I had a margarita on happy hour menu and it was tasty. For my entree, I got the chicken enchiladas. They were presented very nicely and very flavorful. I hear their brunch is also amazing as well.

I requested our group to be placed in a corner since we were dining in with 2 kids and an infant who would be sitting in a stroller. She had said they were fully booked and a different party needed the table I was eyeing since they would be coming in with 3 strollers. I was there from 9am-11am on a Friday and it was not packed nor did a family use the table I wanted while I was there. No one came in with 3 strollers either. Aside from that, I was trying to be helpful so the stroller wouldn't get in the way of customers and wait staff. The host basically made it harder for them, not me. I started with the hazelnut oat mocha and this was delicious. This was the highlight of my time there. For food I tried the Shakshouka and it was not good. The pouched eggs were not cooked. From my pictures - it looks like the eggs were cracked in the dish and the chef called it a day. I didn't chance eating it, I ate the pita it came with and left very hungry. I'm giving Beatrix a generous 2 due to the space being beautiful and my latte being great. Unfortunately this is not a spot I'll be returning to.

Some younger friendly college students were working there and made sure I got everything I needed to dine in at the cute counter by the front. Also I got my stuff only 7 minutes after I ordered! Nice and fast. The only reason I rated 4 stars and not 5 was the seats were small and uncomfortable, and the outdoor area wasn't much better. I'd still give this place a try but do take out

The menu clearly outlines the item's protein, fiber and caloric counts to also consider. While most items have a recommended protein, you can switch it out for another choice. My husband and I each got a Mexicali Burrito; his with chicken and mind with tofu. It was a good sized portion and ingredients were fresh & well mixed inside. I did get a huge kale steam in my burrito but fished it out. While I thought the flavors were good, it didn't leave me craving to come back. I did leave feeling full but not weighed down like most fast casual spots.

I was dehydrated, exhausted, and in desperate need of revival. I ordered a protein shake, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that thing brought me back to life. A few sips in and suddenly I could feel my soul returning to my body. It was cold, creamy, packed with protein, and exactly what I needed after sweating out what felt like 40% of my body weight. The atmosphere was just as refreshing as the shake. Everything was super clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and everyone I interacted with was genuinely nice. Bonita Bowls might officially be a smoothie and bowl place, but at that moment it was basically an emergency medical facility. I walked in barely functioning and walked out feeling like I might actually survive my life choices. My muscles are still mad at me, but at least now I have a delicious protein shake and a fighting chance.

CONS: - The girl taking my order looked s o . b o r e d . - The Superbiotic Green Wrap I ordered kind of sucked. It was swimming (ugh) in cucumber dill dressing and the collard greens were soggy/chewy -- not crunchy and easy to eat. I ended up dumping the contents of the wrap out in a bowl and spooning it out instead. It was fine, but I wouldn't order it again. - My Lifesupport juice gave me the healthy boost I needed, but the banana taste was much stronger than I expected. I desperately wanted to love this place, especially after my friend raved about it and took me here, but I wasn't really impressed. She ordered the Pangoa bowl (without chicken) and it was good. I probably would have a better experience if I ordered something other than my wrap. I'm willing to come back to try the Bliss Bowl, but otherwise, no need to go out of my way to eat here.
