Came to smoke daddy's after a cubs game. The smoked platter and the service was exceptional!

Great cubby vibes! Right across from stadium. Highly recommend going before or after a game.

Great food! Great ambiance. Service was impeccable! Alex was an amazing server. Would definitely recommend the ribs

We ordered nachos and we found a pill on top of the cheese. Good news is that they did not make us pay for the nachos. Told us the cook had a headache and dropped a A PILL ON THE NACHOS. It was like...sorry about this but the cook had a headache...what's the big deal? Yes there was a PILL on the nachos. read more

Holidays at Smoke daddy - get the smores platter So much fun! They DECKED OUT the entire restaurant with fun decor & trees. Even did an ICE CARVING demo as a part of their Lumberjack Lodge special for this time of the year, filled with fun activities & Christmas cocktails (ad - @midwestmunching on Instagram) I got the : Lost in the Woods (mezcal base & comes with rosemary ) Ginger Pomegranate Margarita Others include the Eggnog Freeze, Campfire Cider, Choc Cherry Old Fashioned, Nutty & Nice (baileys), Lumberjack Juice (bourbon), This holiday , make sure to share the S'MORES DESSERT . It comes with lots of s'mores + your own mini fireplace @reeses @hersheys and graham crackers Don't forget to share their DOUBLE MEAT NACHOS It was a HUGE Platter and something I was THOROUGHLY surprised at. They double fry the chips so they are extra crunchy. It comes with 2 types of meat of your choice - I got the smoked chicken + burnt ends. So so good. It's topped with their own chilli (from scratch with pork & ground beef). They added a slightly more vinegary bbq sauce on top which helps cut through the fat. And of course tomatoes, onions, and just the right amount of cheese Lastly the ST LOUIS SPARE RIBS platter - smokeyness , fall off the bone + Mac & cheese & corn bread (topped with honey butter) so so good. Makes me so happy and fat for this winter Ps my server Will was the best! read more

We recently visited Smoke Daddy in Wrigleyville. The music was "honky tonk" and very loud, I asked our waitress if she could lower the volume a little and she did. I would have thought they would have "Blues" instead of Country considering it's a "rib joint". We were seated right away and then I assume the manager put a regular menu, a specials menu, and a drink menu. He tapped on the special menu and said "I would go with the specials menu". I looked at the specials menu but they were also listed on the regular menu at the same price. I didn't understand that. I wanted to order the 1/2 slab baby back ribs choice of two types of meat and two sides, our waitress said "let me check with my manager", and she came right back and said "sorry but we don't have ribs today". It had something to do with a large order I'm not quite sure, at any rate, I decided on the burnt ends and brisket combo, with mac & cheese and cornbread. I thought the food was very good and our waitress was always around with refills. I would go back again or might try the other location in Wicker Park for comparison. read more

I had them cater a birthday party for my wife, they came on time, were great about setting up, the food couldn't be better but if you ever dined in their restaurant you already know, I would always have just them cater. read more

Allison is amazing! She's so friendly and fun and attentive. And the food is delicious

I am a huge fan of both locations! The lodge is a great place to celebrate while eating amazing bbq, my personal favorite are the smoked wings and the platters where you can try everything! There's so much to love about this place. First of all, it's directly across the street from Wrigley Stadium so it's perfect for Wrigleyville activities and a short walk from the subway station. Second, the food is AMAZING. Absolutely love the Brisket sandwich. It's so delicious. They have four signature BBQ sauces to choose from and each is great. Recommend grabbing a bottle to take home too. They have tons of drinks options, a clean bathroom and the ambiance is always fun and lively. The service is always quick and friendly and the staff is always a fun time. read more

Smoke Daddy is a great BBQ restaurant across the street from Wrigley Field. My family and I went there before going to a Chicago Cubs game. We made reservations, which I recommend because it will fill up before a Chicago Cubs game. We were seated on the second floor. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area. We were waited on promptly, and the server kept coming back to check on us throughout the night. My husband and I tried all of their smoked meats. The burnt ends were by far the best. The cornbread side was surprisingly good. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie skillet for dessert. All of the food was delicious. The most surprising part of the meal was the price. For Chicago, and especially Wrigleyville, the prices were very reasonable, maybe even cheap. I recommend Smoke Daddy for excellent food, service, and prices. It's a great spot to go before going to Wrigley Field and being overcharged there. read more

I went there after a cubs game on Labor Day so excited for some BBQ pork, however after we sat down we were told they were out of pork. How is a BBQ restaurant out of pork? I substituted with pulled chicken and it was just not the same. Super disappointed read more

Food- We came to this restaurant with great expectations as we were recommend this spot form a tour guide in wrigleys. I ordered nachos that were very dry and basic. The nachos came with a bit of cheese bbq sauce and a few chili beans. I left majority of the nachos on the try. My friends ordered ribs that they enjoyed. The ribs came with a dry rub and bbq sauces on the side. We also ordered the smoke chicken that was really juicy. Service- The service was horrible. Once we arrived we waited to be greeted because the hosts were talking in the corner. The place was not busy at all. As we ate the waitress didn't ask for us for refills we had to walk up and ask for refills. Over all I would not return. The food was mediocre. read more

Came with my husband and two kids after a long day of youth sports and enjoyed wonderful service from the hostess to the waitress, to the waitress in training and bartenders. Can't beat the view of Wrigley with the wall-length windows open on a warm spring evening when the Cubs are on the road. read more

Good meats, ribs were very good, soft and fell right off the bone. Cornbread was delicious and slightly spicy. Excellent selection of sauces at the table so you can dress your meat as you please. The wings on the appetizer platter were amazing, very good crispy skin. I would just the wings to start next time. read more

This place is just the coolest. High energy vibe, industrial style interior, and massive windows so you can people-watch as finance bros line up to watch the Cubs lose again. In other words, there's plenty to keep you busy while you wait for your food. Speaking of the food, omg it's good. I got the burnt ends sandwich as a rec from our waitress, the mac'n'cheese, and the BBQ pork nachos. All of it was the stuff of dreams read more

Food and service was Amazing. Was a typical sports bar ambiance with good drinks and great service.

One of the worst bbq restaurants I've experienced in my life . The baby backs are terrible even applying bbq sauce to them didn't work . The beans were also terrible and tasted like chili beans instead of baked beans . The food is definitely not worth the money unless you're drunk and hungry and have money to waste . Instead of smoke daddy should be called Joke Daddy cause the food is a Joke . read more

So much fun!!! Love their BBQ. Best place to eat near wrigley! Staff was excellent. You need to check this out!

Came here for brunch on my endless mission to find the best bottomless brunch in the city. I think for the area, this place is pretty good. This place is actually a lot bigger than I was thinking. There's the downstairs with plenty of mixed seating as well as a bar. Upstairs is also pretty large & it actually seems like there's some pretty good lighting up there. The bottomless brunch deal is really good. For about $45 you get an entree, a choice of bottomless drinks, and then they bring various 'starter' items to your table. The food is also bottomless, so if you want more of something be sure to ask. The real standout food for us were the hashbrowns. I have no idea what they did to them but they were AMAZING. (and this was before we got drunk off of our bottomless mimosas, so that's really saying something). It seems like there's also live music during brunch, so that was an added bonus for us. Overall, this is probably the only place I would opt to go to in Wrigley. read more

We had brunch there this weekend. First off, the "Lodge Theme" is really well done. It's a great vibe and the staff is very good. We took our kids (7 and 12) but admitted it would have been fun with a group of friends too. The family platter hits all the things the kids love for breakfast: pancakes, sausage, bacon and fruit. And monkey bread. (Take on cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting) Then you get your choice of entree which includes BBQ based sandwiches and skillets or eggs your way. (Unlimited on all fronts) The bottomless drink option is $27. (We take full advantage being with waking distance.) Overall, we enjoy it. I *like the food but don't love it otherwise it would be 5 stars. read more

Best food ever!!! Lily was the best server!!! I would recommend getting the barbacue burger and the loaded fries, it's absolutely fantastic!

Waited for our server for 20 minutes. Tried to flag a server down but were ignored. After 20 minutes, we simply left. Easy 1 star review.

I took my 3 siblings to Smoke Daddy when they visited. A friend had told me about the nachos so we ordered those as well as the Taste of the Daddy which included ribs, two meats and two sides. The four of us left Smoke Daddy stuffed! We enjoyed trying the 4 different types of bbq sauce and overall enjoyed the loud atmosphere. We were there the day before Thanksgiving and it looked like quite a few people were ordering their Thanksgiving meals to go. read more

Greetings my Foodzies, let's travel to Wrigley Field, directly across from there is Smoke Daddy restaurant. Nice sports bar atmosphere with numerous TVs, open front windows and a vibrant feel. Just before the game we enjoyed some BBQ. Our server was Ivan he was friendly, knowledgeable, personal and attentive. We tried the loaded fries with crispy fries Mac daddy cheese sauce, pulled pork, chipotle ranch, green chile jam and scallions. Very flavorful, each bite was different depending on what ended up on your fork. We had the cheeseburger which was a double smash burger with cheese. Great crisp on the burger and juicy. The BBG burger which also had a double smash burgers, pulled pork, cheddar, crispy onions with a bbq drizzle. A very delightful bite the mixture of the burger and the pulled pork was very tasty. The Mac-Daddy with added pulled pork was another treat creamy cheesy with the savory pulled pork and the crust from the baked cheese and topped with BBQ sauce. Delicious. Lastly I had the Smoked Meat Platter with burnt ends and brisket along with Mac & cheese and coleslaw. The burnt ends had a nice crust, they were nice and juicy. I was thrilled with the brisket; it was sliced to thin and fatty. The coleslaw was dry. That was the only thing we didn't like. Their array of sauces were tasty as well. I give this restaurant 5 stars. I highly recommend this restaurant. Let me know what you think. Ciao Ciao for now. read more

Ordered the Bloody Mary, St Louis style spare ribs with Mac and cheese and cornbread as sides. The Bloody Mary was great. It came with a little half size Miller high life. The ribs were also very good. The sauce it came with was sweet and tangy, didn't try any of the other sauces on the table. Mac and cheese was a little watery for my preference. Cornbread had a nice pepper flavor mixed in, could have been a little more moist but was not too dry. Overall generous portions, nice presentation, and great flavor! Docked a star for the textures on the sides. read more

First of all the service was horrible and inattentive. The meat was all dry no matter what we ordered. Heck the beer cheese tasted like dehydrated pimento cheese. I had the 2 meat platter with chicken and brisket. To make it worse they serve it on top of white bread that just drys the meat out more. The Cole slaw and beans were decent. My son and daughter had sandwiches and served the sandwiches with sauce slathered on them. Just tells me it's hiding the dryness. I will say none of us had the ribs and it seems that is what they are known for. Fries were crispy. read more

Our waitress, Emily, was excellent. She was perky, friendly and helpful. We had the jalapeño beer cheese as an appetizer. It wasn't what I expected (melted queso) but still tasty. It was just a bit too mild with the jalapeño and more like pimento cheese. The smoked brisket and sausage were excellent. We would definitely come here again before a Cubs game. read more

Had the veggie burger, chili and a side salad. Veggie burger was made in house and was very tasty. They used almonds in it and it gave it a good texture. Had the chili as well and it was some of the best chili I've had. They used sausage link slices rather than ground meat and it had great flavor. Great to eat with chips. Side salad was nothing special and a tomato had a wet blue piece of paper or sticker on it and made it unappealing but still edible. Service was decent, not very attentive to our table. Loved that it is right across from Wrigley field, made sitting outside on the top floor worth it! Would go again. read more
