Amazing food and service. Everything was quick. Food tasted great. Nothing much else to say.

Love Smoke Daddy! My favorite place ever spun the wheel on St. Patricks Day Saturday! So fun!

I tried this place for the first time today since my regular BBQ place is closed today and tomorrow (Smoque BBQ) it's 4 of July weekend and I really wanted BBQ. This was super disappointing to say the least. I ordered the half rack ribs with 2 sides to go. The place was empty with no customers @5:00pm when I went to pick up my order. The baby back ribs were super overcooked and dried out. I mean they need to retrain the kitchen on how to cook and maintain temperatures when cooking a protein. Food is just way too expensive to overcook the main entree. You can't even use the excuse that they were busy. Just Chefs that don't give a crap about he food. Those ribs should've made it into the takeout box!!! My 1st. side was corn bread. It was ok as far as flavor. It had corn in it. Too much butter at the bottom left the corn bread wet. Ugh. My 2nd side was coleslaw, it was just ok. I could have made it better myself with buying all the ingredients from Trader Joe's. Also had a side order of burnt ends which was surprisingly moist. They were $8 to add to the order. Nothing to ride home about. If your by Wrigley and want Bbq I would skip it here. read more

Amazing service! We did the family style brunch and they kept the food coming! As soon as we asked it seemed to come out instantly and never had an empty glass! Brian was so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu with great recommendations. Would highly recommend with for a group! read more

Killin' Time before the afternoon game! Immediately found seats at the bar and we were ready to order. Small menu but the BBQ smelled amazing and they did have a variety of craft beers to wash down that grub. Being a Native New Mexican, of course it is going to shock me when I see green chili on the menu! After all, we are in Chicago! I did not think they had heard of it! We decided to pass on the chili but ordered the brisket sandwich and a side salad. That sandwich was so tasty! The beef was tender and the BBQ had both that sweet and spicy to it! Fries were extra crispy and went well with the sandwich. My salad was also good and just enough dressing which they put on prior to serving. Service and food were great! The bartender stated they had not been there very long but the place looked very busy when we arrived. Perfect place to fill our stomaches before the game! read more

Friendly staff and the food is really good. The place is clean and service is prompt.

I could see how people would think this place was a gimmick of sorts, but we ordered a bunch of items, and they all were delicious. They also went above and beyond for an allergy at the table; great service. read more

I don't really write reviews but what the fuck? $74. 70 freaking 4 dollars to get the food I wanted after a long ass night at the ER with my cat. Open my food containers for every single item to be cold. All of the chicken, brisket, and cornbread I ordered was drier than Somalia after its 10th year in a drought. The sausage was the worst tasting piece of meat I've ever had. Shaq's sweaty jockstrap would've tasted better. Tried giving some to my fat ass dog and even she turned away. The coleslaw was lukewarm and tasted like spit on cabbage with watered down mayo. The icing on the cake was out of the 4 bbq sauces I ordered, each one was progressively worse and worse and I couldn't even tell the difference between them. The beans and Mac and cheese were ok but not enough for me to get the barrel of a gun out of my mouth. I'm not a crier but this was enough to illicit a single tear after an already shit couple of days. Another example of Chicago having the worst possible selections for BBQ because none of these people know what food is supposed to taste like read more

Amazing food and attentive service and some amazing ambiance and vibes here. My favorite spot I ate at in chicago.

Awesome location, friendly staff, clean place, and delicious menu! The service is prompt and we got our food right away.

Ordered the brisket sandwich & my buddy got the burnt ends sandwich. Brisket sandwich didn't have a ton of flavor, but it was juicy. Was hoping for a Texas style brisket taste. Burnt Ends sandwich was great. Flavorful & very juicy. Fries & Mac n Cheese sides were both good. Spiced rum & Pepsi.. different taste but I understand it's out of the restaurants hands. I'd definitely return next time I'm in Chicago. read more

Was here last night after a night market right across the street! Unfortunately the brisket plate we ordered was beyond dry. It was more along the lines of day old brisket that was left out than anything fresh or tender. I wish I had taken a picture bc it was even visibly dry. We had the brisket nachos which were ok, the wedge salad was good and so was the cookie desert. We did come around 8pm so it might've been the tail end of the brisket but even so, shouldn't have been served. Manager agreed and took it off our ticket which was good but also to be expected. Our waitress was friendly and the ambiance the typical downtown bbq place with the metal plates etc, nothing special but we were seated right away and it was clean and neat. read more

Let's cut right to the bone. Left the Cubs game in the 6th inning and took the family to get smoked meats. I'd been to the Wicker Park location and the bbq was excellent there. Unfortunately the experience at the Wrigleyville location was poor. Service was fine. The meal was exceptionally mediocre to bad. We ordered the rib sampler and the smoked meat platter (burnt ends and brisket). The ribs were completely dried out and over sauced. The burnt ends were good but the brisket was thinly sliced hunks of fat. I don't shy away from eating fatty meat but this was gross. It looked like medium rare pork belly. This is the problem with almost all the brand name restaurants in Wrigleyville. The original locations are great but the touristy locations in Wrigleyville serve, at best, cheap cruise line buffet fare. read more

This place just re-opened this past weekend and came here with my boyfriend for some drinks and dessert. This place is huge with 2 floors and with lots of TVs, high top tables, and larger bar tables. It was socially distanced appropriately and felt comfortable with how far apart the tables were. We got a table luckily upstairs which had a similar layout to the first floor. The bartender was our server which took a little longer for us to get greeted and placed our order. She was super friendly and got our order placed right away. We ordered a glass of champagne and a jalapeño margarita. The margarita was really good which a little kick! Our cookie skillet took about 25 minutes to wait for, but was worth the wait! I thoroughly enjoyed the vibes with the live music which is every Friday and Saturday night. Our bill was $38 for everything including tip! read more

Smoke Daddy is a very good BBQ spot in Wrigleyville and a good option before or after a Cubs game. We have been here a few times and have had a number of items that we would recommend. Starting with the appetizers, the pimento hush puppies are excellent. A unique twist on a traditional hush puppy that are sizable and have a great mix of melted cheese and crispy batter. Do try the jalapeño jelly that comes with them - a great addition. The entrees and size are equally as good. I would recommend getting the burnt ends and brisket. While the brisket was a little fatty, it still had a great taste and smokiness that didn't overpower. If you're not into a big BBQ meal, would recommend the Wrightwood salad. A good mix of greens and chicken that both were very fresh. Finally, this restaurant has a great atmosphere. When we went, they had a singer who was playing a great variety of tunes but not so loud that it was hard to carry a conversation. The restaurant is also family friendly and open to the outdoors for an airy feel. read more

We had 15 guys and were quickly accommodated. I throughly enjoyed my experience.thank you for a great time!

Great food. Great drinks and atmosphere. We come here before the cubs games all the time.

Great meat! I enjoyed the setting a ton and service was great. I got the meat platter with 2 sides and it was so good. Lots of food as well

Willing to give 2 stars because our server was great and very kind. We got the nachos with pulled pork (i think but could've been another pulled meat) and they were not good... Would recommend to try something else on the menu or their all you can eat weekend brunch sounds great! read more
