Service here is terrible! I ended up leaving because the guy that worked there was so condescending and disrespectful. I went farther down Vista and had my smog done there. Quick service is what I need on a lunch break to smog and register our vehicles. First visit was when we moved to Wingfield. We used to go to a location down the street on Los Altos next to the Tires place, but after two let downs service wise; never again will we return there. I stopped by on my lunch hour and was able to get my car in for a smog and registered in 15 minutes or so. The guy that has helped me over the years with our vehicles is efficient and friendly enough. When I'm on a time crunch, I'm not the friendliest, but helpful to have no nonsense people. I came to take care of business and this guy takes care of you in a timely manner. Fair prices, will return as long as they're here. read more

Just ran in to get a smog check and had an awful experience. The man assisting me had a nasty attitude and terrible customer service. He was rude to me for no reason, didn't even greet me, and told me I needed to "read next time." Lmao! Will never stop by here again. With so many other smog check places to choose from in town, there's no need to behave this way towards potential customers. A friend of mine suggested getting my smog this year at Smog Monkey. I pulled into a spot and the employee greeted me at the door. He was safely distancing from me and asked that I open the door to reduce contact during COVID. The test was done in a few minutes and he provided me with my receipt. This location also offers to renew your registration onsite as well. It's a one stop shop! Highly recommend and you'll be done in a jiffy. read more

I was happy to know a smog check place was so close to my house. Well 3 car smogs later with this business and I will drive to any other place but smog monkey. In my experience, most business's during this pandemic have had longer than normal wait periods. NOT at Smog Monkey!! I was in and out quickly. I usually see Rob at the Vista Blvd. location, and he is always great to deal with! Their prices are fairly reasonable as well. I love helping out local businesses (during these times especially), so I highly recommend them for smog checks, registration renewals, etc. read more

Pulled up. I said hello to the guy. Didn't acknowledge me. Fine. At least he was wearing a mask. Barked some orders at me to put my car in "aux" which I didn't understand, but turns out I had already done. Left the door open upon his request so he wouldn't have to touch it. Great. Makes sense. By this time though, he had removed his mask, even though I was wearing mine. Had to go inside to pay. He still did not put his mask on. Wow... I guess you can't believe all the reviews you read. My wife and I brought both of our vehicles in for smog check at the same time. They have two machines so he ran both smog tests simultaneously. Both tests were completed within 15 minutes, or maybe less, and we were on our way back home. $26.00 per vehicle. You can't beat that. This was a quick and painless experience and I would recommend this smog location to anyone. read more
