I called this morning and they came over quickly and fixed the clogged clean out sewer drain. Richard was very nice and gave me some tips on how to prevent it from happening again. Very professional and friendly guys. Would recommend this service to friends. They also charged me exactly what was quoted over the phone. Hard to believe because every time a person comes to my house to repair something it's over what was quoted to me on the phone. Glad to see there are some honest people left in this world. read more

Great people, did job quickly for a fair price. Worked with us on the appointment when circumstances changed and walked us through all the options to fix a poor DIY shower faucet install from the prior owner. read more

Had a leaking water heater valve. Mike gave me a tip over the phone to turn off the cold water intake to avoid wasting money heating the water that was flooding my side yard. Albeit two hours late for their appointment, the called during their scheduled time to tell me they were running behind and gave me a new time estimate. Showed up, fixed the problem in about 20 minutes and gave me a 20% discount for the wait. No more leaking and got an extra $20 for my time that I spent working from home anyway. They were courteous, fast, and did it right. I will be calling them next time I need a plumber. read more

Flippin Awesome! They know their stuff and are no nonsense guys! Thank you! read more

Snappy Rooter sent out Richard within a few hours of my call. They said he'd be there between 2:00-4:00 p.m. He called around 1:00 and asked if he could show up early. I said sure & he was there 20 minutes later. He unclogged our toilet and re-seated it with new bolts and a new seal for less than $150 and was in and out in about 30 minutes! Richard was very friendly and professional and didn't try to hard-sell me anything. He asked what we needed and delivered quickly and efficiently. Snappy Rooter is our plumber for the foreseeable future! I recommend them for great service and fantastic prices! My best experience with a plumber EVER! read more

I found this company through Yelp reviews. They gave me a one hour time frame for when they would arrive and they were prompt and friendly. They called prior to arriving. Had them install a new garbage disposal at my house ($95). Two people worked on it. Good hardworking men, that's all there is to it. Highly recommended! Thanks! read more

These guys are the best. I've used them multiple times and it has always been great. I refer people to them as much as I can so they don't get screwed over by someone else. Their price is usually very reasonable and above all you get honesty, not a bunch of lies and markups which are all too common from other companies. If you have to wait for them, it's worth it. read more

I am so glad I checked Yelp before I made a call. Snappy had the most reviews and all positive reviews. If I could give six stars, I would. Last night I flushed too much food through kitchen sink. It totally clogged up my main pipe. Mike came out today and fixed it. It took him three tries because it was way far down the pipe. His price was more than reasonable. Very friendly also. He even showed up on time. We were so impressed that we asked him to come back next week to replace our garbage disposer. I know who I need to call for any plumbing job. Thanks Mike!!! read more

Snappy Rooter is an awesome company and I would totally recommend them for anything plumbing related. We've used them several times now and they have always done a great job, been very professional and also very friendly and personable. They always show up on time and are very reasonable when it comes to setting up appointments that work with your schedule. Their rates are amazingly good and more than fair. They are knowledgeable and will go through all the options for you in order to let you make the best decision. Five stars for a great company! read more

I highly recommend these guys. I needed my kitchen sink unclogged. His quote was lower than the other companies I had called and he got me on their schedule right away. They were right on time (after calling first to let me know they were on their way) and fixed the problem super quickly. They were polite, competent, efficient and their price was reasonable. I would definitely use them again. read more

Absolutely perfect experience, you can't ask for more. They were able to come out within a few hours, VERY quickly diagnosed the problem (root in the line), cleaned it out for one of the most reasonable prices I had found, and quoted me a great rate to do a more effective fix in the future. They were SO nice and accommodating. Overall great experience. Definitely would recommend. read more

Used them for a few different plumbing jobs over the years. Good service . Reasonable prices .

Dear Snappy Rooter, Let me get to the point, you are my hero. Living in an older home that was built in the '50's, I knew that my home would have some problems here and there. My wonderful utility sink in the garage decided that it did not want to drain anymore water from my washing machine. At first, I thought it was not too bad; I decided to use that "gray water" to water the dry patches in my back yard. Then I noticed that when I ran the dishwasher, the left over water/ crap ended up in my utility sink!!! I saw you guys on yelp and when I saw another person had written about the same problem i was having and you managed to fix it at a great price, I called up at 930am. Richard came over at 2pm and saved my life (domestically speaking). He was super nice and explained things to me simply. Thank you! -Manda read more

Yes! they deserve 5 stars. I've used them twice this year. Before settling with them I called around for estimates...they were the cheapest, were ready for work the same day, and were honest! The other places that I called had no availability for same day service (even tho their website claimed to) and weren't that helpful over the phone. I was nervous with the price being so cheap compared to the other plumbers. They fixed my clogged drain. They even looked at my dishwasher that was not draining...they simply said it was a simple fix that I could do and they showed me! I would use these guys for all my plumbing needs not bcz they are cheap (although it helps!) but bcz they are honest and proficient! The price was always less than $90 for both visits. read more

Mike and his team have always helped me for my plumbing problems for over 20 years AAA+

I have used Snappy Rooter for at least 15 years, maybe more. Reliable, they do the job right and at a fair price. I recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber. Thank goodness for Mike and his gang. Hats off to Richard as well. read more

They came with an entire toilet valve apparatus, decided only a washer needed to be replaced, and charged us below their estimate. Toilet works great now. Can't ask for more from a plumber. Only niggling minus is that they said they would call prior to arriving and didn't do so. Otherwise, fast and trustworthy service! read more

Having clogged kitchen sink, I cleaned up the trap, Drano and snaked the pipe, did not work. This home was a rental, since I moved in 5 years ago, the sink backup numerous times but I was able to fix it in the past, not this time. From Yelp, I chose Snappy Rooter which has the least negative reviews. Mike and Ryland arrived on time as scheduled. The clogged was so stubborn that the two took extra effort to finally removed the greasy chunk deep in the pipe. They are experienced, effective, friendly and professionally, I'd recommend Snappy Rooter to whoever have the sort of problem in the future. read more

Had a slowly draining tub. Hand snake produced no results. Thought it was just clogged, so I called one of the Rooter companies who diagnosed a broken drain pipe and estimated a repair bill of $1,600. Ourch! Got on Yelp and read the good reviews about Snappy Rooter. Gave Mike a call and he looked under house (Rooter didn't) to confirm broken pipe. Estimated cost to fix - $350!. He came by on a Sunday and replaced tub strainer and drain pipe in two hours, taking the time to explain exactly what he was going to do. What a deal and cool guy! Caution: Mike didn't take credit card and my wife had checkbook. Luckily, I had $350 in cash. read more

Best plumbers in Sacramento! I've called these guys to my house twice for plumbing issues, once to change a faucet and last week they did a great job changing out a pedestal sink. When another plumber gave we an appointment window of four hours and then never showed I called Snappy Rooter and I couldn't be happier with their work. They are courteous and efficient and their prices are cheaper than any other plumber I called. I plan on calling them tomorrow to fix my kitchen sink. I highly recommend Snappy Rooter! read more

What a great job Mike and his crew did today. They replaced the old galvanized pipe to the house and put the lawn and plants back with care as if it was their own property. Very professional, helpful and reliable. Already talking to them about other plumbing jobs that are needed. We are very happy with their work! read more

They replied very quickly. They showed up on time. Determined the problem and quickly fixed. Their price was reasonable and also cleaned up afterwards. read more

Mike and his crew were nice, responsive and know their stuff! No one will beat their prices and their service is quick, professional, and quality. We had them replace our horizontal pipes under our house and a few risers in two places. Mike and his team noticed a few other areas that needed to be tended to that were outside the list of things to complete for us and he ended up doing them for free. What more can you ask for? We have already recommended Mike and his crew to two other friends! read more

So I read the Yelp reviews and chose this company based on all the excellent reviews. May I just say, after their quick response and great service, I am in complete agreement with all the people who posted! They came the next day after my call, worked quickly and efficiently and voila! Our bathroom sink is now usable! Please consider calling these fellows if you are in need of plumbing services! read more

Mike and crew have helped us several times over past 10 years with repairs and updates needed for our 1920s era house. Most recently, we had a tub faucet leak that Mike warned us could result in some of the original aqua blue tile being broken in order to repair. We appreciated the up front warning, as it gave us a chance to come up with a plan in event this happened. While we did find a source for this retro tile, it wasn't going to be cheap. We asked his crew to do their best to try and avoid breaking, and sure enough, they managed to repair without any breaking. Their care and professionalism is appreciated! read more

We have used Snappy Rooter for the past 3 years and they have always done a great job. The owner, Mike, is very responsive and on numerous times he has been able to have his guys come out on the same day. Their service is no nonsense, prompt and reliable. I would highly recommend them! read more

I had a leaky tub faucet and since it was the hot water my gas bill was going up. I called a few places and those who would give a quote said around $250 to fix it which is not in my budget. I went to Yelp and saw that these guys do good work and don't rip people off so I gave them a call. They said they would come between 2 and 4. They got here right after 2 and by 2:30 were done and it only cost $85! Needless to say I am very happy and will always use Snappy rooter! read more

I used Mike and Snappy Rooter to replace both my sewer and water line. He and his crew did excellent work and at under 1/2 the cost of the nearest bid. I have since used them for minor plumbing problems with the same results. As I type I am calling for an under the slab clean out as a preventative before a big Christmas party. read more

Can't really say enough good things about Snappy. Had a slow drain, called them this morning, crew showed up less than an hour later (exactly as scheduled), freed the rusty clean-out and snaked the drain in 15 minutes for a very reasonable price. If you need a plumber, this is the guy! 'Nuff said! read more

Mike was great. Had two water heaters that needed to be replaced. After Mike spent some time trying to identify the optimal solution it was determined that both would have to be replaced. He replaced both quickly and at the price he quoted. One of the water heaters was a tankless and he suggested that I purchase from Lowes because it would be cheaper. Most plumbers what have purchased and upcharged. Mike was fair, honest and reliable. I would highly recommend. read more

Mike did a great job fixing a leaky bathtub faucet. I have an old, strange house with old, strange plumbing, and he knew how to fix it. He arrived on time, charged the price he quoted and didn't do any last minute "jack ups", and was friendly and professional. Strongly recommended. read more

I figure since I found them on Yelp, I ought to put in my two cents. Five stars for coming when they said they would, charging what they said they would, and cleaning up after themselves. ETA: And for not trying to make me buy stuff I don't need! ---------- edited 4/21 There was a little bit of fishiness on a return visit. Separating two jobs into what should have been one. Still, I'd call them in an emergency. read more

First time Yelp mislead me. Snappy did show up on time with 2 technicians but couldn't find a leak from a second story bathtub. They mucked around for an hour, but two days later, my DH turned the tub on, walked down the stairs an found water escaping from a ceiling light fixture read more

Total plumbing domination! Like so many other folks in midtown, we have janky old pipes which seem to have been designed to intentionally break snakes and piss plumbers off. So when our tub started backing up, we knew things were about to start sucking. Time to bring in the plumber.... I'm ashamed to say I called Bonney Plumbing first, based on their relentless marketing, but was left on hold for several minutes. I have zero tolerance for poor customer service, so I turned to Yelp, where the people's champ was clear: Snappy Rooter. Richard didn't show up on time, he was EARLY (aww yeah). He came in smiling, full of plumber-moxie, and got right to work. The battle with our old pipes was on. It was a classic battle of man and snake vs. the rusty old beast. Our pipes actually broke his snake line at one point, but he cheerfully informed us he would just drive to South Sac(!) and replace the broken part and be right back. Ha! I love this guy. Whereas I would have cut my losses and never returned to our preposterous labyrinth of archaic piping, Richard was back in a flash, with more resolve than ever. Richard worked his a** off. He ended up under our house with a headlamp, no doubt battling rats and crackheads. He dismantled some pipes, fixed our clog, and snuck back into our bathroom and cleaned everything up-- completely above and beyond the call of duty. We had our checkbook out, ready to pay for all the trouble, time, and unexpected work. He handed us a bill for 65 bucks, and I wanted to hug him. I think I might have. I'll never call another plumber as long as I live in Sac. Snappy Rooter's plumbing hegemony pumps me up! Thank you! read more

They've done good work for me in the past, which is why I give them two stars, but made an appointment with them last week and they didn't even show up today after I took the day off work. Called them twice and no callback. So I've lost a day of personal time and still need a plumber to show up. I'll call another one of the many good options on yelp the next time I need some plumbing work done around the house. I need someone I can rely on. read more

The owner of the company, Mike, is a very customer service oriented business owner and really went the extra mile to ensure that we were satisfied with the work. We had a broken pipe under the kitchen and he came out himself to assess the repairs. They drilled down into the floor and found that the piping in our house was modified so they actually ended up having to do way more work to find the broken line. They found the line and repaired it quickly. Even though they had to do more work than expected, the bill still ended up being less than the original quote. On top of that, they had some extra concrete left over so they even mixed it up and poured us a little ramp on our driveway where there was a sink hole :) They really know how to please their customers, and I'd recommend them to anyone that needed plumbing work done. Their 4 1/2 star average of 40 reviews is well earned. read more

I would give this company zero stars if I could. They made an appointment with me for Friday between 2 and 4pm, and then didn't show at all. To date - a week later - they have not called me to apologize or reschedule. Guess they don't need my business. read more

I highly recommend Snappy Rooter. They called 15 min before arriving, were knowledgeable, courteous and the charges were as stated. All needed equipment was in the truck. Richard stated he'd been with the company for 15 yrs and it was clear he and Matt knew exactly what they were doing. Richard realized the router in the laundry might be messy and was prepared to minimize it. Barely any mess and was completely cleaned up when they left.( This was not my experience with another company). I will definitely use this company again if needed. read more

So glad I found Snappy Rooter through Yelpers who didn't like Bonney Plumbing! Snappy called to tell me they could arrive early (who does that?) and they showed up exactly when promised. They fixed my sink in about 15 minutes, showed me how to fix it if it happens again, and told me we could call them if we had any other plumbing issues and he could try to walk us through it over the phone to save us money! Again, who DOES that? Highly recommend these guys. read more

We called Snappy Rooter based on all it's excellent reviews, left a message and never got a call back. not 5 star service in my book!
