Sangria!! Berry burst and strawberries.

I've been coming to this location for about 10 years and have loved it ever since! The waitress we had was very kind and has taken care of us for years in the past . I always loved the modern yet cozy feel of a Smokey bones. When we were here, we watched some of the Olympics while we got our chicken wings and nachos. I came here for lunch with my guest this time and we both got an order of chicken wings smoked, I got the mini nachos and she got a salad . The smoked chicken wings with garlic Parm sauce are really good ! Smoked is the only way you should go with the wings here!! Although the nachos are mini, they were perfect portion size and perfect for lunch! I only wish they had guacamole to go with it, but otherwise they were fantastic Definitely a great spot for lunch

Smokey Bones has some enticing daily specials. Wednesdays are BOGO dinner pulled pork platters which makes them about the price of a fast food meal. I used to go all the time but there is not one located near to me so after an AM doctor appointment, I realized the Colonial location was just down the street. I arrived just after they opened and there were a few occupied tables. WOW! I got outstanding service and my server made suggestions on sides, was attentive and I can't say enough about her initiative. Of course I got the pulled pork platters. The dinner platter comes with two sides and like many restaurants they have premium sides for an up charge. Pro tip: get the cornbread with pecan butter upgrade for 99 cents I ordered two pork platters , one to eat there and one to go. My sides were baked potato, broccoli, green beans and corn bread. I like that they have sides beyond your usual smokehouse offerings: potatoes au gratin, fire roasted corn and garlic mashed potatoes. The sauce selection at Smokey bones is interesting in that they have chipotle and vinegar based options all the time. My favorite is the original and I was expecting to slather it on some just cooked pulled pork. Well I am not sure what was up in the kitchen. I was not enjoying the dry pile of meat and I asked for a to go box. Then I realized I did not even want to take it home, so I told my server that the pork was really not up to my expectations. She whisked away my plate and the to go order and came back in mere minutes with both platters of fresh pulled pork packed to go. What they are known for is the hot bag of donuts which is a classic and you can also earn by filling out a survey from your receipt. They have a newer dessert I want to try which is roasted banana pudding: vanilla pudding topped with roasted bananas and cookie wafers, topped with whipped cream and more cookies. The decor is similar to a lodge with neon accents and they have a rectangular bar with many TVs. It is a large restaurant that can accommodate bigger parties and they have many booths and tables. Despite the hiccup I left very satisfied and dreaming of their roasted banana pudding.

Updated review. We stopped here later evening as my husband wanted to try. This visit was great. Our server Steve made our experience perfect. He ordered the shrimp and ribs. Loved it. I had the pulled pork Sammy with a side of sweet potato fries. We left nothing on our plates! Appetizer of the mild boneless Buffalo wings. Great perfectly crispy marinated on outside and tender on the inside. My partner said several times during our meal "I want to come here every week!" One negative? The drinks weren't very strong. Good service, yummy food hence my update.

My steak was cooked perfectly. The service was good. And the restaurant was nice inside.

Cornbread. I miss the old cornbread. This isn't as good

First I want to give kudos to our server who was very nice and kindly answered all of our questions and hem hawing at the table We ordered the cornbread. We haven't been in a while. They used to serve this tasty moist cornbread in a pan. Now it's these cheap little basically tasteless cornbread you can get anywhere . Equal to maybe Sonny's. Their honey nut butter is still delish The pulled pork Sammy is delish. Plenty of meat on the Sandwich. Good choices of bbq sauce My aunt got the pulled chicken Sammy and she was very happy with it Tip: I got a coupon when I signed in on Yelp for a good price on a special. The server said she'd never seen the coupon before. The manager said the same thing. They did honor the coupon. So sign in as soon as you get there and use your coupon! Restaurant is clean. Fun signs on the wall.

Good food, great services and lots of options. We loved the nachos and the Nutty Chicken Salad. Lots of games in the TV to keep the boys entertained. Great drinks and a killer happy hour.

We had a party at three. Toni was our server. I left my prescription eyeglasses on the table. She did even turn them in. She took our drinks away from us and never returned with them. We finally were able to flag her down after several attempts we asked her for our drink so all she could say is "for sure." Two of us ordered ribs one ordered a half rack which was edible. The full rack was not edible at all. They did not charge us for the full rack, but not even one person came over to apologize about it. Server had zero empathy Manager didn't come to the table. I would rate this place zero stars if I could definitely not a Darden restaurant anymore. My hamburger had so much grease at the bottom. Bun was even able to pick up off the plate because it was sopping wet eat dirt at your own risk. I'll never be back. Tell Toni to enjoy my prescription glasses. I need them more than she does. Thief!

I'm so sad..... our Smokey homes journey started in at another location in Florida when a family member invited us out to dinner. There were so many great local spots in the area that we never thought to venture away. We ended up loving their fall off the bone delicious ribs and perfectly cooked street corn! We ordered takeout from this location after a long day so I'm hoping I can update this review. It was two hours prior to close and unfortunately those fall off the bone ribs were chew off the bone ribs :(.......... And we bought two full racks. The street corn was mush but at least their garlic bread and mash potatoes were as good as carbs are. Again I'm hoping I can update this review but I highly would caution if it's close to closing time at this location.

Half Rack Baby Back Ribs with BBQ Baked Beans and Potato Wedges.
Vinroy M.

Taste: 7/10 The taste wasn't too bad overall. I did like the Baked Beans. It was a bit too sweet, but I liked it. It fixed any sweet tooth I had. The ribs themselves were okay with the sauce. The sauce was the start of the show, not really the ribs. The potato wedges tasted how they should have. Add a little salt and pepper, and you'll be fine. Appearance: 10/10 Refer to photo Value: 7/10 I received this as a BOGO, so I went this route. General Comment: This isn't a "you have to experience this" type of food. It's almost a food of "convenience." The quality seems different than when I was younger, but I'll blame that on me. If you want something quick for a family dinner or something, this will meet that requirement.

It's been quite a while since we have been to Smokey Bones and I imagine it will be quite a while until we return. Although the food tasted amazing I found the prices far to high for what we received. To start the chips and queso had a nice taste there was barely enough for 8 chips not to mention they were out of the chorizo that was supposed to be in it. I had to ask multiple times for refill of my water and the music was far to loud. The dining area was clean and staff friendly but overall just not a good deal.

Exactly the type of food you'd Expect from this kind of chain. Had the happy hour burger and a peach fizz. Burger was cooked to perfection Friendly staff even though we came in at 11pm The empty glass says everything you need to know

We have never been but always wanted to come in so we finally got the chance to come and try it! Very open concept and a lot of indoor seating! There is a wrap around bar in the middle of the restaurant with 9 tvs wrapped around it as well. A good selection of beers on draft as well. Erin was our server and she was awesome! Knew the answer to anything I asked and was great! We went ahead and ordered off the Lunch Menu; I ordered the Hand Pulled Pork and my wife got the Baked Potato with Brisket. Entrees: Pork was rolling! Baked beans were phenomenal! It was so much food! Beans sauce was a great taste, toast was also great! The Mexican corn was great, but I was so full I couldn't finish it! My wife's baked potato was great, brisket had an awesome flavor! She got the Caesar salad which was also a great size! Overall we'd come back and like to try more of the menu but we are excited we got to finally come in and we will def come back!

We came for a late dinner and were seated right away and our server was very nice. They were a bit understaffed and the food was fairly mediocre. The boneless wings were too breaded and the taki corn was nothing special. The best parts were the pulled pork, cheddar jalapeno sausage, and banana pudding. We had to wait a long time for our check and we were splitting it. After some time the server came back and said they were only able to run one of the cards and lost power before he could run the other card. He kept the other card and said they were waiting for the power to come back on. This added an extra 20-30 minutes to our experience and eventually he came back and said they couldn't get the system back up and wanted to take down my credit card. We paid with cash instead. I think this could've been handled better.

I wish I knew his name, but I loved his service. The wine and the espresso martini were really good. My girlfriend, especially like the espresso martini and its blend of liquor with the tartness. In terms of the food, it was all really wonderful. The chicken and dumplings came with this delicious sauce that I couldn't get enough off. The potato dumplings were alright, but the seasoning and mix of the sauce was perfect for the chicken. The serving size was good as well and there was barely any bone to interrupt eating it. My girlfriend said that the steak was cooked perfectly medium as they asked. The steak sauce paired really well, and they had enough for leftovers, and enjoyed it even more the day after. The Mac & cheese was alright, we just wish there had been more of a crunch to the cheese. However, we both really liked the shape of the pasta as we don't really see those as often. Also not depicted here, but we got the cocktail shrimp. My girlfriend loved this one too, specifically noting how large and cold the shrimps were. The cocktail sauce was delicious and had a nice kick to it, and definitely squeeze the lemon that comes with it on the shrimp. Since it was an anniversary, they surprised us with complimentary dessert that was phenomenal. My girlfriend doesn't really like cheesecake or coconut, but somehow loved the dessert. It's an off menu item but it blends coconut, cheesecake, and a brownie.

Service was good though. I must have ordered the wrong things this time, and I was there for happy hour. The crab rangoon squash blossom was kind of fishy. I was expecting something that looked like or was housed in a squash blossom, but it was a fried ball of gloppy crab filling. I also ordered the jalapeño popper deviled eggs. It was a stunner, but this is not the app for you if you're not all about the yolk. It was yolk on yolk on yolk. I wanted something to brighten it up, like a pickled veggie or pickled onions maybe. I've had better taste experiences at The Monroe before, but this wasn't one of them, unfortunately.

First, when I checked in the receptionist asked me to wait for a while for the bar seating and she would seat me in a few minutes. I felt strange as there were vacant seats, but I did as what she said. I sat outside for ~10min but got no response from here, so I went inside and asked her and now she told me I could sit at the vacant seat... Weird. Then when I ordered the food, I was told that if I want some bread, I had to "order the $11 pan con tomate and the kitchen would take care of it by not putting on the cheese or tomato sauce on it". Ridiculous. It is also strange that an American Michelin restaurant does not offer some (plain) bread for guests. For the food, I got the Caesar salad and Cassoulet. The greens were fresh and the pickled egg, which tasted sour-sweet, was interesting. The duck leg confit was perfectly cooked. The skin was super crispy and the meat had a nice smoky flavor. The petite salad on the side was good as well. But I was expecting more beans and sausage.

We were especially impressed that servers not tending to our table placed orders/knew of orders and communicated with the waitress serving us. Most restaurants struggle to keep orders ready with the designated server, this place EXCELLED with communication. We all enjoyed a variety of different cocktails, all of which were delicious (however a bit pricy for some) and all partook in appetizers and entrees. ALL of the food was delicious and had fair portions, couldn't say enough good things. This place is a bit cramped but not horribly, the decor is cute and everything is clean :) Most importantly, to celebrate the birthday we were brought a tres leches cake that paired very nicely with the pastelitos and cafecito service! The vibe is very small and intimate run entirely by a husband and wife staff of two. They had 5 parties dining at the same time and seemed to be their only searing for the Friday evening. The wife was our server and was super friendly. They had reached out to me ahead of time due to my crustacean allergy originally saying one of the courses was shrimp which they had no substitute for and so I asked if I could double up on something else and they said they would see what they could do. Not only did they have a substitute (we got to be the first ones to try a brand new chicken dish) but they made sure everyone at the table also got a serving. The meal was 3 courses made up of 5 dishes and they had a 3 and 5 wine glass pairing. The shrimp were huge and I loved the crunch kernels in the salad. The chicken was juicy and had a nice kick. The steak was so tender and the mushrooms were crunchy and flavorful. The sauce in the dessert was also surprisingly flavorful. The only time available for reservation is at 7pm, and only a set number of tables are served at that time. We start with olives as the appetizer, which were surprisingly enjoyable, I normally hate olives but these taste more like olive oil rather than actual olives. Only thing was it was a little saltier than I would have liked. Next was the salad, which was one of the better dishes. It was light, refreshing, and different tastes and textures with the crunchy corn. For the proteins, overall lots of great flavors and is cooked to perfection. My only complaint, again, is that too much salt is used for my liking. The first bite is the best, but then you start to feel it, the need for water. Finally the dessert were picarones, fried sweet potato with a fruit syrup. I was not a fan of the donut to syrup ratio, theres way too much syrup, but at least it's a nice contrast of sweet and crispy golden on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside. I also liked the quantity of the food, had leftovers to take back which is a lot for a Michellin star restaurant.
