They couldn't make a good smoothie if their life depended on it. The drinks are consistently terrible, and somehow they're too stupid to follow a simple recipe. This place can't even manage the basics: they can't open the store on time, they leave their order-ahead app on when they're closed, and when you actually do get your order, it's a disaster. The city should shut this shithole down immediately. Smoothie King corporate should be ashamed to let the owner of this location within 50 feet of another Smoothie King. I will drive to the Garland, Rockwall, or Mesquite location before I will go to the Rowlett location again. After several attempts to see if their product or service would improve I gave up. Their smoothies would either taste like flavored water because nothing was smooth about it or there would be missing ingredients. The manager at the time, may be different now, took my smoothie and added the ingredient I said was missing and stirred it in with a utensils from the front of the counter (had an employee to hand her the spice). I recall that she was not behind the counter when I walked in but was either cleaning or restocking. And the way and manner in which she did it was a total turn off and after that I was done. This was the last straw not the first. Prior to that I had to go back several times to return smoothies because they were watery not smooth! I can't speak much to the ambience because the only time I went inside was to return the smoothie so I wasn't thinking about the ambience. Inconsistent smoothies, flippant staff and this last visit I observed the staff finish sweeping and emptying trash and then right into making a smoothie. A female comes on laughing barely can here mw for laughing on speaker. I ordered two medium smoothies 32 ounces one with a boost of energy. Two smoothies $21.04 no problem. I drive around and pay. She hands me 40 oz smoothie I told her I ordered a medium I mean my son has to go to school so it's no way I would of ordered that. She hands me a larger with hair on it. Her long black or dark brown hair is on my cup that's still in her hand and the other half in mine. As I tell her I didn't order a large. She then tells me you sure you didn't have this.
