On the evening of Aug. 9, 2020, a bad hail storm made it's way through the southwest metro of the Twin Cities. I thought my house was outside of the hail damage area, but another neighbor 6 blocks from me had turned in a successful claim for hail damage from that storm. To my untrained eye, I saw no damage on my roof whatsoever, but thought it might be a good idea to have someone inspect my roof just in case. I am very glad I worked with Brandon Turner, and I was greatly impressed with him and All Around. First off, Brandon spent over an hour inspecting and documenting my entire roof. Then he took the time to show me and explain to me what he had found (and there was a lot). I couldn't believe the amount of damage that I had missed, but that Brandon saw clearly and properly documented. Unlike many other roofing vendors, he wasn't pushy at all but just the opposite. He was patient with me, he took the time to explain things to me, and then let me make the decision of what was the right decision for me. I was very impressed with the level of detail he took to document the damage done to my roof. I then turned it in as a claim to my insurance company and Brandon and All Around took care of everything else! Brandon and All Around did all the work and communications with my insurance company. Then they installed a high quality and great looking roof with the extras we wanted (vented roof-cap, lifetime shingles, etc.). Also impressive was how fast they got the roof installed once they started working on it. The roof looks great! Brandon was very responsive, and either picked up on the first ring when I called him, or returned my call within an hour if I ever hit his voice mail. I ended up getting an entire new roof, 100% paid by insurance (less my deductible). All Around did all the negotiating with the insurance company. I also paid no up charges, no hidden fees, no junk fees, etc. at all by All Around. They did what they said they were going to do, for the price agreed upon, and they did a great job of it. They also did an EXCELLENT job cleaning up afterward (better than I had expected). I was so happy with my roof that I referred my mother-in-law to Brandon and All Around and they did her roof. Now she rants and raves about how nice her roof looks and how nice a guy Brandon is. If you're looking for a good, professional, local, established company that will do a great job and at the agreed upon price, you should work with Brandon Turner and All Around. When that storm came though last year I had roof damage from hail. Lets be honest, all roofing companies were scrambling to get all the work they had on their plates done. My roof was finished when they said it would be finished. We had an issue w/ an awning, god knows how it ever got through multiple inspections, that became a safety problem during the roofing & All Around took care of it. They did what they said they would. Left everything better than when they found it. Yes, they are not the cheapest. I don't want the cheapest. I want quality & stand up guys. From my experience: They only want renovation projects. Don't waste your time with them if you have smaller projects. I had contacted all around in 2015 after they had been advertising heavily on the radio- I reached out about various projects around my house, both interior and exterior. I was told by at least two people that they would send me contact info for other contractors that would be better suited for the work i needed done- i never heard back from either. Fast forward, the owner is now trying to persuade me to remove my review. I understand the disappointment in having a negative review- but that is my honest experience with this company. In the four times the owner has commented or messaged me about my review he has never asked what the project was nor has he offered to give me an estimate or contact info for other vendors so his responses below hold no merit. read more

Had a major siding problem and called All Around, they had someone at my door the next day. They provided a detailed estimate and assigned me a project manager. Dealing with All Around's sales staff was a breeze. Setting up the bid, picking out the materials, getting the permits and everything was a piece of cake. The materials even showed up on time, and within the window quoted. Phone calls are answered immediately, emails are returned within a timely fashion. The problem is they seem to have fictional builders that don't exist. My deck builder was supposed to be here Wednesday (8/30/2017) to start construction on our deck. He disappeared off the face of the earth. Even All Around couldn't reach him by phone. Then he was supposed to come straight here after an inspection today (Friday), which is a whopping 35 minutes away by car. That was 3 hours ago. It is currently 3:30 on a 3-day weekend. Who is going to start a job this late in the day? EDIT 9/1/2017: Although it turns out the builder is real (he came by to look at the site for about 20 minutes), I will not change my rating until the last nail is pounded in place. EDIT 9/11/2017: Have a city inspection today at 2pm for the footings for the deck. However, there are no footings to inspect. It will be interesting to see if the builder bothers to show up to dig them before the city comes to inspect a whole lot of nothing. I anticipate he won't show up again as I have not seen him in a week and a half. EDIT 9/11/2017: Got a call from our salesperson that All Around fired our builder due to his unreliability. That makes me feel good. Now we wait to see if the replacement builder shows up in 2 weeks to do the week long job that's taken over a month and hasn't even been started. Meanwhile, the materials sit in our driveway getting rained on, and bending over a pallet. Good thing we don't need to get our boat or camper out of the back yard, as those materials are in the way while they wait to be made into something. EDIT 9/25/2017: Builders showed up this morning in the rain and in just a few short hours the floor joists are in place and the city has inspected the footings that were already in place and able to be re-used (weird construction from the previous deck), making the job easier than they had planned. This should speed up construction to be finished in just a few days, after which time I can change my rating. EDIT 9/26/2017: Deck was finished today, after only a 2-day build (in the rain!) It is beautiful, and is exactly what we wanted! After a rocky start All Around came through for us, and we got a good job done expertly. I have now changed my rating to 5 stars, as All Around does deserve the full rating. I DO highly recommend All Around. I hope to call them back when it is time to replace another deck on the house. They worked hard to make sure we were happy and they went to great lengths to make sure the job was done and done right the way we wanted it. read more

I emailed AllAround through their website. I got a call back within 5 minutes! The owner, Charles, asked what I needed and told me the project was better suited for his electrician. He sent over my request to his electrician and was very professional about everything. Very nice guy, very easy to talk to, and was not rude when he realized I wasn't giving him any money (which I find is rare when talking with busy contractors). I cannot speak for his work, but I can speak for his professional manner and thought he was top notch. I will be absolutely sure to use this company if I ever need big projects done on our home. read more

We got knocked with some hail and from the moment I called them to come out and help with assessing the damage, I knew they were going to be a great fit. Brandon Derby was the best and helped us with everything. He takes his time and educates rather than just trying to make a dollar. They provide the best product from the multiple companies I checked with. I had an instant rapport with Brandon and All Around and that meant a lot. The most impressive thing about this company is the integrity. We had a deck installed and a year or so later there were issues due to no fault of this company but that if a contractor I am happy to say they got rid of. All Around failed to show up for a scheduled appointment. They did not bother to call before or after the scheduled time. On Thursday 5/7, I reached out to All Around for an estimate to have windows replaced in my home. The appointment was originally scheduled for the following Tuesday (5/12). Shortly after I got off phone from booking my original appointment, the Estimator/Sales person who was schedule to come out to my house called me back to reschedule the appointment to the next day - which was fine. After that phone call I did not hear from anyone at All Around regarding my appointment, so I called the day before the appointment to confirm the time. The gentleman who answered the phone told me to call the Estimator/Sales person I talked to and gave me his number. I called the Estimator/Sales person and left a voicemail asking him to call me back to confirm my appointment for the following day. I never received a call back from anyone at All Around - they were a no call, no show to the appointment. I was upset with how things panned out so I wrote a review on BBB and it wasn't until AFTER my review that I received a call from the Company's Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Estimator/Sales person I had talked to the week before. I was very disappointed that the COO of the company placed the blame on me for their lack of communication and that it was my "misunderstanding". In my opinion, the way All Around handled the situation was very unprofessional and not what I would expect from a Company who's motto is "We Get It Done & We Do It Right". I will NOT be recommending All Around to any of my friends, family members or co-workers. read more

All Around has been a great company to work with. Especially Jack B. who provided excellent customer service and was always willing and able to help and answer my questions. The work by their crew was fast, efficient and I wound up with a great looking roof! I experienced quite a few difficulties and issues with my Insurance company in regards to additional required work that was needed on my roof in order for the job to be completed. Jack was there to help every step of the way through out my 3 month fight with the insurance company. He not only provided any and all documentation I needed to have them review and then re-review my claims. He took the time out of his day to call the claims team personally and explain what work was done and why. Without his assistance I would still be going back and forth with my insurance company and potentially be out of pocket on some expenses.
