rush, they still got everything out in a timely manner. Highly recommend it! read more

One of the best if not the best burger place in Boulder. They have some really solid burgers here. It's a really small place that looks just like a shack, but the food here is great. They also make really good veggie burgers if you're into that too. I really love their option that you can get a combination of fries and onion rings, they call it "frings". The burgers were good, but that was one of the most disgusting restaurants we have ever been in. There were flies EVERYWHERE hovering around the dirty trash cans, drink station, and tables. There was even a full fly trap hanging from the ceiling that no one had bothered to change. The flies and general odor got so bad that we had to wait outside for our food.
