Decided to try this place out for a smog test and this is my new go to. The owner is friendly, energetic and quite entrepreneurial! Inside the store he had many fun items and showed me his 3D printer! Always satisfying to support a local business. Oh, and the smog test was quick and very no nonsense. Very fast and efficient service. I needed a smog test for the DMV. I reached out on Yelp and received a response in less than half an hour. He greeted me upon pulling into the spot and was getting stated about a minute later. He was finished in about 3 minutes. My car unfortunately did not pass, but he was able to help identify the issues I needed to get fixed and explained what it might entail. I believe the receipt said something like $22 which is a great value for how quick and easy he made it. Would recommend if this is in your end of town and you need someone who is quick and professional. read more

The Smog Place has large green signage which helped me think of this place when my annual smog check came up. I called ahead to double check the hours and was pleasantly surprised to learn that The Smog Place is open 7 days a week as well as a little later on weekdays. Perfect! I was able to get my smog done for $25.99 plus I paid $10 to have the registration taken care of as well. Easy, peasy and very friendly! I'll be returning for the other vehicles in my family. read more

Fast service, fair prices, Smog check performed right in the front parking spot. The associate was very personable and efficient.

So efficient, friendly, and professional. I was done within 5 minutes. Nice location too. Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time today, as I refuse to go back to a different shop but that's besides the point! I pulled in and was immediately greeted by the technician. He promptly started my smog test and we were having a bit of a conversation. He, which turned out to be the owner Josh, was not only hilarious to chat with but got the car done in liked seemed seconds. Went inside to pay and they really have a great set up inside not just for smog, but car items like windshield wipers and even Notary service. Pricing is on point for the service! I was really glad I read the reviews here and this locally owned business is definitely worthy of 10+ stars. Easy to get in and out and on your way! Thanks Josh for a great experience. Will see you in August for the other car. Seriously, just go and I seriously doubt you will not disagree! read more

Absolutely the best customer service, making this the only place I'll ever use in the future. Efficient and friendly, a winning combination.

I needed a quick smog as I was pushing my limit to renew my registration on time. I walked in and was immediately greeted by three staff members. Staff promptly walked out with me and began the process. The machine was being a little difficult, but that's no fault of the shop; technology can be finicky. I was in and out in no time and was able to pay my DMV fees for my registration on site. This company does not get enough recognition; everyone was friendly and prompt in their assistance. I will only go to The Smog Place from now on! read more

Completely agree with the other five-star reviews! We went around 1:30 or 2 pm. The owner immediately came out to meet us and performed the test. Total time spent was around 10 minutes. It was so much faster and more efficient than I would have thought possible for a state-mandated test. And they were so nice, too. I highly recommend going here and supporting a local shop owner in the bargain. read more

Excellent service, great attitude! I pulled up and the tech rushed out and got right to work. I was out in less than 15 minutes. Great guy.
