Smoke Daddy - Spin the wheel - Barbeque Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Great Brisket! We walked over after taking a tour at Wrigley Field to eat here as they were offering a 10% discount for tour attendees. Plus, we really like BBQ. The staff welcomed us right away and guided us to the correct area. Both of us got the sandwich with the brisket in it and made sure to sample the entire 'flight' of BBQ sauces they had on the table. It was hard to pick a favorite one as they were all good. The entire restaurant has a great view of Wrigley. I can only imagine how crowded this place can get during games - it wasn't while we were there, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back and try something else on the menu. read more

Came here on a Saturday morning before the crowd for the afternoon Cubs game showed up and I'm glad we did! It was a spur of the moment breakfast/brunch option and ended up being really tasty. We sat outside in the upstairs patio which was nice and quiet when we arrived. Our server was really helpful and walked us through the menu. We ended up doing the family style brunch because MONKEY BREAD. But seriously, the family style brunch is a really great deal. Along with the monkey bread, everyone gets to choose a brunch menu item. A platter is served with fruit, bacon, pancakes, sausage, and hashbrowns and it's bottomless, so they'll refill it depending on how hungry you are. The monkey bread, pancakes, bacon, and hash browns were all so delicious and definitely my favorites from the brunch. The bacon was thick cut and crispy (is there anything worse than flimsy bacon that lets you down?) this did not! The meal I chose was the barnyard sandwich (brisket, bacon, egg, cheddar cheese). This didn't blow me away by any means, but it was decent. My friend went with the brisket skillet which is probably what I would get next time. By the time we finished, the place was completely full and they even had live music! Our server was speedy and kind. We will definitely be back. read more

Amazing food and service. The beef rib is to die for! Also love the cornbread and Cole slaw.

Food is delicious! Great vibe. Hostess was super friendly and helpful. Don't miss the skillet cookie.

If you're near Wrigley Field and in the mood for hearty eats and boozy brunching without breaking the bank, this BBQ spot hits the sweet spot. Right across from the stadium, it's got prime location, solid smokehouse fare, and a bottomless brunch that's worth planning your weekend around. Expect good music, a lot of laughter, and plenty of game-day energy, especially if you're brunching before a game. Despite the crowd (especially on game days), the staff is attentive, friendly, and fast. read more

Came here twice because our first experience was so great! Sunday Brunch with Sarah as our server was fantastic! Bottomless Aperol Spritz! Do not pass up the smoked chicken and vegetable soup. Walked in for a reservation, sat immediately and had an incredible time. The bottomless deal is incredible. Ivan is the best!

Came here on a Sunday for my cousin's birthday and it the brunch spot. Family style brunch for $19 with the option for bottomless mimosas for an additional $27. Not bad at all, shout out to our waitress Elise for keeping the drinks flowing. The space itself is pretty straight forward, no bells and whistles but gets the job deal. Will definitely be back for the monkey bread if nothing else, a must try. read more

We didn't really come here for the food, we came for the view and ambiance and drinks! They were able to seat us on the balcony with good visibility do the big tron on Gallagher way. I got myself a Bloody Mary, and I can say this is one of the best top value Bloody Mary ever! It comes with a little spare rib AND a side car of Miller beer. The mix you can tell was made in house. That side car was such a good addition! I would just come here for the BMs. We also got the mixed platter to share. It was pretty good. The brisket wasn't too dry, you'll need to try their sauces on it. The burnt ends were flavorful. The Mac and cheese could use some work, but overall a good platter to share and enjoy the game while drinking some Bloodys. read more

Upper level was booked for a party and our party of 3 came in without a reservation. Hostess was pretty rude and said our only option was to sit at window. We looked around and there were tables open. I finally asked again could we be put in a wait list and she said maybe 30 minutes. Manager came over and magically we were seated. The hostess didn't even acknowledge our thank yous. Waitress was excellent though! read more

We were able to snag a table here during Sunday's game and we got the perfect outdoor table with a straight view of the big screen at Wrigley's. The heaters were nice and warm and the staff was super friendly! We ordered a couple of their specialty bloody Mary's that come with a smoked rib! It was delicious, not to mention fun for photos! It also comes with a sidecar which makes it extra worth the $10! We ordered a two meat platter just to munch on while we drank and watched the game - the brisket and burnt ends were really good! They also have a wide variety of bbq sauces at the table that you can use. The sides we chose for the platter were sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese.. the fries were really good, but I could probably do without on the Mac next time. read more

Food = Super Delicious Service = Nice, full of suggestions and order done in a timely manner I will most definitely go back. I had the smoked meats platter with chicken and brisket. It comes with 2 sides and so I went with the cornbread and mac. OMG this cornbread and butter was enough reason to go back. Moist, sweet and savory. The chicken was ok but I went in with brisket on my mind and so Im happy for that. All the right flavors and tender. The mac and cheese was creamy and made just right. We did take out and so I can't remember the young lady's name. It was a Friday evening but she was super awesome in helping me to determine what would be a good option. read more

Had a great experience at smoke daddy for brunch! They have a family style brunch option. $19 per person for bacon, sausage, fruit, pancakes and monkey bread! (Unlimited) plus it comes with an entree choice. I got chicken & waffles & my wife got pulled pork breakfast nachos. It was a hit for the whole family. We will probably add to our brunch rotation list. Our server Elise was great. I felt a little like the bar atmosphere might not be good for family but it was fine. They had a high chair and a kids menu. read more

My friend and I stopped here before heading over to Wrigley to enjoy the Christkindlmarket. Let me say, the decorations were so pretty! The food was just so good! My friend and I got the brunch option on a Saturday. I got the pulled pork eggs Benedict and my friend got the skillet. You pick one of four entrees and they bring a platter of bottomless options. The platter has bacon, sausage, pancakes, hashbrown casserole and fruit bowl. The sauges and bacon was just incredible. The only thing that was a little frustrating, once we got the food, we had to keep flagging down our server for everything. Plus we had to ask for the monkey bread, even though it was listed as one of the available sides. Not sure why we had to specifically ask for it when it was included. Man oh man was that delicious. I've never had before and it was so good! read more

Great food. However a table top advertisement had daily specials. Our waiter said they were only available after 4pm so he would enter the order after 4. We ordered the nachos and AFTER eating them we were told the specials weren't available on game days. Nowhere on the advertisement did it say that, as a matter of fact it said subject to availability for all Wrigley Field events. So our $5 nachos were $17. read more
