Amazing, thoughtful, and timely support! David was able to help us get our chime fixed by diagnosing the issue over the phone and guiding us through the repair. Would highly recommend David for his expertise and friendly guidance. Thank you!

Working clock on a graduation hat!

Absolutely AMAZING customer service at an affordable price! I really wanted to make my graduation hat stand out and decided I wanted to have a working clock on my hat. Not only was my graduation the next day, but I called to see if he was open on a holiday! The owner not only provided the parts needed but also installed the clock onto my graduation hat! I was beyond excited and really made an impossible idea that I had come to life. Thank you so much and I would give 10 stars if I could!!

Mr. Smith was great in getting my 100+ year old grandmother's clock running smoothly after it had stopped. I highly recommend him.

There is a place where you can gear up and show your San Francisco free spirit. Located on Clement street it's called Foggy Notion. On a San Francisco Karl The Fog stroll I landed inside Foggy Notion. Inside you will find candles and natural skincare products along with gifts with some San Francisco representation. The products are made by local artisans . Get a towel of Sutro Tower and salty waters of the Pacific Ocean on the both sides of the Bay Bridge. After the Bay to Breakers run come and get some soap. I know it's an expensive neighborhood, but people often go to vintage/antiques shops specifically to find good deals. - The inventory (esp. clothes, wall art and decor) doesn't change all that much; I see many of the same items month after month. I wonder: if the prices were more reasonable, would they have more luck getting inventory in and out the door? - Bargaining is often unavailable. STUFF works with 3rd party vendors, so they may not be able to bargain with you (I tried). - The store front feels a bit stale. They painted the building a fun, bright orange, and they have a great little entry outside, but there's nothing there. It's pride this weekend as I write this, and I did notice a fun rainbow outfit inside, but it's hidden way in the back....not out in front. Consider having more fun with your display space! Neither a Pro or a Con: - STUFF's primary focus is Mid-Century Modern furniture and decor. If this is your style, great! If not, there's not much else, furniture-wise.

I was correct and also so glad I took the time to stop in. Firstly, the store employees: Tiara and Janielle were immediately and incredibly helpful, knowing that I'd likely want quarters for the vending machines and accepting my silly $2 bills (which my father put in my stocking at Christmas because he's a prankster like that) and handing me a cup full of $6 worth of quarters while explaining the vending machine limit of 3 prints per person very kindly. I asked if it was ok if I filmed and they assured me it was totally fine! This was really cool later on, as the shop's account commented on the video that I posted and that felt very interactive! After I had used up my last quarter and gotten my 6th mini mystery print from the vending machines, I started my search for a birthday card for the previously mentioned prankster-father of mine. The selection was delightful! Perhaps not massive, but still delightful as every option was by a local artist and priced really fairly for that privilege (about $6-6.50 per greeting card, which is actually a great value). I found four birthday cards for various people in my life and two "get well" cards for a friend and my mom who are both about to have surgery. After that I started to search through the other items in the shop, of which there were MANY and the options were so incredibly cute and kitschy as well as being very usable. I didn't end up getting anything other than the greeting cards, mostly because of the pricing, but I can respect a high price-tag when it's on a locally made artisanal item. I just couldn't personally afford any of it on that particular day! My six greeting cards totaled out to $46 including tax, and I'm ok with that! I've already used one and it was appreciated greatly! I have to say that the highlight of this visit wasn't the items or the super cool mystery art vending machines, although all of that was incredibly fun and exactly what I was looking for going in.. but the staff really made me feel welcomed and hyped up and I think that the soul of a store is sometimes made or broken by it's employees and how obviously they like or dislike their jobs. These individuals obviously enjoy working here and I felt welcomed by their energetic and thoughtful interactions with me. I will absolutely return!

There is no signage in the store or on the receipt regarding this policy. We were told we would have to speak with the owner the next day. When we went back the following day, the woman who claimed to be the owner pointed to an outdated, handwritten "HOLIDAY POLICY 2024". I told her that shouldn't apply to this purchase and it's disgraceful to be charging 4X the price and not be willing to refund. I was told that's the price you pay for being able to "touch the items" vs online purchases and she refused to budge on the store credit. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
