Went in on a Thursday at 11:00am and was helped by Mike. In and out in about 15 min. There was no waiting and Mike gave me the password for the free wi-fi (not that I was long there enough to really utilize it!). Service was friendly, fast and the car passed (Whew!). The price is higher than some of the volume smog shops, but the Yelp discount helped to off-set that. Highly recommend if you'd rather be doing something other that waiting in line at a smog shop! read more

The attendant (wish I'd gotten his name) was super nice and very friendly; he made great small talk and actually acted like he gave a darn about his customer service. Quick, friendly service. Called on short notice twenty minutes before arriving and was out in ten. They have an awesome coffee maker and a comfy futon to rest while waiting. In a day when you literally feel pressured or rushed to get out of someone's place of business, be rest assured that this business in a complete 180 degrees!! I have used this facility for both of my cars biennial smog certs. While there may be less expensive places to have this done, I have never had an issue when picking MY appointment time and getting in an out of there in less than 20 minutes or less. Quick and friendly service. Was warmly greeted at 12:25 on a Tuesday afternoon, and was on my way at 12:46. Received $20 off as a return customer. I've come here for several years now, and I appreciate the service I've gotten. The office is clean, and there is wifi available -- although each time my car is done before I have a chance to get much done online. It's a good place to take your car for the "necessary evil" that you have to have done every two years by the DMV. I handed him my DMV paper work - he scanned it, I signed the paperwork, he smogged the car and off I went. Great service with a friendly staff. Hubby recommended I go here for my smog check. This is the place he always uses. Now I understand why he always goes here. I called and made an appointment for the following day. I had a little trouble finding the place, but because I had made an appointment, the guy was on the look out for me. He flagged me down as I rolled past and motioned for me to park in a certain area. Thank you! I had already spent a few minutes driving around looking for the place, so I was so grateful he saw me. Paperwork was quick and he pulled my car around back for the test and, I kid you not, barely 5 minutes later I see my car come around the side again and it's done. He had told me it wouldn't take long, but, wow! There was no upcharge or funny business (as I read about at some other places) and he honored a coupon I had, so it was a good price. The technician was so nice, I have to give them a good review. Being a woman, smog testing is low on my interest menu, but the guy (medium height, glasses, dark hair) who served me was charming and friendly - totally service oriented so.... ten out of ten for Smog King.
