We contacted Snap Construction and worked with Matt to repair our roof after we found several shingle tabs missing due to wind. Matt answered all of our questions (and there were many) and willingly met with us ahead-of and during our meeting with our insurance adjuster. Matt was on-time or early for every meeting and replied promptly to all communications and even let us know when he was going to be out of the office for the holidays (even though our work had just finished). He was quick to schedule the install, working around weather as needed, and helpful when we had a hard time deciding which shingle color to go with. The foreman & crew working on the demo & install were also very quick, polite and patient with my questions. I was nervous about adding vents to the front of our house and was pushing to use ridge vents but our roof is unfortunately not compatible. The crew managed to install two vents on the front of our house in very inconspicuous places - I didn't even notice them at first!! Install was completed in 1 day, dumpster hauled away the next day and the foreman came back to finish clean up the next day. Some of the extra materials sat in our yard for a week or so before their contracted truck came to pick it up but that wasn't an issue for us. We are so happy with the work and our new roof!! I certainly can not speak for the others, however I had a great experience with Snap. They replaced my siding and a few windows that were old and rotted out. I will have them back to replace the rest when I am ready. I like the window that they used and the fact that it was made right here in Minnesota. The siding looks great. My home is older and they used a device to see into the walls to check what I had for insulation. Turns out I had little to nothing in my walls. They were able to fill my walls and I have to say the one cold week here did make a difference. My kitchen area was always cold in the past and is much more comfortable now. I would say they were 99% on! The scheduling was great, and I liked that there was a final walk through with them to be sure I was happy. There was some debris left in my yard that was cleaned up during the final inspection. I hadn't noticed it before as the items had dropped into snow that had since melted. We recently moved across country and upon our inspection of our new home, there was some hail damage discovered on the roof. Dan from Snap came out to take a look, also uncovering a need to new sliding doors and some windows. Snap worked with the insurance company, which as we all know, is a nightmare in itself, but they made the process super easy for us, and got it all covered and taken care of! They replaced our roof, gutters, gutter covers, and began the process for new windows all before we even showed up to our new home. The new roof looks amazing and you can see how high quality the work is. Snap was quick to respond, easy to work with, and did the drag work of dealing with insurance. We worked with Snap Construction to repair our roof because of hail damage. Our primary contact was Greg Burger. I must say that our experience was fantastic, from start to finish. Greg took the time out to discuss not only the work that they would perform but the entire process (including taking care of the insurance claim). The weather was iffy so the start date was moved several times (obviously no one's fault) and Greg was very diligent in keeping us updated on the schedule. Once the weather cleared up, Greg and his team completed the task in a single day and cleaned up the mess. Further, Greg came out to check out the finished work and called us to ensure that we were happy. Snap is a good business. They sent someone in person to look at the job and did not charge for the estimate. I got the estimate in writing. They said they will review for possible local energy company rebates and tax rebates and help with any paperwork. They were very specific as to the scope of work and materials that will be used. They are willing to split the project into two parts to accommodate the dry wall contractor's work. The baffles, access hatch, and vapor barrier are best to go in before the ceiling dry wall. Then they will come back and blow in the ceiling insulation. Their bid was close to but less than other insulation contractors. I suspect experience and efficiency, allows them to compete better. I did find Yelp cumbersome, but that is not this companies issue. read more

I had a tree fall on the corner of my house last summer and called in fall 2016 for an estimate for repair. It was mostly cosmetic damage and a bent gutter. I also needed a new rain cap put on the chimney. A supervisor (Dan) came out from Snap and said maybe we'd have to replace the whole roof because he might not be able to match the shingles (the roof is less than 8 years old). He said he'd get back to me. I called him about every two weeks or so, for at least three times. He always had an excuse about why he hadn't gotten back to me. The last time he told me he was going on vacation and would call me when he returned. That was November, I believe. It's now March. I gave up pursuing getting a quote. Apparently my job was too small to matter. VERY bad customer service. read more

Snap construction did a wonderful job on our roof. We got quotes from a few places and they were by far the cheapest, but also were very detailed with their process that I knew we were still receiving the highest quality of services. They completed our roof in a day, and installed gutter guards for us a few days later, and that process only took maybe an hour. Very impressed, very professional, very thorough. The work crew was professional and did quality work, even when encountering a few unexpected challenges on my nearly 100 year old house. Matt and his team are great! We had hail damage in Aug, they came out and helped me through the whole process, met with my adjuster while I was at work. My roof was completed just a couple weeks later, for only my $1500 deductible, not a penny more. I love the new color we chose, more importantly the wife is happy!
