Absolutely sweet guy, he's patient with you if you've never done it before. He says realistic expectations of the process and what's going on with the DMV. If you enjoy a patient person who likes to talk, this is a place to go read more

This is a small but efficient shop. Quick and quality work at a good value. The guy who runs the shop is very nice and full of advice.

Reno's best place for the annual smog check. This has been my go to place for the past 6 years. The service is quick and the cost is affordable and reasonable. I hesitated in writing a review because I wanted to keep this shop Reno's best kept secret; however, B's Smog deserves to get more business. read more

I had been to this smog place a year or two ago and I loved it. The dude was nice and chatty, it was quick, and it was cheap. However; I went again and I had a different experience. It was a different guy and it was a little.. weird. It was still cheap and quick, but kind of uncomfortable. The dude didn't greet me, didn't really talk to me, and was overall just kind of rude. It was 25 bucks for a smog which isn't a price you can beat, but I don't think I'll go to this spot again. read more

Been doing business with B's for many years. Honest, friendly and very knowlegable! Dog's a very mild soul! Try'em out, you won't be dissappionted! read more

Awesome Service! The lady at the DMV asked for a recent smog test, and I was in a bind. She said to check my phone for nearby Smog places. B's came up, and the test was done in less than 10 minutes for the $20 charge. B is the Man! read more

Quick, friendly, very reasonable. Will use again and again:) for sure. Next to Winco too!

Smog was very quick but just felt like i was being talked to like a dingbat the whole time, dude was talking to me but when he needed something he expected me to read his mind, mind you i am there with my young daughter so im focused on my daughter, just wouldnt tell me when he needed something and i had to figure it out and when he did he would mumble it! Very quick service but didnt appreciate feeling like i was being talked to like an idiot and not only that he insisted my daughter and i stand in his small space for the smog, i understood he was cold but i understood thats what his service window was for? So i wouldnt have to be inside! Just overall not a cool experience, didnt appreciate the vibe read more

The owner is skilled and has been doing smog testing for years. He was personable and easy to talk to - definitely a nice person. His prices are better than most. Highly recommended. read more

i go to this place, mind you it's my first time cars everywhere so i decide to park on the side so he can finish with the client that got there before me. i go up to small building, then the guy is just staring at me with a weird look. i politely say "hi, i came for a smog when your done with the client you have at the moment". he then just awkwardly stares and proceeds to say "park right there, see where you're standing yeah right there." *he points* (as if i don't know where i'm standing.) i honestly didn't appreciate overall the way he talked to me, if he had spoke in a different manner i wouldn't have left but he didn't and im sure none of us like being talked down on as if we're "dumb" read more

I've been to B's Smog for 2 years. His price is reasonable for $20, service is quick, and the owner is a nice fellow. I would recommend this business to everyone. read more

Bill is great to talk to while your smog check is being completed. He has a love for cars so if you get him talking beware you might be there for a while. Service is friendly and the price is very reasonable. He's been a great addition to the south end of town, I've been here several times since he's opened. He's in the red barn style shed inside the used car lot, next to Winco Foods. You can get to him by pulling into the car lot...Not to be confused with the mini service center also on that part of the lot that is directly accessible from the street! read more

Excellent service. The owner's dog's name is Cinderella. She'll be the first to greet you with a smile (never a woof).

Super nice guy! Great price too! I recommend him! I'll go every time I need a smog. Thank you !

Randomly looking for somewhere open until 6 and stumbled upon this place. Great price, honest, talks the whole time and great dogs. No reason not to go. Call first, he is just a dude in a barn so might be surfing. read more

I visited this place a couple days ago. I just wanted to try to different place to smog my vehicle other than my normal place by Big O tires in south Reno. The price was good and the owner was very friendly. He liked to talking a lot. He had a cool, mellow dog that hung around. The service was great. The only thing I wish he had was some marked parking spots. When I arrived there, there was a vehicle that was pulled in sideways so there was no place to pull in. I think normally people pull straight in, but I don't think it was the owners fault that this one vehicle pulled in all crooked. I'll probably bring my other vehicle there next time. He looks like a guy that's trying to make a living. The price was decent and the service was good. I would've talked to him more but there was some place I had to be. read more

What a great guy, (and his dog) service was fast efficient and reasonable. I would highly recommend Bill to anyone needing a smog check!!
