I ordered their napkins as a gift for a friend. I received the FedEx box, finally, and inside the napkins rolled up with sticker stuck to them. Not their own box or no plastic sleeve around them. I looked at one and they are extremely thin. There is no way I would use these on a tabletop to have a drink set on. It would be like using nothing. I looked up their return policy. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment minus any applicable processing fees. Returned items must be sent with proper postage, packages with postage due will be returned to sender. After receiving, I went back to their website to check the reviews of this item. Guess what? They don't have any reviews so I guess you cannot see if you were buying an insufficient product or not. Lesson learned, I will never order from this company again. read more

I found the candles I was looking for at Hudson Grace! Cire Trudon is a high end candle brand from France. Found HG stores were having their 9 year anniversary sale (20% off everything including Trudon candles)! They had the classic scents but also some special candles in colorful red, blue and white glass vessels. I bought one as a gift for an high end family member :) The store also had table topic books of glamorous destinations, stemware and plates. Their house brand of candles were of various American locations. Small store but provides items for interior decorators. Today is the last day of their weekend sale...I got their just in time. read more

Everything. A hot mess. No order confirmation. Calls made. Unreturned. Emails sent. Unreturned. Package arrived much too late with for function unreturnable junk! I phoned store and finally got someone to answer with the old song and dance, "this is another department that handles your issue". I do not recommend purchasing anything from the retailer. EVER! A refund and return of items that arrived too late, no receipt nor order confirmation, tracking info. I'd love a refund....its the right thing to do!!!! One "right thing done" would be appreciated! All I can say is WOW! I called the store and Kristy helped me choose a scented candle for my daughter in law. This was not a big $ purchase. She treated me so kindly, and was able to do a personal signed note included with the candle and will be shipping it to LA. I will make the drive from Sacramento to San Fransisco to meet Kristy in person to thank her and do some more shopping. Hudson and Grace is my favorite store for gift giving! It's been 10 days since I ordered a gift from their website and I have no idea where my order is. One service agent informed me that it shipped but they never provided tracking information to verify. I've emailed their customer service multiple times for an update on whereabouts of the gift order and never received a response. The gift recipient confirmed she has not received anything. Since I can't seem to reach anyone, I'll have to go through my credit card company to get a refund. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

I did not know they were a florist too. I was there to purchase shoes from Christian Louboutin Boutique at the Brentwood Country Mart and when I walked by, the most beautiful display of green flowers caught my eye. I was in charge of florals for my Sorority's 2017 Southern California Cluster Conference Reception Dinner and I because our colors are pink and green, I had to stop in. Keep in mind, I had already ordered pink roses from a local florist that I always use. The flowers were absolutely STUNNING! By the time I called back to order the poms, they were already sold out so I ended up with the green hydrangeas. They were the talk of the night and the conference. Thank you to the team at Hudson Grace for accommodating my last minute request. The flowers were a hit all weekend! I will definitely be back very soon!!! read more

I went here for the first time today and was immediately greeted with grace. The woman that helped me was Kirstie and she was the sweetest, literally helped me pick out my Christmas gifts, wrapped them, and helped me carry them to my car! I believe the other sweet guy who helped me was named Lemond, he also helped me wrap the 20 items I bought. Never once made me feel like an inconvenience for having so many items and holding up the line. I am so grateful and they both made my day!! I am giving a one star only because of a specific product-- their candles. They smell great but when I light a Hudson Grace candle my Dyson air purifier light indicator goes from green to red within minutes. I have tons of candles in my home from a variety of brands that do not cause the indicator to change. I am not sure what is in the Hudson Grace candles but I will no longer buy them. read more

I had the oddest experience at this store the other day. I asked if they sold chocolate and the sales person said yes and brought our 3 boxes of chocolate in different sizes: a small box, a sleeve of cookies, and a large round box. She then removed the lids and showed me what they looked like: the small box had 3 truffles inside; the sleeve had thin orange-flavored cookies that she smelled and let me smell and the large box had several layers of truffles. I just needed a small gift so I said I would take the small box. She then said, 'these are yours' and put the box next to the magic whisk I was buying. I was astonished and said I would like a fresh box, not one that had been open and was clearly meant to be on display. She looked flustered and went to the back and came out and said that was the last box. I can't believe she tried to sell me that open box; moreover, when I got home I realized I was charged $9.78 for a whisk that bore an $8 price tag. I know that SF is having issues hiring retail help but I will not return to this store. It was a disheartening experience especially after having come from Anthem down the street with it's gorgeous interiors and welcoming, friendly staff that didn't try to sell me an open box of candy or overcharge me $1.00. amazing!! just went to Hudson Grace on a recommendation from a friend wonderful, interesting home furnishings, incredible smells, wanted to buy everything for myself, but was looking for a something different for a wedding gift. Hard to choose so many great items. Everything is displayed so beautifully and the staff was friendly and not overbearing, so I could wander and look at everything at my own pace. This is the place to go if you want a gift, especially if you don't know what you want yet!, but beware you will be buying yourself something, too! read more

My husband and I were taking a walk and decided to see what Hudson Grace had in the way of household goods. I found a great candle and glass holder that I purchased ~ though, it was so large that I asked one of the sales clerks if she would hold it for us until after we ate lunch. We were traveling by Uber and on foot. She agreed. We also had a larger shopping bag and smaller bag that we asked if she could hold those right along with our purchase ($200+ was our purchase). Silence. Both clerks looked at each other and said, "they just did not have enough room"...for one thing, our bags were half full and not bulky, one had a throw in it and was very soft. If I did not have the "perfect" spot for the candle and holder, I would have had them take it back. No customer service here!! read more

Stopped in yesterday on a recommendation of a friend. If I were a bride this would be my main registry. Do you remember Wolfman Gold and Golde Company in NYC in the 80-90's? Well this is the new Wolfman. The owners are former William Sonoma exec.s and you can tell they know what they are doing. Exclusive white dinner and serve ware. Gorgeous chunky candles. Warm wood cutting boards. Great stuff for you, but really elegant hostess gifts. Check this store out. It is right down the street from Good Buys too. read more

I strolled in and decided to buy a couple of flower arrangements. The sticker price on one of them was $45. I asked the sales person if they could make another one that same size. She obliged. My thought was I would be buying $90 in flowers. Nope! They charged $45 each for both bundles of flowers and $38 each for the simple glass vases they put them in. I walked out with $186 in flowers. I think pricing like that is misleading and unfair. I should have spoken up and I regret it. read more

It is with a great amount of deliberation that I am writing this review. It is also the only review I have ever written. I am an interior stylist. I reside outside of the SF area. I have clients who reside in an area very close to Hudson no Grace. For the last two years I have been working ongoing w/ my clients and whenever I come to town Hudson no Grace was on my "A" list of stops to make. However my most recent encounter displayed NO "Grace"! Pun intended! Over the holidays, I spent several thousand dollars and a great deal of time hand curating a collection of items to be used for a holiday affair that I was staging for my clients. I arranged with the sales staff at Hudson no Grace to have the merchandise picked up by my assistant the following morning. By morning my plans changed and the decision was made that I would pick the merchandise up myself. When I arrived I was told by very bewilder sales associate the she had given my merchandise to a complete stranger! A complete stranger, who offered no receipt or description of the items he was picking up. He only mentioned that he was there to collect merchandise for his boss. Hmmmmm...as anyone could imagine, it was an extremely awkward and frustrating dilemma. Not to mention that I was under a huge time crunch! I have learned in my line of work, that you always do whatever you can to make your clients whole and feel well attended. ESPECIALLY ones who have been loyal! The line of questioning from the sales staff via store manager went from insult to injury. They all but accused ME of having own merchandise stolen! They suggested that my assistant probably set me up! They told me that there was nothing they could do until the mystery was solved. Well the mystery was ... Why would you allow someone to walk out with volumes of merchandise and not request proof of purchase!!???? Fast forward the police were called to take a report. I was humiliated. I had to leave with no resolution. Wait... But it gets better! Hudson no Grace shortly upon my leaving the store MiRaCulously located my merchandise! By this time I was in no condition to return. My assistant went in to collect the pieces. He was told that the mystery man that they had no idea who he was returned the merchandise!I was never given a courteously call of apology, no note , no email, nothing! I guess shameful and abusive customer care is the underlying motto at Hudson no Grace. What an awful experience and what an embarrassment to the brand and staff! SHAME ON YOU! One loyal customer down! There are several other lovely shopping experiences on Sacramento street however. Hudson no Grace will never be frequented by myself, my clients or any loyal associates in our social circle! read more

I dropped in Hudson Grace and could have spent half a day looking at all of the great things they have. I ended up buying a beautiful cutting board/cheese board made in Hungary. I immediately took it home and had cheese! Great looking store, very good staff--friendly and helpful. Don't go in there unless you are prepared to buy--there's too much temptation! read more

One of my absolute favorite stores! First of all, fabulous customer experience. Everyone is very warm, genuine, natural and welcoming. I feel totally comfortable walking around the store and exploring. Never feel pressured to buy. Second of all, I love everything in their store! Beautiful, unique pieces mixed in with some practical items. I am currently obsessed with their stemware and cake plates. Just beautiful. This is the way retail used to be--a neighborhood store with excellent customer service and products.
