SMKD [Verse 1] Down Eastern Avenue, where the desert meets the flame, There's a little spot in Henderson that's got a mighty big name. You walk through that front door, and the first thing that you know, Is that smell of hickory smoke saying, "Boy, you're home." Chef got that brisket cooking low and slow, Tender like butter with that deep smoke glow. Burnt ends caramelized, falling off the bite, One taste of that bark and you know they got it right. [Chorus] SMKD, baby, let that smoker roll, Put a little smoke and a whole lotta soul! Brisket so tender, ribs falling apart, Every bite of that barbecue goes straight to your heart. From the Pig Candy sweet to the Dirty Dirty Beans, Best damn barbecue this desert's ever seen. If you're hungry in Henderson, there's one place to be-- SMKD BBQ, come get a plate with me! [Verse 2] Got Pig Candy on the table, sweet and sticky hot, Smoked wings sauced up -- man, give me what you got. That marble cornbread dripping butter on the side, And those burnt ends got me taking one more bite. Then comes the brisket, fat rendered just right, Pastrami on rye with that mustard bite. A French Dip waiting with that au jus flow, And a Cuban piled high with that pulled-pork glow. [Chorus] SMKD, baby, let that smoker roll, Put a little smoke and a whole lotta soul! Brisket so tender, ribs falling apart, Every bite of that barbecue goes straight to your heart. From the Pig Candy sweet to the Dirty Dirty Beans, Mac-N-Cheesy dreams and hush-puppy scenes. If you're hungry in Henderson, there's one place to be-- SMKD BBQ, come get a plate with me! [Bridge] Got my plate piled high, got smoke in the air, Got sauce on my fingers and I just don't care. Sweet potato hush puppies, crispy and golden brown, That mac and cheese might just shut the whole world down. Then somebody says, "You got room for dessert?" I said, "Absolutely not..." -- then I saw that Snicker bar first. Apple hand pie, cobbler coming my way, Guess I'm gonna need elastic on my jeans today. [Final Chorus] SMKD, baby, you're a country boy's dream, Smoke rolling high like a Tennessee stream. Ribs, brisket, pork -- stack it up sky high, One more bite of that BBQ and I'm ready to testify! Sweet, smoky, savory, every flavor's on fire, Walk in hungry, walk out saying, "That's what I desire!" Henderson's got a smokehouse and everybody agrees-- SMKD BBQ... that's the place for me! [Outro] So if you're cruising through Henderson when that sunset turns gold, Follow that smell of smoke -- let your appetite take hold. Pull up to SMKD, grab a seat and dig in... 'Cause when that brisket hits your lips, you're coming back again. read more

I'm honestly not someone who usually goes for American-style BBQ, so I wasn't expecting this place to be one of my favorites. But after trying the food here, I was genuinely impressed by how much I enjoyed it. What stood out to me was that SMKD doesn't feel like your typical BBQ spot. They take familiar smoked-meat classics and give them a more creative, modern twist while still keeping that deep, smoky flavor that makes BBQ so satisfying. We tried a variety of dishes, including the Sliced Brisket, Burnt Ends, Smoked Salmon, and several other items. The brisket was tender and flavorful, while the burnt ends had that delicious smoky, caramelized quality that makes them so satisfying. The smoked salmon was another nice change of pace and added some variety to the meal. The sides were just as enjoyable. We tried the Red Beets & Orange Carrots, OG Cole Slaw, Dirty Dirty Beans, and Not Boxed Mac-n-Cheesy, and each one brought something different to the table. I especially enjoyed having a mix of smoky, savory, creamy, and fresh flavors alongside the meats. And if you enjoy drinks, they have a great selection to pair with the BBQ, from local and craft beers to cocktails like the Spicy Watermelon Margarita and Espresso Martini. I also like that they offer non-alcoholic and lower-ABV options. Another big highlight of our visit was Wendy, the manager. She was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and thoughtful from beginning to end, helped us navigate the menu and choose what to order, and made sure everything was going smoothly throughout our meal. Her warm and genuine hospitality really made the experience even better. Chef Alex Reznik has created something really fun here--BBQ that feels familiar but still has plenty of personality and creativity. As someone who normally doesn't seek out American BBQ, I can honestly say SMKD won me over. Everything was flavorful, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. Definitely a strong recommendation from me, especially if you want to try BBQ with a little something different. I'd happily come back! read more

Outstanding Smokehouse Experience at SMOKD BBQ I recently visited this barbecue spot and left completely satisfied--this place has nailed what matters most in BBQ: great food, warm hospitality, and a vibe that pulls you in. The Food: The smoked meats are where this place truly shines. The brisket was tender enough to pull apart with a fork, with a perfect bark and just the right amount of smoke ring. The ribs fell off the bone without being mushy, and the pulled pork had that ideal balance of juicy interior and smoky exterior. Even the sides stood out--the mac and cheese was creamy without being heavy, and the Cobb salad provided a nice acidic contrast to cut through the richness of the meats. Every bite felt like it came from someone who respects the craft. Staff Friendliness: From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, patient with our questions, and genuinely cheerful throughout the meal. When they noticed my companion had a tight deadline for work, they brought extra napkins proactively and offered to wrap up leftovers efficiently. It's rare to find service that feels both attentive and unintrusive. Ambience: The space captures that classic smokehouse charm without feeling gimmicky. Warm lighting, exposed brick, and the unmistakable scent of hickory smoke lingering in the air set the tone. It's lively enough to feel energetic but not so loud that you can't have a conversation. Whether you're coming for a quick lunch or a weekend dinner with friends, the atmosphere makes you want to linger. Bottom Line: If you love barbecue done right--or even if you're just looking for a solid place to eat--this spot delivers on every level. The combination of quality food, friendly staff, and inviting ambience makes it worth seeking out. Highly recommended!!!! read more

Absolutely loved our experience at **Smkd BBQ**--this place truly delivers on both incredible food and outstanding service. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the owners, who were genuinely friendly, warm, and clearly passionate about what they do. It was really nice getting to meet both of them, and that personal touch made the experience even better. Our food came out impressively fast, which was a huge plus, especially considering how fresh and well-prepared everything was. Now let's talk about the food--because wow. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. We had the cornbread, hush puppies, mac n cheese, creamed corn, ribs, brisket, candied pig, and sausage, and there wasn't a single miss. The **candied pig** was unbelievably juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor--easily a standout. The **creamed corn** was unlike anything I've ever had before, so rich and delicious that it honestly deserves its own shoutout. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone amazing, and the brisket and sausage were just as impressive--smoky, flavorful, and cooked exactly how great BBQ should be. The sauces were also incredible and complemented the meats perfectly without overpowering them. Overall, this was an amazing BBQ experience from start to finish. Incredible food, excellent service, welcoming owners, and a great atmosphere. Smkd BBQ is definitely a place we'll be coming back to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for seriously good BBQ. read more

SMKD BBQ on S Eastern is a masterclass in low-and-slow perfection. Despite only being open for three months, the packed dining room and crowd of return customers prove they've already mastered the craft. The ribs are a revelation, with meat that falls off the bone at the slightest touch. Their burnt ends are equally impressive--super tasty, juicy, and literally falling apart. When it comes to the brisket, you can choose between lean or fatty cuts; while both are cooked to perfection, the fatty option is a must for those who crave a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The sides hold their own, too. The macaroni and cheese is creamy, cheesy perfection, and the UBE cornbread is a delightful surprise, blending traditional cornbread with a unique twist. The pickled vegetables included on the tray provide a bright, acidic balance to the rich meats. What truly sets this spot apart is the hospitality. Owners Alex and Gene are incredibly friendly, taking the time to chat with guests and share the story of their growing business. A huge shoutout to Heather, who provided excellent menu highlights and shared exciting details about their upcoming fine-dining sister restaurant. Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or just looking for a killer meal, SMKD BBQ is a must-visit. read more

Walking into SMKD BBQ on a Friday night, we were greeted by a bustling atmosphere. Almost all the tables inside were occupied, and the line outside stretched for about three groups deep. Fortunately, we managed to secure a spot, and as luck would have it, the weather was perfect, making the patio area even more inviting. We decided to share our meal, ordering two plates that came with a variety of meats and sides. As this was our first time at SMKD BBQ, we wanted to try everything. We ordered ribs, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, cabbage, chicken, and burnt ends. The ribs were my personal favorite. They were tender and flavorful, although I did wish they were even more fall-off-the-bone. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and delicious, and the spicy BBQ sauce added a nice kick. The service at SMKD BBQ was impeccable. Gene and the chef came around multiple times to check on us and ensure that we were satisfied. They also had a great selection of beers, wines, and seltzers. If you're looking for a great place to grab a bite on a Friday night, SMKD BBQ is definitely worth checking out. You'll have a great time and leave with some delicious memories. read more

SMKD BBQ is the kind of place you hope to find and then immediately plan your next visit. It was like being amongst family with service that shined! We went with the pastrami on rye and mac and cheese, plus the Cuban with crispy cabbage and collard greens. The pastrami was rich, smoky, and piled high, with perfectly grilled bread that held everything together. The mac and cheese had that ideal mix of creamy and golden on top. Comfort food done right. The Cuban really stood out. Pressed just right with bold, layered flavor in every bite. The crispy cabbage added a fresh crunch that cut through the richness, and the collard greens were tender, savory, and clearly made with care. And I cannot not mention the smoked onion dip. Omg. It is ridiculously good. Creamy, smoky, and the kind of thing you keep going back to even when you are full. Even the pickles were worth calling out. Bright, crisp, and the perfect contrast to everything else on the tray. Simple setup, but the execution is dialed in. Everything feels thoughtful without trying too hard. Definitely coming back. read more

I've been coming to SMKD BBQ several times a week, and it has easily become my favorite BBQ restaurant in Las Vegas. I'm especially happy it's in Henderson, so it's close to home. The owners are incredibly friendly and always make a point to welcome me when I walk in, which makes every visit feel personal. The staff is consistently courteous, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions or make recommendations. The brisket is absolutely outstanding. If you order the 50/50 brisket, it's exactly what you'd hope for--perfectly balanced with incredible flavor and texture. The barbecue has an authentic, slow-smoked taste that's hard to find. If you're looking for excellent BBQ, great service, and genuinely welcoming people, I can't recommend SMKD BBQ enough. read more

Overall, I had a good experience at SMKD BBQ. The staff was friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout the meal, which I really appreciated. The mac and cheese, fries, and hush puppies were all delicious and were the highlights of the meal. The brisket, however, was a bit of a letdown for me. It was a little dry in some areas, and I wasn't a fan of the sweet seasoning sprinkled on top of the sliced brisket. Personally, I think great brisket should be flavorful enough to stand on its own without needing extra seasoning. The sausage was a little dry as well. I also like the music they play here Even with that, the sides and service made for an enjoyable visit, and I'd be willing to come back to try some of the other menu items. read more

What a delicious treat this was. First time at SMKD. I'm told it's been here for 4-5 months and I live nearby but just discovered it. This certainly won't be my last visit ... this week. Where to start, where to start. Let's start with the BBQ pork ribs... they had a tasty spice rub and a nice smoky flavor. Tender meat, just fell off the bone. The other meat I got in my 2-meat plate was the pulled pork, which was also tender, well seasoned, and just overall mouth-watering. You get two sides with your meal, and I went with mac n cheese (very good and flavorful) and some sort of sweet potato hushpuppies that were absolutely delicious. Oh, and the service was excellent. Be back soon! read more

First off, the atmosphere is great! Decorated very cute and the feel is kinda southern and kinda Southern. Restaurant is bright and very clean. Employees greeted us and explained items thoroughly. The food was absolutely amazing! We got two of the two item platters and there was enough to feed four people! The sides were huge and were all homemade from scratch. Highly recommend the potato salad and baked beans, especially! The fries and creamed corn were also quite delish! And the sauces had so much flavor! Then banana pudding for dessert to top it off! Definitely a homemade recipe. All meats and sides were very fresh and so tasty! Geeat spot!!! read more

Arrived with 15 people as they opened; they quickly caught up. Service was fast and friendly. Food was DELICIOUS, some of the best BBQ I've eaten, and with our group, we tried everything.
