They did the thing with the thing for a fair price and the stuff resumed going where it's supposed to go. Who can complain? Worth noting they showed up on time both times I had them come out for a service job. Would definitely use them again. read more

This is the plumber we use. My stepmom referred me to them. They are efficient and helpful and very practical. They've unclogged toilets and mucked out sink drains, and they've also done some repairs to toilets and under sink pipes, and put in a few new faucets. It's the same 2 guys every time as opposed to a big company sending out different people every time Great plumbers. read more

So after calling 5 star rated Mario....etc. (who did a good job for me in the past) I was quoted about 7k to replace all the piping inside my home, and anther 3-4k to replace the pipe to the city main outside my house in the backyard. Seeking another bid I called Mike. He instantly recognized the fact that the city main line was not in my backyard, but out in the ally. Considering it ran under a building, replacing it is not an option. He also showed me that I can have the city connect to another main in the front of my house if it is ever necessary. He then showed me there was no need to replace half the pipes that Mario wanted to replace as they were not the galvanized piping I was looking to replace. He quickly isolated just the piping that needed to go. He charged me $2,500 and saved me a bundle. No more galvanized pipes that are 100 years old. He also replaced my main valve, and did excellent work. I know I will call when I eventually get a permit to move my main to the front of the house. Mike already planned ahead and has the pipe ready to go to run to my eventual new line. Use these guys, they are the best. Mike will mot send a kid. He comes himself and you get true expertise. read more

I have used Snappy Rooter a few times and have always found them to be honest, reliable, and courteous. This time they came out because my dishwasher leaked water onto my kitchen floor. They kept me informed the entire time, cleaned up after themselves, and seemed quite thorough. I will gladly use them again. read more

I have been using Snappy Rooter for about 10 years now and each and every time my experience has been FIVE STAR. They are extremely busy, because their service is excellent and their prices are fair. I have used them for small jobs like clearing a line and large jobs like complete house replumbing on a 90 year old home. They have never disappointed and always done whatever was needed in a clean, thorough and professional manner. Thanks Mike and Team!!!!! read more

Great work fast for a great price! They were really nice too. We had gas run to our kitchen. They even installed the stove for no extra charge! read more

Update: I have recently bought a rental house (as an investment) and had to have a bunch of plumbing work done before I could rent it out. Snappy Rooter (Mike) was amazing, as usual! They replaced my water heater, ran a line to the ice-maker in the new fridge, fixed the kitchen sink faucet, and re-plumbed the sewer line under the house. They did excellent, timely, and VERY reasonably-priced work. I have been using them for several years now and my opinion and rating of them has not changed at all! They are still excellent and I highly recommend them! read more

Mike of Snappy Rooter is an excellent plumber. He re-plumbed an entire house for me last year and did a great job. His cost was below the other two estimates I got. His work was professional and I've had no problems with that system he put in for me since then. Yesterday I had a hot water heater go out and I called him at 10 AM. He was on site at 2 PM to evaluate and figure out what was needed and he came back later that afternoon after his other job and worked till mid evening to install a new water heater. His work is good, he's on the job fast, his prices are fair, and he's 100% reliable. I could not recommend him more highly. read more

Highly recommended by a neighbor who has used Snappy for years. I called Mike for two jobs, a small drain blockage and a new water heater and disposal. Both were done very well. Definitely will use Snappy Rooter again. read more

I had weird smell coming out of my air vent and was afraid it might be a sewer leak. In the past, many service providers would take a look at my crawl space and said it's blocked and stops there. Richard came on time and dived right in. He inspected the space carefully and patiently explained the problem (air duct leak and moisture/mold). He was professional and personable. I believe he fixed my faucet a few years ago, too. Just very happy with snappy rooter. read more

Once again these guys came through with flying colors. We have a century old home in east sacramento with a main sewer line that needs attention every now and then, for $95 these guys these guys did their magic. Highly recommend read more

To put it simply, Snappy Rooter is great. Mike has done several plumbing jobs for me over the years, both small and large. Why do I keep calling him back? Easly answer... He is always friendly, has fair prices, treats my home with respect, and does good work. I really appreciate that he calls when he is on his way and shows up on time. He always clearly explains any options for the project and finds the best fix for the best price. What more could you ask for? The latest project was installing a Phyn, whole house water leak sensor. As the picture shows, he made a clean job of installing Phyn and a pressure regulator in a tight space. He even added a new hose bib on for no extra charge. read more

Snappy Rooter - Pressure regulator and Phyn installed with care in tight space. Nice Job Mike! - Plumbing Near Me

Snappy Rooter is the only plumber in my phone contacts. Timely service, no hard-sell/up-sell tactics, and their work *works.*

I've used Snappy Rooter to replace a garage disposal, laboriously dig a sewer clean-out, repair a water heater and install a toilet. With every job completed, I'm reminded of their wonderful customer service and extensive knowledge. When the dishwasher in our rental property went kaput, I immediately knew who to call. I could have paid a little less by going with an installer from Home Depot but like the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for". Thankfully, Mike provided honest feedback and discovered some additional plumbing issues that needed to be addressed sooner than later. I'm so glad I've found an honest and trustworthy professional. Calling a plumber usually means you're knee deep in you know what but you get no bull with Snappy Rooter. read more

I've got to be honest...I hesitated writing a review for these guys. Why? Because, I'm afraid if word gets out, they will either a) raise their prices or b) become more difficult to get a response from. As it stood, I had a colossal plumbing problem. Sure, it probably stemmed from trying to run the dishwasher, washing machine, and give the kids a bath simultaneously. However, I do think that one of my dinner guests may have issued the coup de grace after dinner by...um...how do I say this delicately? Processing their food into my waste removal stream (OK, yes, a big steamy dump with lots of TP). Sorry, that was unnecessary. So I called my regular guy. No response. Not good. I turn to Yelp, and find lots of 5-star reviews for these guys. They don't appear to be shill reviews. Too good to be true? Probably. Called them; promptly answered the phone. I gave him the situation; he said he could be there WITHIN THE HOUR!!! Holy smoke. They arrive on site and go to work. As many have said, it seems like the problem is never simple, and mine was not. They thought they'd have to break into the sewer line and clear it out, then repair it. But, after hours--and I do mean hours--of hard digging and searching, they found a cleanout buried in the yard. They snaked it and my problem was solved. So, to summarize: - Responsive - Punctual - Efficient - Tenacious and persistent on the problem - Fairly priced - And a 30 day guarantee? So, Snappy Rooter, please don't change. I have a new go-to guy for my pipes now. read more

I love you Yelp, and I love you Snappy Rooter. Yelp comes through again, first I found a great appliance guy, then a great electrician, and now an AWESOME plumber. I had a pretty easy job, my kitchen sink was plugged. I have learned the hard way that God made me smart, handsome, funny, good with directions, great with kids, and a lion in the sack, but he did NOT make me a plumber. After hours wandering Home Depot, I just end up destroying things. I give Snappy a call at noon, they are super busy and cant come till the next day. I am a smidge annoyed, but figure they are worth it given their yelp reviews. I have had so many bad experiences with plumbers...the last time I dealt with one, I had totally reconstructed my garbage disposal, sink, and all the lines underneath, I just couldnt get it all to work. Would take someone with skills about 20ish minutes to finish. Bonney wanted over a grand! I told them to leave my house or I was calling the cops. Luckily my neighbor saved me that time, but he has moved, so I needed help. Anyways, I had to work today, but my mom was home for the guy. He showed up within the two hour window, and of course within 3 minutes the job was done. The guy was funny, fast, and even nice chatting with my 6 year old twins. So often with skilled trades, you have two choices. Shiny vans, friendly staff, and a price tag that would make Bill Gates cry. Hello Bonney! Or you have Mr. Cheapo Plumber that just got out of prison, will hit on your 15 year old daughter, and dig through your wifes panty drawer for a "souvenir" of the visit. Well, now there is a third choice. Snappy Rooter is fast, friendly, reliable, and NOT out to screw you. A drive over the my house and you fix the issue super fast, best $75 I have spent in a long time. They also understand that small jobs = big jobs. So many trades men are so stupid, oh your job is tiny and not worth my time. Well then jackoff, I wont call you when I have a big job either! None of that with Snappy, they were glad for the work. It is only a matter of time until one of my daugthers puts a barbie or a bag of rocks down the drain, and destroys the entire house's worth of plumbing. Who do you think I will call? Snappy to the resuce! read more

My landlord has used Snappy Rooter for years and is a big fan of Mike and his company, but as renters who have dealt with them multiple times over the years, my husband and I are not. Twice the company has scheduled an appointment with us and then wanted to come out much earlier when we weren't available, and then didn't show up for the previously scheduled appointment. This most recent time, they said they would go do another job and then come by later, which was fine with us. So we waited, and waited, and waited. They never showed and never so much as even called us back. There's just nothing like being woken up early because a company wants to switch the appointment time and then ends up flaking altogether. The workers tend to stink like heavy cigarette smoke, but that's a minor complaint I can cover up with air freshener after they leave (because it does stink up my house!). What's not a minor complaint is smoking on my property, by the front door and open windows. My husband shouldn't have to explain that you're making his wife sick and need to do that off the property. You just shouldn't do it. Period. I've never been impressed with their work. Multiple times they said the clog was cleared when it wasn't and caused sewage to back up later the same day. It took them far too long to actually investigate and realize tree roots were the problem. When they did remove the tree roots, they dumped them in our bathroom trash, which stunk up our bathroom and took days to air out. I've had tree roots removed at a different residence and the plumber took them outside to the big can where they belong. I mean, they are covered in sewage; that's just nasty! I've had it with this company and have asked my landlord not to use them at my residence any longer. read more

Mike and his crew are awesome. We had a fairly unique job for him. He came in with the best quote and killed it! He was also able to offer advise on the best way to approach the job. I earnestly, recommend him and his team. read more

My 1958 Rosemont home's laundry was draining slowly and backing up. Stupidly, I first called Bonney. They sent a tech who didn't even try. Said that the 1.5-inch pipes were too small to be snaked, and that to fix the problem would require a $3000 retrofit. B.S. Called Snappy Rooter and he cleared the drain in 15 minutes and charged only $82. One star shy of perfect as they arrived more than an hour after the quoted window. Never again, Bonney; hello, Snappy! read more

These guys did a great job for us, on time, cleared our sewer line in a jiffy, very helpful and friendly. Few months later the clay sewer pipe clogged again, called Mike, he came that day to confirm it was broken by huge tree roots.Mike came back in 5 days, first opportunity on his calendar. Mike and crew are so great, he let's you know when he's coming, he shows up on time, they work hard, explain everything, offer helpful hints, replaced entire section of sewer pipe, had to dig up pavers and dig down 5 feet, were very tidy and careful. Finished on budget in one day! I can't say enough good things about this guy! read more

My wife called and told Mike what we had been experiencing, even describing the several actions I had taken to fix our backing up toilet & tub. He stopped her mid-way and said he what was up and could fix it. Could he see us in a few hours? Mike and his partner showed up in 2 hours, just as they said, jumped right into action and had our backed up sewer line fixed in less then 30 minutes. E Efficient & friendly. He said we got lucky he was able to see us so soon, but I am glad we got lucky! I could see with this kind of work how these guys would be in demand. For any future problems or projects, I know who I am calling :) read more

My elderly father lives in an old house in the McKinley Park neighborhood. When he told me he had a clogged drain I turned to Yelp for help. Over the years I have used just about every plumbing company you can name in the Sacramento area, all with mixed results and all with that sinking feeling you get when you feel you got screwed...yet again. So after reading the Yelp reviews I called Snappy Rooter and talked to Mike and set an appointment for the next day. He gave me a two hour appointment window, between 10 and 12. At 9:55 AM the crew showed up. The unclog the shower drain job quickly evolved into a unclog the main sewer line as well. The crew of Rich and Mitch worked very hard to clear everything, taking a little over an hour to do the work. They were prompt, courteous, cleaned up after the job, all for $75.00. I will use them again. Thanks Yelpers. read more

Sometimes you read reviews on Yelp and think they sound too good. I thought this might be the case with Snappy Rooter... everything sounded really great. We had a drain pipe from our kitchen start leaking, and ended up with a couple of inches of water in our basement. Yay. The Snappy Router boys came out, gave us options (fix just the broken part, or replace the whole pipe), and got the work done that day. It was an ugly, dirty job, but they got it done and did an awesome job. I don't give out 5 stars for everything, but in this case, they deserve it. I would definitely use them for future work. I'm a very happy guy with a dry basement. read more

Well, I guess you never know with old houses... We just moved to Sacramento a few months ago. Earlier today our drains went haywire.. the garage was flooded and the toilet spewed out a filthy, stinky mess. After I stopped gagging, I called up Sacramento Area Sewer District .. which I guess was the right move. You should always call them first. They came out and found that it was NOT their problem. So I was forced to call a plumber. Being new to the area I didn't really know who to call. I hopped on Yelp and found all the positive reviews for Snappy Rooter so I decided to give them a call. They came out 30 minutes later. 20 minutes after that they found and fixed the problem with their magic snake device. They charged me just $55! And a couple of super nice guys to boot! Oh yeah! read more

Snappy Rooter saves the day (and the wallet)! We spent about $250 on two trips from a plumber and the sink was still clogged. Then I turn to trusty Yelp, read the recommendations (and kicked myself for not doing that first), and called Snappy Rooter. They came right out, cleared the drain, and charged me $55.50 with a 30 day guarantee. Thank you Snappy Rooter (and thank you Yelp). read more

Snappy came out to fix what Bonney couldn't seem to finish. My house also has old *ss pipes. Snaked the line into the house and scoped my line with the video camera to check for any root intrusion. Another Satisfied Customer. NO COMPLAINTS. Easy to reach at 4:30pm on 1/13, They were busy for the next day and I didn't have an emergency so an appt. was set for 12-1p on 1/16. They called to alert me they were on the way at 12:30p and arrived shortly after. Big plus for showing up on time. They were quick. Left no mess (another big plus) and my 1923 bathroom sink and drain now drains freely. Price quoted and paid was 105.50.
